Around The Bend review

Monstermaster13 reviews:   Around the Bend

Chris:

Hello and welcome back to Monstermaster13's reviews....I am continuining on with the Walken-A-Thon reviews.

Originally I planned on watching and reviewing the 1998 film Trance/The Eternal/Kiss of The Mummy but unfortunately....I couldn't find a single place to watch it online and most of the ones that do have it -  either have it as a torrent or on a site you have to pay for it using your credit card or something.

So instead i'm going to be reviewing a different Walken movie.    This time I am going to review the 2004 film Around the Bend.

Now this is a heart-warming family drama starring Chris Walken as Turner Lair,   an ex-con man who reunites with his estranged grandson Jason (Josh Lucas) and the two go on a road trip together.

Michael Caine is also in this movie too and this movie is extremely entertaining and quite charming.

It's also a nice subversion of the Chris Walken we know,    the emotional scenes are well played out and the performances are beautiful.    Walken does a terrific job in this movie of being the reluctant father type.

And yes.....Walken dances in this movie,   Dancing Walken is ALWAYS a treat to see.    So check it out if you haven't.

It reminds me of how wonderful it is to be a Walken... it feels just so nice to surrender your will and mind to the process of becoming Walkenized.      It feels wonderful to let Walken-like thoughts enter your mind.     The more one changes...the more Walken-like they get,  until they are fully Walkenized and ready to become obedient Walkens ready to help their master whenever they are needed.

I rate this movie 10 out of 10 and give it two monstrous clawed thumbs up and a high reccomendation stamp.

I'm Chris and this has been another Monstermaster13 reviews,   I am going to share the joy of Walkenhood with the world.
