A Burtonized Pre-NYE Party

Corey and Oats were known for their adventures with all their friends including Piff the pufferfish and their holiday special mini-series this year which had all been created by Piff,  and this had been all his idea especially because not only had the holiday special last year been so successful but also that the Dark Metamorphosis mini-series had become a hit as well, and Piff thought it was a brilliant idea to do another mini-series this time, it was a Fishmas countdown mini-series.

And now he was working on a mini-series that would be a countdown to 2026 or rather a mini-one, and it was going to be quite the interesting adventure, on the morning of 30th of December, 2025 the gang all got up and looked around for a bit.  Mel was looking forward to what the adventure would bring,  because she knew it would be probably be interesting, although originally the idea was for the whole Nile Road crew to go to the Museum of Transport and Technology (or Motat for short) but Mel while initially interested in the idea,  eventually began to sour towards it because she had read a bunch of bad reviews about it.

Of course while Rachel may have felt distraught about it,  she moved on from it as did Mel and everyone else, so instead Piff thought of another fun adventure for the gang to do and just the gang, as after breakfast he used some magic in the bedbox to open up a portal.  ‘Since the Motat adventure was destined not to happen anyway,  How about we do our own adventure, no staff, no Natasha, just us - the gang?’  ‘Sounds good to me, so what is the plan?’  ‘Well it has occurred to me that you Mel helped Nathan remake his Tim Burton transformation series.  He made the Hessian Hex saga, are you thinking what I am thinking?’  ‘We’re going on a Tim Burton adventure?’

‘Yes,  there is a Tim Burton exhibition and we could go there.’  ‘Piff, you are such a clever pufferfish.’  Piff smiled as he and the gang all jumped through the portal, the portal showed a huge selection of places to go to,  there were all sorts of fun locations to go to and check out and so many locations.  ‘We shall go to the Design Museum in London to have a Burton inspired Pre-NYE party.’

He selected the Design Museum from the selection and they all jumped through the portal,  upon jumping through the portal they all arrived in the museum and looked around before finding the World of Tim Burton, Piff and Tangie felt supernatural magic flowing through the exhibit as characters from Burton’s movies came to life and Mel greeted all of them.  

Which was followed by a living scarecrow coming to life and morphing into Tim Burton himself,  the gang all clapped and cheered as he explained that he could do magic, Mel looked over at him as they all explored the exhibit and set up the party, all sorts of cheerful monsters sang a happy song and Piff even took on the form of his halloweentown form which was a living pufferfish doll that was stitched up and Aiyido took on the form of a pumpkin themed beholder variant with each eye ray being a type of firework.

Mel asked Tim if he had any new projects planned and he said that he had a special transformation power machine he had made that could transform people and give them powers themed around his movies, Corey watched as Piff offered to help him test it out as he summoned a friend of Mel’s,  specifically Jason,  he asked Jason to step inside the machine as he turned it on.

Jason stood inside the machine as the power transference sequence initiated, which was followed by an instruction to concentrate on a particular character,  he chose Edward from the movie Edward Scissorhands, as he did he slowly began to feel his body growing lankier and lengthier as his skin slowly paled, giving him sort of a ghostly parlor but not even to make him look like he was undead.

He concentrated on his hands and made a scissor shape hand pose,  concentrating as a metal sheen painted itself over them and morphed them into a pair of scissor-like blades similar to the ones Edward had as his clothes were coated in a shroud of shadow that turned them into an identical outfit to Edward’s,  he gained scars on his face as his hair spiked up and turned jet black.  Looking at his reflection in one of the mirrors shown in the windows,  he saw his appearance was morphing into the likeness of the character himself and dark eye makeup was even applied around his eyes as his voice changed to match,  he stepped out of the machine fully transformed, as a perfect doppelganger of the character.

Which was followed by them all having lunch together and some snacks before playing around in the party for a couple of hours, Fluttershy from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic came up to the gang and asked them for help because she had undergone a painful and horrifying transformation into a timberwolf that had left her traumatized which had also traumatized Mel, she apologized before hugging her.

Tim Burton and Piff helped her by turning her timberwolf form from a purely looking one to a more humanoid designed one and make it a wholesome transformation and also making that she would only be partially made of bark and other parts of a tree,  which made her happy because she had once said she had always wanted to be a tree.

Which was followed by afternoon tea and playing around and having some fun together and trying out all the different exhibits before deciding to head home as they jumped through the portal and said goodbye to Tim Burton.

When they jumped back through the portal they had arrived back in Nile Road, as Piff floated into the kitchen and prepared some Japanese food for dinner and they all enjoyed it,  followed by Mel emailing Jill about their adventure and Piff and Tangie going fishing and catching a lot of fish.

Piff and Tangie kissed each-other and they all had a relaxation session with Tangie’s favorite relaxation activities including sniffing bathbombs and playing Tangie’s bathroom scent guessing game,  which was followed by karaoke and a game session before they all got ready for bed.

Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his princess nightgown as they all brushed their teeth and Piff initiated a special version of the closedown sequence which was animated in the style of a Tim Burton movie with a gothic underwater town and the animated pufferfish riding on a floating clam shaped car through a tunnel which took him into a cozy bedroom as the background shifted into a night-time one as his clothes morphed into pajamas and he yawned and brushed his teeth,  before jumping into the bed as the goodnight message appeared on screen.

Piff floated into bed with Tangie and kissed her before saying..’Sometimes someone else’s else’s plans don’t coincide with what kind of adventure the other person likes, the episode/adventure you were supposed to get today which was Corey and Oats’s in the Adventures in Motat -  was cancelled because Mel thought it would not make for a good episode due to being set in a not particularly interesting location and such it got scrapped,  but we got a fun adventure episode to take its place anyway, and sometimes what we got is better than what we originally were going to have.  And well that’s the lesson, take a good note of it, and speaking of adventures, it’s time for us all to go to dreamland and have sweet dreams, see ya for more adventures and be with us tomorrow for tomorrow is the final episode of our 2025 season of adventures.’

Anglo turned off the light as the gang all drifted off to sleep including Piff,  who dreamed of what adventures the upcoming new year would bring as their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up.
