Chris:
Hello everyone and welcome back to the Walken-A-Thon,  well it’s about time I talked about this movie.   This movie is THE Walken movie.  The movie in which Walken is at his most hypnotic.

That movie of course is King of New York,  released in 1990.   Next to the Godfather,  this is one of the most well known mafia movies.

I’m not going to describe the plot of this movie because you’ve all seen it and you already know what it’s about.   All I can tell you is that it is very gripping and the first collaboration between Walken and Abel Ferrara.

This movie focuses on Frank White who is played by Walken,  and he is a terrific character,  Walken’s performance is perfect.

The supporting cast of this movie is wonderful too including Laurence Fishburne, Steve Buscemi, and David Caruso.

The atmosphere is brilliant and fantastic,  giving it a cold and brooding tone that you can’t help but love.

Fun fact:  Walken once sent a message to Rapper Notorious B.I.G who at the time claimed to be the real Frank White.

This movie is timeless and definitely worth watching if you haven’t seen this movie already,  also I bet you didn’t know there was a doll of Walken’s character.

I heavily reccomend checking this movie out if you haven’t already,  btw...the doll is an unlicensed one by Kidrobot and is quite rare so you’ll have to look real hard for it.

If you are a Walken fanatic,  you must watch this movie right away.   You must...you must obey, your Walken commands you.

I give it 10 out of 10 and give it Walkenized thumbs up,  as well as a Walken seal of approval,  obey me...and watch this movie..coooowbell.
