Power Of Few Review
Chris:
Hello my lovely Walkenized subjects and fellow lovers of all things Walkeny, it is time for another review with yours truly - Chris the Alpha Walken, your prince of darkness and patron saint of cowbell.
Ah, it’s late March and do you know that means? That’s right, it’s time for another installment of the Walken-A-Thon! Now I originally intended the Walken-A-Thon to be exclusively a two month only thing during March and April considering Christopher Walken’s actual b-day is on the last day of March, but there were so many Walken movies and Walken related media to go over - I expanded it to be an all year round tradition.
For those who are just new to it, allow me to explain how it goes, I - Chris the alpha Walken, a quasi-vampiric creature who looks and sounds like Walken himself - review movies with Walken in them or anything Walken related in general. Each time I do, I delve into why I like said Walken media as well as go over Walken’s role. Whether it’s Fatherly Walken, Bloodthirsty Walken, Lighthearted Walken, Scary-Funny Walken, Comedy Walken, Dancing Walken, or just plain Walkeny Walken, I delve into whatever role Walken plays.
INow it’s been a while since I talked about a few Walken movies. I wonder what Walken movie has met my Walken’s eye today. Ooh! This is a new one….the Power Of Few, and it just came out last year? Count me in!
The sad thing about this is that there aren’t any actual descriptions of the plot of this movie, what I can gather is that it’s sort of an anthology that tells multiple stories through perspectives of different characters. Each story basically leading up to a conspiracy involving the cloning of Jesus and of a child simply known as ‘Few’ hench the title.
Directed by Leonne Marruci and filmed in New Orleans, this movie is primarily a conspiracy based movie with the anthology element of movies like Tales From The Darkside and Creepshow. I’m not going to talk about most of the stories here because I fear they would take too long but I will talk about Walken’s.
Walken plays ‘Doke’ a former tv reporter who now lives as a bum on the street but still talks like a news reporter. So….he’s Chester A. Bum’s long lost cousin? He looks rather a lot like J-Man from Envy. And you know how much I LOVE that movie.
Basically his story is that he and his sidekick go around evading the police while mentioning the cloning of Jesus which is what the main theme for this movie is about, I have to say this movie is extremely interesting.
Everything about this movie is interesting, so much so it would be hard for me to describe which bits I found the most interesting of all. Because this movie is very profound and complex.
I heavily reccommend watching this movie and I give it 10 out of 10 and two Walkenized thumbs up as well as a high reccomendation. You simply must check it out if you love Christopher Walken.
I am Chris the alpha Walken and this has been my review of The Power Of Few, stay tuned my dear Walkens, there is more to come.
