Hessian Hex Remake Part 4

Sometimes you know the cure is a little bit harder than normal to find and that is where our friend the alchemist came in as the three of us i.e me, Rebecca and the alchemist walked around to go find the cure to my affliction.  The book mentioned something about a blood red flower which might be of some use and so I hurried to the woodland area to pick up a petal of that flower,  I rubbed it on myself but then I saw what appeared to be a ghostly shadow horse whinnying as if he wanted me to be his owner.

“Oh no, no…i’m not your owner.’

‘But you’re my owner and you know it, i’ m Daredevil, and I loooove you.’ The horse exclaimed as he attempted to hug me. ‘But I am not your owner.’  ‘I’d recognize you anywhere, you are my favorite owner and I love you.’   I couldn’t believe it,  Daredevil thought I was his owner.  I tried to let go of him but he panted and then cried once I told him I was leaving now. ‘But I wanna play.’  ‘Stay here.’  ‘Okay.’

Daredevil cried as he looked over at the bowl of oats that had given to him, as I raced off and followed my two friends…that’s where I saw a raven’s feather. ‘That witch must be near.’  The alchemist pointed out the ingredients we needed to make a cure and we gathered them up before returning to the inn.

Back at the inn I went on my computer to translate the words that were in the incantation to be used as the cure and I found out it was going to be a lot less easy than I thought. I drifted off to sleep a couple of hours later, only to violent nightmares of being taken over by the Hessian.  I woke up from the nightmare and looked in the mirror, and I saw my skin paling up again. ‘Looks like it’s going to be harder than I thought.’
