Piff Makes A Horror Movie

Everyone’s favorite duo known as Corey and Oats were lucky to be in a huge talented friend group including one very famous fish known as ‘Piff’ the pufferfish, Piff had recently gained a huge online following due to his videos which had helped Mel gain over 270 subscribers and he was also a hugely successful film-maker and musician and even took on the role of a superhero.

One day a video of his based on one of his nightmares became extremely successful and he decided that he wanted to make a horror movie so he came up with a script involving a house tour going wrong and a bedroom filling up with water and a curse involving fish-monsters, he used influences  from 80s horror movies like Return of the Living Dead, The Stuff, Humanoids from The Deep, The Hidden and so on to make it. He gathered all of his friends together and even cast the staff in the roles including Carmela,  Belinda, Maria and Rachel.  

The staff really liked the script and the movie’s premise and really wanted to be involved in it but Rachel had some concerns because her character was slated to be one of the monster’s victims and asked Piff to change the name of her character but Piff responded with..’I know my latest movie project with you was a bad experience for your character because she got killed off at the end of the last one. But I am a writer and it is my work, not yours. If you want to do your own movie and use a different name for yourself or Belinda you are more than welcome to do it, and your character’s name is your name in the movie. Yes I argued with you over which scenes you should be allowed to have the most dialogue in but I do not hate you, I love you all, I do, I just have bad days. And so do you.’

He used some magic from the bedbox to make a movie set come to life, using some special magic to make it look like the bedroom Mel slept in was flooding, the whole environment shifting to look like an 1980s horror movie with Creepshow style lighting, a television screen popped up along with a fish monster model on the wall which came to life and spoke to him,  he began to make the movie with all his friends.

Even though the staff had some problems adjusting to their characters, Piff assured them that he did not hate any of them - and that he would never actually wish harm on them, though he and Mel and the others may not have agreed with them at times, there were a lot of times the group were thankful for the staff and what they had done.  Although Rachel was out of the loop on why ‘Mariana’ was not part of the characters and thought that Mel and Mariana were the same person, Mel explained that Mariana was another character, specifically an actress from an other online universe and saga that was not part of the universe.

Rachel immediately came to understand that since she had known Mel for quite a while, that there were multiple online universes and that ‘Mariana’ was never part of the main one, as the fish-monster came to life and started stalking Piff and all the friends, Piff instructed the staff to remember their lines as he gave them lunch and drinks, he told them that it was important to stay safe on set.

They shot several scenes for the movie and filmed it and Piff even made sure that no fatal accidents were to happen to the cast,  because he had read stories about famous on-set movie deaths mainly the Twilight Zone helicopter crash,  the Rust incident, and The Crow among others.  He wasn’t one to usually believe in superstitions but he made sure to stay on the safe side.

This was followed by an afternoon tea break and they all played games as Piff fought off the fish-monster…’Stay back evil fish monster, I am a kung fu master. Hi yaaaa!’ ‘Oh Piffy, you’re so brave.’ ‘I know.  Aiiiiii yaaa! Dare you fight me, mr evil fish? I am the master of the ancient fishy martial art of Shing-gon-wu!’  

He performed several moves in the martial arts style known as Shing-gon-wu and defeated the fish monster and he continued to add new scenes and dialogue into the movie as he used magic to give the staff hero powers and thanked them for helping.  They all had dinner together and after dinner Mel emailed Jill about their adventure as Piff sent some behind the scenes videos of his new movie to his youtube channel.

Suku  - who was his biggest fan and also his twin favorited the videos and even did a ‘Best Corey and Oats Monsters’ compilation that included the fish-monster from the movie, and Piff even had a huge premiere of his horror movie in the living room -  which was filled by Piff and Tangie going fishing and catching a lot of fish.

This was followed by a gaming session and a karaoke session before a nice wind-down session which consisted of Piff and Tangie making aquarium themed arts and crafts, and even singing together and playing Tangie’s bathbomb scent guessing game as Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his pink pajamas.

They all brushed their teeth and got ready for bed as Piff initiated a special version of his closedown section which featured the anthropomorphic pufferfish running into a bedroom to hide from a monster and the fish yawning and brushing his teeth before jumping into bed as his clothes morphed into pajamas as the daytime background morphed into a night-time background and the goodnight message appeared on screen.

Piff jumped into bed and kissed Tangie as he settled down and he gave a goodnight speech which was: ‘There is nothing like going to the movies or staying at home and watching a movie or falling in love with what we see on screen, today I took one of my Youtube videos and adapted it into a movie which my fans definitely love. I hope you all will look at this adventure and more upcoming ones too, but it is time to go to bed, and so that’s a wrap from us, love from everyone including Piff’ as he laid down and drifted off to sleep, and that’s what they all did.

And thus they all drifted off as Anglo turned off the light and they had sweet dreams of their adventures, including Piff who dreamed of winning several Fangoria and Saturn awards for his horror movie, and he smiled as he slept.
