A Brisk But Fun Sunday Adventure with Belinda

Corey and Oats went on many adventures together and sometimes the adventures would happen unexpectedly,  and the Sunday before last was proof of that alone.  You see, at the end of that week Belinda was getting ready to go to Australia for a holiday visit but she decided it would be a good idea to take the gang for a trip to Glenfield Mall in the afternoon.

They all had lunch prior to this and spent some time going on their own adventures in the lounge and had spent a lovely afternoon together when Belinda asked if they could come with her on a Glenfield Mall expedition and they all said yes. Mel put on her shoes as she and everyone else got ready, after getting their friends together they all jumped in the floating van and headed off.

The group all headed to Glenfield Mall as they all sang and interacted before arriving at the mall  when they arrived at the mall they walked in and hopped onto the elevator which took them to the floor with the shops, and there was one specific shop she wanted to go - the Warehouse.

So they all headed to the Warehouse, Mel and the others headed down the toy aisle to look for new friends and they saw a ton of new squishmallow pals including some Lord Of The Rings ones,  Mel saw the one of Frodo Baggins and she said..’Oh look another squishmallow that reminds me of myself’  ‘But mommy,  you’re a koala-girl, you’re not a hobbit.’  ‘Well there was this one person online who made fun of me by calling me Frodo I don’t know why,  it’s either because i’m short and/or live here in New Zealand.’

‘Well he must have been weird.’  Corey and Oats along with Piff looked around to find squishmallows and they found some brand new snackles including a group of snackles that they weren’t sure were real snackles, one was a yeti that had a suspicious resemblance to Bumble from the Rankin Bass Rudolph special holding a bowl of noodles.  ‘I wonder why they choose noodles for that yeti.’  ‘Must be a reference to those Chef Boyardee commercials with the yeti-like creature in them.’  ‘Okay, that shark one is just the blue snackle shark but with a severed human foot.’  ‘Yeah, I bet that one was made to celebrate the anniversary of Jaws.’  

‘Better keep that one away from Dan Schneider,  he might try to claim that one as his spirit animal.’  ‘Yeah, he would.’  The duo looked at the imposter snackles and they noticed that the tags had the species name of the snackles on them when the real Snackles didn’t.

They looked and looked until a little prawn Snackle named Petey kept jumping out and asking to join them, they adopted him and headed around the clothing aisle but not before Mel told the actual Snackles to keep an eye on the imposters, after buying some clothes they all headed out and over to have some donuts from Dunkin Donuts.

After they had their donuts they all headed back to the elevator and headed back to the carpark, upon entering the carpark they all headed back to the floating van and jumped inside it.  The floating van took them all the way back to Nile Road just in time to get ready for dinner as Jill called all of them,  and the Snackle was given a tour of his new home.  

When dinner arrived they all gathered together and had a delicious meal and afterwards Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish,  as Mel emailed Jill about their adventure.  Which was followed by a karaoke session and a game session,  when that session was done they all got ready for bed as Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his pink princess night-gown. 

This was followed by a smoothing ASMR session with Piff and Tangie who made fish themed arts and crafts together and played Tangie’s favorite game of ‘Guess the Bathbomb Scent’ as they all brushed their teeth,  and this was followed by Piff initiating his signature closedown sequence,  he always began and ended the day with an animated sequence as a throwback to when channels like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network would closedown at night and start up in the morning.

The sequence for the morning sign on would feature an anthropomorphic pufferfish wearing pajamas yawning and getting out of bed - followed by the fish brushing his teeth and jumping in the shower as a night time background morphed into a daytime one as the pajamas morphed into day clothes and a morning sign on message such as ‘Good morning to all sea-creatures out there, you are watching the Piff Channel’ would pop up.

While the sign off/closedown sequence would be the opposite and feature a goodnight message such as ‘Thank you for sailing with us today, we all have had fun today and we hope we have entertained you all and we are all going to sail off into the land of dreams, goodnight to you all, love from all your friends on the Piff Channel’ would appear.  

Piff jumped into bed with Tangie and kissed her before smiling and giving his own goodnight speech which was of course his very own goodnight speech…’Goodnight to all you sea-creatures out there, we are glad you could come along with us, we hope you will join us all again.  Love from everyone on the Piff Channel but especially love from me and Tangie, goodnight’ before drifting off to sleep with everyone else and laying down.

Anglo turned off the light as they all slept and had sweet dreams, and thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up so stay tuned.
