Piff Makes A Children’s Story
----------------------------
Everyone’s favorite duo known as Corey and Oats were known for their adventures with all their friends and in particular with Piff the pufferfish who had recently made some parody movies and even had done something extra special in the form of writing some new installments of the adult parody novel series ‘Hot Fish Daddy’ and now he had been asked by Suku to join the ‘Underwater Writers Club’ in Deviantart City, Piff of course had a Deviantart City profile under the moniker EmperorPufferfish. That day after breakfast and before morning tea Piff was checking the messages when he came across an ad for a storywriting contest, the theme of the contest was to write a Roald Dahl style children’s tale for people of the modern generation and he thought long and hard about what he wanted to write about until he came across the perfect answer in his head.
He began to work on the novel, calling it the ‘Rotten Dum Dums’, he wrote the story down using some magical writing tools and began to describe the titular characters, he used experiences from real internet troll behavior as inspiration for their personalities and even used the Vyond community as a major inspiration behind it and he portrayed them as dum dum were-aykroyds who were too silly to realize they were in the wrong. The book’s story played out as a surreal parody of Revenge Fics told through a Dahl-like lens, depicting the Rotten Dum Dums as a group of rotten people who used their foul gas to corrupt people into hating their own friends for odd reasons, often exaggerating the reasons for doing so.
Piff designed all the characters himself and imagined them in his head and the story came to life from there, bringing the setting and the characters to life in a humorous way. ‘Mr and Mrs Dum Dum were very rotten people, they smelled rotten, they acted rotten, and their home even looked rotten. One day because they were feeling particularly bad, they made their foul stink into a gas that they spread throughout town, corrupting people into hating against their own allies.’
He described the Rotten Dum Dums and their numerous deeds included accusing the kindly elderly catfish next door of being a Satanist, coaxing teenage fish characters into taking drugs that made them see analog horror style monsters, to even posing as a rich couple to steal someone’s seat at a cafe, and described them as intentionally unsympathetic and ‘too stupid to know better’, they had lunch as he continued to work on the story describing how the people fought back.
‘This is such an amazing story Piffy.’ ‘I know, my fans will find it to be hilarious.’ ‘I know I certainly do.’ When Piff was done writing the novel he submitted it to the Underwater Writer’s Club contest submission page, a couple of hours later the novel had been submitted and all of Piff’s online followers were going insane over it. Suku even contacted him to ask if he could review the novel and make an adaptation for it to which he agreed.
Piff selected Suku’s Youtube channel and he saw a review of the novel he made…’The Rotten Dum Dums is a hilarious novel I could not stop laughing at, when it comes to portraying how rotten the dum dums are - there is no mercy given to the readers in terms of the descriptions of their horrible behavior and even poor elderly Mr Catfish gets accused of being a Satanist by them, the funniest parts are when they get caught doing something stupid. And oh boy was I laughing at the ending.’
Which was followed by Suku posting a brand new comic adaptation of the story on his Deviantart City gallery and Piff was so delighted to see his novel had entertained and inspired so many people, they had some snacks together followed by afternoon tea and a reading session together.
Afterwards Piff had checked to see if his work had been submitted and it had, and it was reaching the number one slot in the ‘Top 10 Funniest Children’s Books Written by Fish’ category, and that he was voted ‘Best Upcoming Fish Author’ for his story, which motivated him to write even more stories. Following the success of ‘The Rotten Dum Dums’ Piff published several more books including ‘The Magical Onion Patch’ ‘The Fish Who Became Half Coral Tree’ ‘The Holiday Fish’s Journey Through the City’ and more.
Followed by a gathering before dinner and after dinner they relaxed as Mel emailed Jill about their adventure and they played games together as Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish, followed by a karaoke session and some more games. An hour later Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his year of the horse nightgown as they brushed their teeth and the fish couple did their favorite relaxation activities.
Which include ASMR sessions, imagination sessions and Tangie’s bathbomb scent guessing game, Piff then initiated the closedown sequence which was depicted as an animated children’s story about the pufferfish traversing through a palace to find a secret bedroom as the background morphed from day to night as the pufferfish’s clothes morphed into pajamas, and the pufferfish yawned as he floated over to the bed and jumped into it.
The pufferfish brushed his teeth and yawned as the goodnight message materialized on screen, Piff floated into bed and kissed Tangie before giving the goodnight speech which was: ‘Well I made another accomplishment and made my very own children’s book and everyone loves it, and as such more adventures of mine are getting a lot of attention, as they should, speaking of adventures, it is time to go to bed and have one more adventure - in dreamland, goodnight everyone.’
Anglo turned off the light and they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams including Piff who dreamed of meeting fans at a book signing, and thus their adventure was over but more are coming up, so stay tuned.
