Stand Up Guys Review

Chris:
Hello humans, Walkens and fellow creatures of the night - I am your humble host Chris the alpha Walken and welcome back to the Walken-A-Thon. It seems that a lot of humans are noticing me and taking note of my Walkenity. I have news for all my fellow Walken fans out there...it's September. And do you know what that means? That's right, it's getting close to Hallo-Walken time. That special time of year every October when the Walken's long lost sibling the Hessian Horseman comes to terrorize all the poor helpless humans, decapitate them and feed on their delicious blood. And every Walken and She-Hessian converts the lucky ones that don't get killed into Walkens and She-Hessians.
For those who are new, welcome to the Walken's Lair. Enjoy your stay here. Because we've got quite a lot of Walken movies to go through tonight. First up, we have the gangster flick Stand Up Guys.
This movie came out in 2012 and is about two old criminals Val (Al "Scarface" Pacino) and Doc (Walken, naturally) who reunite to kick some serious ass after Val gets released from prison (he got sent to prison for killing someone's son). I have to admit I love this opening, in a way it reminds me of that movie that the female Werebelushi i've seen around here likes so much - what was it? Oh yes, the Blues Brothers. I think the opening to this movie is just like when Jake gets parolled for good-behavior at the start of the Blues Brothers.
They are tasked with killing someone and as such they reunite with the third-member of their motley crew - played by Alan Arkin to do the job. Of course from then on, these three gentleman start kicking major ass. The chemistry between Walken and Pacino is genuine, you really get to know them both as gangsters and old friends with terrible, dark pasts.
It is a really well written movie with great chemistry between the three main actors and the action scenes are badass. As a Walken fan and a Walken in general, there is nothing I don't like about this movie and I heavily reccomend seeing it. Plus..you know that Walken makes even the worst of movies more interesting.
What can I say? Everybody likes Walken. And soon dear human viewer...so will you. Relax, this will not hurt.
*His already blue eyes turn aquamarine and become hypnotic* Look into my eyes, listen to my words....you are falling into a deep trance. You cannot help but fell deeper and deeper, you will be so deeply entranced. All your thoughts are becoming a blur, it is getting harder for you to think. All you want to do is show your ever growing love and affection to Walken, you love Walken...you wish to serve him, and to obey him - like a good Walken should.
You love Walken so much, and you've always wanted to be like him and to serve him. Fear not, Walken loves his Walkens and Hessians/She-Hessian so much, and they love him back.
You shall be one of them. But please...don't resist, resistance will only cause pain, and you don't want that...do you? Of course not...you want to be eternal, hypnotic, and Walkenful - an enchanting Walken or She-Hessian.
You want to please Walken, don't you? Of course you do. It makes you feel good. It feels good to just submit and give in, to become one with your inner Walken. That's it, relax, give in...obey, be a good Walken...your Walkeny master will be oh so nice to you if you do. Obey, be a good...be a good obedient Walken/She-Hessian. Give in to it, let my hypnotic voice guide you into the world of Walkenity...there...now isn't that nice? Of course it is. *his eyes return to their normal blue with dark green inner rings*
Oh yes - this movie. Stand Up Guys. You must simply watch this movie if you haven't already, especially if you like action movies, gangster movies, Al Pacino, and of course Walken. I give it ten out of ten and two Walkenized clawed thumbs up, could use with more cowbell but still a good film. Pretty damn epic if you ask me.
I'm Chris the alpha Walken, stay tuned - my loyal subjects as the Walken-A-Thon continues and the Hallo-Walken festivities begin. I hope you will enjoy your stay here in the Walken's lair.
