Piff Showcases the Piff Channel

-------------------------------------

Everyone’s favorite duo known as Corey and Oats were known for many adventures together with all their friends including Piff the pufferfish who had become very popular thanks to his Youtube content and he even had his own channel which he set up known as the ‘Piff Channel’ which was a channel he made that showcased a variety of fish centric programs, such as the ‘The Piff Show’  which was Piff’s crazy and silly variety show that had content like interviews with talented sea creatures,  highlight segments on sea life,  musical segments,  parody skits, fake trailers and infomercials and even special sneak previews of upcoming projects.

As well as other shows such as Aquarium Talk where Piff would review and talk about aquarium setups,  ‘Takifugu Yojimbo’  - an action packed show he made about his samurai alterego in the vein of Power Rangers with elements of anime thrown in,  ‘Puffed Up Fish Reviewer’  which was his review series which was a parody of the style of reviewers known as the ‘Channel Awesome’ type of reviewers (his first episode was very much a collaborative review with Werebelushi In Shades which was a review of the Onion Movie,  where he battled a CGI onion monster after being disappointed about the lack of onions in the movie only for the onion monster to turn out to be a nice person),  ‘Detective Piff’ (a noir detective series with superhero aspects, specifically paying homage to Batman as well as The Shadow), among other shows.

He had even done a special relaxation block for the evening including ASMR sessions and special relaxing fish video compilations, the mascot of his channel was an animated pufferfish modelled after himself  who would be depicted in several animation styles, and would be featured in the sign on and closedown sequences.  Of course this was done as a homage to when tv channels back in the 90s would have a closedown and sign on, especially if that channel had a timeshare with another channel and would do a hand-over.

The closedown sequence would always depict the animated pufferfish going on some adventure to get to the bedroom and it would depict morphing sequences of the background going from day to night (and a number of other means of a transition too)  and the pufferfish’s clothes becoming pajamas,  and the bedroom would always be depicted in a fantastical way, and there would be a goodnight message at the end.  Piff himself also would give a goodnight message at the end of each day.

One day he decided to show everyone a special interactive adventure based around his tv channel,  he got out some magic from the bedbox and used it to conjure up a special shortcut portal which they all jumped through to enter the studio,  upon arriving at the studio they saw all sorts of things.  Piff hopped on a fish themed tram with all of them and showed them a personal tour of his studio where he made all the videos on the Piff Channel,  including the room where he came up with ideas for episodes of the Piff Show.

He showed his collection of funny ‘revenge fic’ parodies he had written and put into his parody movie Not Another Revenge Fic Parody Movie.  ‘Here’s the Fireman Sam I wrote. Now I know Mel is very familiar with this show.’  ‘The original show, yes,  because that was one of my very first children’s shows.’  ‘Well this is about the Norman Price character from the CGI reboot series getting in trouble for his actions.’  ‘Didn’t the League of Entitled Karens complain about this story?’ ‘Oh yes, they did. They and the Hyperconservative Prick Squad will all up in arms about me supposedly targeting someone they thought was an innocent kid.’

‘These people are silly.’  ‘Yeah,  these are parodies, not actual revenge fic content, if they were more accurate to real ones they’d be a lot more graphic and more mean spirited. Some people you know just don’t get the differences between reality and fiction.’  This was followed by the gang all having some snacks and even having lunch together as Piff showed them the animation room where he animated the sign on and closedown sequences.

He showed one he was working on for the closedown sequence which depicted the animated pufferfish in a manga setting specifically in a temple where he was returning from a quest and using magic to transport himself into the magical bedroom,  they all played some games in the studio’s game room and they even saw a sneak preview of Piff’s latest project and of course Piff expressed his interest in showing off the shows that were part of the relaxation programming line-up,  including his favorite one which was one that was all about his mind and his dreams, each dream of his being played as a music video.

They had some afternoon tea together before playing around in the studio for a couple of hours before heading out of it and heading into the lounge for dinner,  Piff did one of his favorite segments he often did -  which of course was the cooking segment where he made some delicious meals for them all to eat.

After dinner they all relaxed before Mel emailed Jill about their adventure and Piff and Tangie went fishing and they caught a lot of fish,  which was followed by a karaoke session and a game session and their favorite relaxation session with their favorite activities including Tangie’s bathbomb guessing game.

This was followed by Oats putting on his Year of the Horse nightgown which had lucky colors on it and Corey putting on his bat pajamas, as they all brushed their teeth and Piff initiated the closedown sequence,  this one of course being the manga inspired closedown sequence depicting the pufferfish returning from a quest and entering a temple and using a magical incantation to fly over into the bedroom as the background shifted from day to night as his clothes morphed into pajamas and he brushed his teeth, yawning before floating into bed as the goodnight message appeared on screen.

Piff then kissed Tangie before giving a goodnight message which was….’Sometimes looking at the making of a show or movie is even better than seeing the product itself and that is what I showed everyone today and we all enjoyed ourselves, I hope that you enjoyed our adventures as much as we have, goodnight everyone.’

Anglo turned off the lights as they all drifted off to sleep including Piff who dreamed of making many new projects and even doing even more adventures as their adventure had all come to an end,  and thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming.
