A Sharky New Friend

Corey and Oats had many new friends including the sea squad, the sea squad initially was exclusive for aquatic squishmallows but had grown to accompany aquatic friends from all walks of life including recently Snackles, with Petey and Rachel recently having just joined the squad as new members.  But now they had a new member in the form of Tino,  Tino was a shark who was playful and like Rachel and Petey he was a Snackle, at first Mel and her friends mistook him for an unofficial or knock off Snackle  but one look at his ID proved he was indeed official, just not a licensed snack holder.

While the choice of him holding what appeared to be a human foot seemed a bit dark due to the unfair representation sharks had been given since the release of Jaws,  the other Snackles accepted him as one of their own regardless. And the day of his initiation would soon be here, one day after morning tea all the sea squad members gathered in the lounge and Corey and Oats helped get Tino ready for the initiation.

The initiation ceremony began when Piff opened up a portal to the land of Squishville, which even though was a town inhabited by Squishmallows, anyone could enter it and explore it even if they weren’t a squishmallow.  They all took Tino to the marine biology research center where they all got to do research projects on fish, which was followed by a trip to the gym to take part in the swim race.

“Are you ready for the swim race?”

“Oh yes.”

“I just know you are going to ace this.”

“Absolutely.”

Tino helped the sea squad win the swimming race and was given a special prize before they all had lunch together, which was followed by a special gameshow challenge in which the sea squad members went up against another squishmallow team, and they took part in numerous challenges including a trivia challenge in which all the questions were ocean themed.

This was followed by a trip to an aquarium and even an immersive water play session as Tino found himself really getting along with the others before relaxing for a bit and having an underwater tea party and some snacks for afternoon tea. Piff and Tangie even got to share a kiss together as they took part in a parade, which was followed by a relaxing spa session.

Tino was fully initiated into the group in the parade and he was given hugs by all his friends, which was followed by a special aquarium themed arts and crafts session which was followed by another fun activity involving collecting sea-shells, and the final activity they all did was write a sea-creature themed song.

Piff congratulated Tino and gave him a hug as they all jumped through the portal just in time for dinner,  when they arrived back in their Nile Road they all sat down for dinner and Piff made some japanese food for them all to eat, which was followed by Mel emailing Jill about their adventure as the fish couple went fishing and caught a lot of fish.

In addition to this they had a karaoke session and even played games, and when it was time to wind down all the aquatic pals had a special ASMR session with Piff and Tangie and Tino, as they made cute fish themed arts and crafts, played Guess The Bathbomb Scent and even played a fishing game.  Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his pink night-gown as they all brushed their teeth.

Piff initiated a special version of his closedown sequence that was initiated using a holographic screen,  this time the closedown sequence featured the anthropomorphic pufferfish swimming with a group of fish-like squishmallows towards a lovely underwater palace, the pufferfish’s clothes morphed into pajamas as the background darkened and turned into a night time background as he and all the fish squishmallows swam into the bedroom and jumped onto the bed as soothing music played, the pufferfish yawned and brushed his teeth as a goodnight message appeared on screen.

Which Piff did his own version of by sliding through an underwater tunnel and down a slide which took him all the way into the bedroom before he dove into a little pool which led to a tunnel which took him towards the bed, once there everyone jumped in the bed as Piff kissed Tangie and gave a goodnight speech which was: ‘Once again we have acquired a brand new pal and our new snackle shark friend Tino is settling in rather well and he likes his new bed, we all had a lovely time today and we hope you have had a good one too, goodnight to all of you, love from all of us including all of us sea-creatures.’

He drifted off to sleep and so did everyone else as Anglo turned off the light and they all had sweet dreams, including Piff who dreamed of taking the sea squad to numerous places he had been to with Tangie and even of making a video diary to show on Youtube to all of his friends - smiling in his sleep as he did so.

And thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up, so stay tuned.
