Marvelous Mall Exploration with Rachel

Corey and Oats went on many adventures with all their friends and sometimes these adventures would be with staff members who contributed to their adventures, and one such person who always came up with the best and most unexpected adventures was Rachel and today was one such adventure.

The word of the adventure had been going around since Monday the 15th of September, 2025 and the duo did not know what kind of adventure that adventure would be, but little did they know they’d get to choose the adventure. It was Sunday the 21st of September and that morning the gang all got up extra early and had breakfast, which was followed by the gang helping Mel to have a shower.

After Mel had a shower she got dressed as Piff planned for the day, an hour later the gang all prepared and got ready, heading to the magical floating orange car with Rachel and Mel as Piff made quips,  the magical orange floating car took them all over and it took them to their destination which was of course Glenfield Mall.  Once upon arriving at the destination Mel and all the others entered and stepped onto the travelator going down, which took them down to the second level before they all stepped onto the travellator going upwards.

When they climbed up the travelator going up they all made their entry into Farmers where they saw all sorts of friends in the toy section including the musical food that played ‘The Entertainer’ and even some Bum Bumz,  Corey saw the ice cream truck playset and it brought back memories of when he drove around in it on the trip with Maria, he also fondly remembered the horse and riding on it.

Which was followed by looking at the palm pals, their favorite thing to do with the palm pals was looking around for Aivyan the monster’s lookalikes, there were the usual 4 of them but there were a ton of new palm pals they had not seen yet -  followed by looking at the squishmallows, Mel was looking for a bat to go with her Ozzy attire for the ball and that’s where she came across one,  a pale pinkish colored bat squishmallow who she designed to adopt, she adopted this new bat and named him Ozzy.

Ozzy the bat squealed and smiled as he hugged her and the gang headed to their next destination, which was The Warehouse.  When they headed there, Mel and the others looked in the toy section and saw all the snackles as well,  Piff had decided that he was going to wait until the new series 3 Snackles were available again and the same for the halloween ones before looking around for some squishmallow pals. They had spotted several different ones before helping Rachel grab some things she had been wanting to buy, along with a special gift which was a squishmallow blanket.

Afterwards Rachel headed to get something at the 2 Dollar Shop which was followed by a visit to Toyworld, at first Mel didn’t know if she could get another friend -  but she decided that sometimes it’s good to treat yourself she picked out another squishmallow, a smaller bat squishmallow wearing a pumpkin which she adopted and added to her family, dubbing the second bat ‘Sharon’ after Ozzy Osbourne’s wife, this new bat wasted no time chatting up to the bat named after Ozzy,  Ozzy the bat flapped his ears and laughed.

Which was followed by stopping at KFC for lunch, where they had a popcorn chicken meal with popcorn chicken, chips, gravy and potato and a drink - after they had finished lunch they got bought themselves a sweet little dessert to have in the car, which was a ‘Gone Fishing’ donut with chocolate fish on it.

They all went back on the travelator and headed back to the second floor and headed to Briscos, where Mel was delighted to discover that it had squishmallows, after helping a lost yeti squishmallow get back on the shelf,  they all helped Rachel bring the rice cooker she had bought out and they began to head back onto the travelator again.

Mel was a bit nervous this time though, and she tried to walk on without the trolley but she felt like she was coming down with vertigo, trying to walk on to it without letting go was a problem and no matter how hard she tried, it ended up going completely wrong,  she couldn’t explain it, sometimes she could use escalators and travelators with no problems and sometimes she just froze up and didn’t know what to do, it was never entirely consistent.  

But luckily after Piff had several rides in the trolley with the gang they all headed to a lift and pressed the button,  the lift took them all the way to the carpark as they all hopped into the car and Mel had her donut -  which Piff really loved, and even tried a bit of it himself,  and they all drove off back towards their home in Nile Road.  The ride home was filled with fun including Piff jokes and lots of impressions of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Not only that but also there was the ‘Peaches and Cream’ gag Piff always did where he spotted the adult shop and laughed like a maniac. ‘Oh Piffy, you and your sense of humor.’ ‘You know one of these days she might just make us go there.’  ‘No need to ask her to make us do it, because I go there all the time during hours when you all aren’t looking.’  ‘Oh Piff, you rascal, what are we ever going to do with you?’  ‘Nothing, i’m me.’

When they did so they found that they were the only ones at home, but they didn’t mind as they all relaxed and Mel got a call from Jill,  she told Jill about her adventure and she introduced the new bats to everyone else in the family,  Piff smiled as he and Tangie kissed each-other before having some afternoon tea,  they had some lovely snacks and even some ice-cream.

Dinner came around and they had some of the most delicious food imaginable and Mel emailed Jill about their adventure afterwards and Piff went fishing and caught a lot of fish,  which was followed by two delicious dessert surprises and they played together,  there was a karaoke session and a game session before they all relaxed together.

After relaxing for a bit they all got ready for bed as Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his princess night-gown as Sharon nestled into a lovely nest area on the shelf as they all brushed their teeth,  followed by Piff initiating the closedown sequence which was a very special one done in the form of a storybook come to life with all the squishmallow friends being featured in it too as the animated pufferfish was playing around in the playroom of his house in Squishville when the daytime background morphed into a night-time one and he floated into the bedroom while his clothes  morphed into pajamas, and he floated into bed and yawned while brushing his teeth as a goodnight message appeared on screen.

Piff opened up a portal in the wall which took them all to their new bedroom and the friends followed him, as they all did so they jumped into bed and he did too before kissing Tangie and giving a goodnight speech which was: ‘Well we just had the best kind of adventure today which was an unexpected yet fun one, we walked all around the mall, we made new friends, saw many interesting things and even had some lunch and treats along the way.  And heck I even went for a ride and got a laugh out of things on the way home.  And we even got the best treats anyone could ever ask for and it’s all thanks to Rachel.  Goodnight to all of you from all of us here, hope you will return for more adventures soon.’

They all closed their eyes and drifted off to sleep as did Piff, upon drifting up to sleep they all had lovely dreams including Piff who dreamed of giving a special ceremony to the new members of the family,  Ozzy the bat dreamed of hanging out with spooky squishmallows and even performing a duet with Vlad the vampire while Sharon dreamed of being there at Ozzy’s squishmallow night concert and watching him sing.

And thus their adventure had ended but more are coming up, so stay tuned.
