A Magical Market Adventure With Rachel

Corey and Oats loved going on many adventures with Mel and all her pals including Piff, the popular fish who was a viral internet star and sensation -  and sometimes they’d go to markets to find cheap second hand things,  these adventures would often take place on sundays because that is when they would be operational, every Sunday.  And our favorite duo knew that there was going to be something special each time.

And last Sunday was definitely extra special for them, you see..for months now the duo had been wanting to go with Mel on another market visit to go and look for some items, and that morning they woke up extra early and smiled as they greeted Rachel,  Piff was in high spirits as he said hello to Rachel and had some breakfast with the gang.

Which was followed by the gang helping Mel get ready to shower as Rachel called Belinda to help take care of the house,  it was a day when she was on her own and she needed all the help she could get so she called Belinda and after a couple of hours Belinda woke up from her sleep and called back before heading all the way to the shower and getting all cleaned up before stopping for a bit.

After this they all got themselves ready to go to market and hopped in the floating van with their friend Rachel and they all were having a fun time talking,  a slight hiccup arrived when they arrived there and they found the market wasn’t on. ‘Oh it’s the wrong Sunday.’  ‘Yeah, the Smales market isn’t on this Sunday but on the 14th.’  They thought for a bit before choosing another place which was Brown’s Bay,  and soon a change in direction took place.

As the car headed all over and headed to Brown’s Bay and when they arrived there they jumped out of the car and walked around, ever since befriending Belinda Mel had picked up a love of going to second hand markets to find items she could not find anywhere else,  they looked around at all the books,  dvds, and items like sea-shells when Mel wandered into the toy area and found a packet of Happy Meal squishmallows.

She recognized these as the squishmallows that had come free with Happy Meals in May and June, she remembered how she unlucky she was to only have gotten two but now she saw a whole set of ones she was missing and she bought them,  the pack consisted of a duck, leopard, bat and pickle squishmallow.  The leopard was named Dyva,  the pickle was named Bentley,  the bat was named Ygora, and the duck was named Syndie.

The happy meal squishmallows were very happy that they were getting adopted and added to the family, and then another surprise came, Corey spotted a pair of yellow eyes and a Giantmicrobes tag. ‘Guys, look.  I found something.’ ‘What is it, another microbe?’  ‘Yeah, this is the second time i’ve seen Giantmicrobes in the wild before.’ ‘Oh yeah, that bloodsucking exhibition at the beginning of this year.’

Mel picked up the microbe which was a chickenpox microbe named Kevin and she adopted him, adding him to the family as they all walked around for a little bit more, when it was time to head out they hopped into the car and they headed all the way to Wairau Road,  of course this was their lunch spot.

When they arrived there the gang ordered a King Box from the Burger King drive-through and they ate in on their way home, as the car drove off all the way home and when they arrived home they let the new microbe wander around and get to know Corey and all the others, which was followed by a special mini adventure and induction ceremony for the squishmallows.

They had some lovely food for afternoon tea later followed by a lovely relaxing time together throughout the afternoon, and they topped the evening off with a relaxing dinner together and some games before Mel emailed Jill about their adventure which was followed by them playing games and Piff and Tangie going fishing and catching a lot of fish.

Followed by a game and a karaoke session and when it was time to wind down, they all relaxed as Piff and Tangie did some wholesome fish themed ASMR sessions and he looked on the computer to see had gained 299 subscribers which meant that the 300th subscriber special was inevitable and coming up,  so he had huge plans for it.

Which was followed by Corey putting on his bat pajamas and Oats putting on his princess night-gown and the gang brushing their teeth before Piff and Tangie did a second fishing trip which was a night time trip,  followed by Rachel giving a prize which was two fish decorations to put on the wall.

Piff initiated a special version of his closedown sequence which showed the pufferfish having a party with some squishmallows and doing a relaxation routine involving dancing before they all floated into a magical bedroom.  As they did so the background morphed from a night-time background into a night-time one as his clothing morphed into pajamas, as they all gathered into the bedroom and floated over to the bed, drifting off to sleep as the goodnight message appeared on screen.

Which was followed by Piff using magic to create a magical tunnel that transported him and the others all the way to the bedroom,  where he floated up in the air and over to the bed, where he landed and where he kissed Tangie before giving a goodnight speech which consisted of: ‘Sometimes we plan to do something or go somewhere but those plans end up not being executed due to a number of factors,  and sometimes that leads to turning out even better than how it turned out. And oh boy did we have a good time doing that today, but now it is time for us to rest and get ready to visit the land of dreams,  so goodnight to you all.’

Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams including Piff, who dreamed of the fun time he had today making new pals and also of his upcoming 300 subscriber celebration, and thus their adventure had ended but more are coming up.
