WB VS Accusers

Accusers: *accuse someone of grooming based on a discord conversation or based on roleplays*

Werebelushi: Question, what do you mean by you think that roleplaying alone with someone who is younger equals grooming? Does it even matter how old the person was at the time they even did it if it is just fictional characters? I am sorry but saying 'oh so and so was rough to me in roleplays and forced me to do sexual things' alone on a discord server does not count as evidence, especially if at the time you or the other person consented to it. These accusations happened to Nathan over exactly that but all of the supposed sources of this all point to a mini-series that got cancelled after it got no definitive ending and guess what the other character he was doing with it was just retconned out of the remade version anyway and wasn't even a real person, yeah they weren't a human - they were an ageless alien posing as a human the entire time, so it doesn't even matter. I hate that there's always someone who is like 'oh so and so is a groomer/transphobic/racist, guess I cannot like them anymore' and just feels like blocking them because of that reason without any solid evidence, look at least let them explain how they saw it first before jumping to a million conclusions. Even if the roleplays in general aren't sexual? Even if they did not remotely do anything sexual? Honestly the word 'grooming' gets misused so much these days to the point that I think that when it's not used in the correct context it's just them thinking that every thing that involves attraction even non-sexual attraction is sexual, like all they think about is sex. Buying flowers for a lovely co-worker who has been helping you with projects? Grooming. Having a casual night out with someone you just met and showing them what you like? Grooming. Private dance lessons with a young student? Grooming. It's like they all think it's something sexual. Look, what happens in comics and roleplays and stories isn't real, even if the supposed person may think so otherwise.

Acting like 'oh I cannot enjoy this anymore because the creator is problematic' for no reason is dumb, l mean lots of people both young and adult still reading the work of Roald Dahl despite the fact Dahl had some problematic views, or reading Harry Potter even though JK Rowling's views aren't at all befitting of someone. I still love An American Werewolf in London and a majority of John Landis's movies despite what happened with the helicopter crash that caused the death of Vic Morrow. I can still enjoy Beetlejuice even though Jeffrey Jones is in it, heck...I like Howard the Duck even though he was in that too, and yes Beetlejuice Beetlejuice does very much take Jeffrey Jones's Charles Deitz out of the picture by showing that he died (he doesn't even have a head or neck when he shows up in the afterlife yet he has still got a voice). Some creators on the other hand I have changed my opinion on, like Cosby...don't get me wrong, I like his stand-up and Little Bill and Fat Albert, but I heard mostly bad things about movies he has been in, yeah Leonard Part 6 has a reputation for being one of the most infamous bad movies ever made. Schneider on the other hand, I feel more sorry for the stars of his shows and not for him.

Yes there were numerous stories saying that HP Lovecraft was racist and paranoid but he was introverted and reclusive and a man of his time, that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy his works or adaptations of them. No offense but if you're going to make accusations about someone how about some actual proof outside of screenshots and discord conversations.
