WB Reviews: My Girl.
Werebelushi:
Welcome back to Aykroyd-Mania. A word of warning for those who haven't seen this movie, this movie will pull at your heart-strings and won't let go. This movie will teach you about life and death, if you cannot cope with loss you might possibly break down in tears after watching this, this is 1991's My Girl. This movie is about a young girl named Vada who is coping with the loss of her mother and her father Harry Sultenfuss (Dan Aykroyd) works at a funeral so basically...she is used to death and is pretty much obsessed with it, but there's more to this movie than just 'Oh Dan Aykroyd's wife died' although this is the second Aykroyd related project i've seen in which his on-screen wife passed on (the first is My Stepmother Is An Alien followed by the shortlived sitcom Soul Man). But then again death seems to be a recurring theme with Aykroyd. Luckily though Harry manages to find himself the woman of his dreams in the form of the free spirited Shelley (Jamie Lee Curtis) - daaaamn, is Dan trying to make me jealous of him on purpose?
I seriously suspect that Dan is doing this to toy with me. And that one of those characters of his...*points to the Dan Aykroyd characters sitting around* is helping with that. Then again, this is the beginning of the THICC Aykroyd era and you know how much the lads and ladies simp over him.
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
See? You ARE jealous of Dan. You keep hiding it but I know you're jealous.
Werebelushi:
Don't you start mister. Besides..it's not like you're getting to me or anything, just because i'm reviewing Aykroyd movies with you and you happen to be a Were-Aykroyd doesn't mean i'm going into turn into him or wish that I was him.
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Oh but I think you are...
Werebelushi:
Huh? Is this one of your tricks? *his stomach gurgles loudly, he then sees pieces of his black fur falling out and the remaining pieces turning brown* My fur. Ugh...my stomach hurts. Even though I didn't eat anything bad. *he then sees his black button up shirt tightening as his chest and torso broaden, he already is naturally chubby so he's putting on a bit more weight* Hey..am I getting fatter?
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Actually you're just going Aykroydian.
Werebelushi:
You do realize that this show is the Werebelushi In The Shades, right? Were-Aykroyd just doesn't have the same ring to it. *he groans as his hands enlarge and his arms broaden, and gasps as his quills vanish* No, not my quills. You, fix this.
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
I wish I could but here's the thing, it cannot be stopped.
Werebelushi:
What? That doesn't seem right. *he feels the brown hairs that lightly coat his chest, he gasps..panting and examining it as develops towards his naval area, he squirms a little as his stomach enlarges a bit more, popping a few of the buttons of* Aah man! This totally isn't fair.
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Once you start going Aykroyd, you uhhh...can't go back-royd.
Werebelushi:
You just made that up. *he looks at his back which broadens, and now lacks his quills as his shoulders broaden* This is so wrong but why does it feel good? *his legs broaden as his rear inflates, giving him a THICC behind as his feet slowly shift, two of the toes on each foot taking on a sort of webbed appearance* This movie will tug at your heart-strings and make you have the feels, if you don't like tearjerkers you are not going to have a good time, but if you do, you'll love this. And if you love Dan Aykroyd or Jamie Lee, you'll love this even more. *he blushes as his height slowly grows up to 6'1 as his neckline alters and his long hair lightens and turns brown, his eyebrows turn from black to brown and become a bit less bushy but are still quite bushy*
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
You're coming out nicely especially for an Aykroyd like me.
Werebelushi:
An Aykroyd? Me? Nah, I am a Belushi, it's in the title of this show for pete's sake..a Were-Aykroyd doesn't suit me, they're so dorky and weird and bizarre and freakish and oddly sexy for some reason. Wait, did I oddly sexy? Nah, I can't be thinking that. You're doing this to me, you and your freaky were-Aykroyd powers. *he gulps as one of his eyes darkens to a brownish color while the other remains greenish, both eyes widen as his forehead grows and his nose broadens, an indent popping up in the middle as his features slowly become Aykroydian* Yes, yes, this is natural. No, it's not...*his features slowly morph into a perfect copy of Dan Aykroyd's features as his voice follows suit*
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Aaaaaaw, look at you. You're just like Dan.
Werebelushi:
*he feels his face* No i'm not...i'm still me, at least I think i'm me...my name is Matthias T.Radke, no wait...it's Daniel Edward Aykroyd. *he shakes his head* I'm a Werebelushi and I was born here in Oakendale, my name is Matthias. No, wait..i'm Canadian, my name is Dan Aykroyd. Ugh! Help me!
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Here, a hug will make things better. *he hugs his transforming friend, as his friend's transformation completes and he is now fully Aykroyd-like* Aaaaw, look how sexy you are, wish I had that rockin bod.
Werebelushi (as Dan Aykroyd):
What the? Eeew...*he examines himself in the mirror, seeing Aykroyd's reflection in the place of his own* Oh that's just great, now how am I going to do the rest of the show like this? Oh well, I suppose I could get used to this form. *he notices his voice sounds different, and it sounds very much like Dan's voice and has the accent too* Huh? So not only has my appearance changed into Aykroyd's but so has my voice and so have some parts of my personality and now I feel like babbling on about why I think aliens and ghosts are real like a total weirdo because that's who I am now but i'm oddly okay with it.
Matt/Were-Aykroyd:
Hey! I resent that.
Werebelushi (as Dan Aykroyd):
This movie as I mentioned above will make you get the feels, so be warned but you will leave the experience feeling like you have learned more about death itself than anyone on earth, so if you're looking for something to warm your heart and be your shoulder to cry on, try My Girl...it's definitely one of the Aykroyd classics.
