Regarding my awkward experimental years on Blogger, it was a time where I was trying to get over being banned fromm Amiright due to my childish behavior and threats against the admins and well since I had not discovered Deviantart yet I just settled for making up several fake accounts on blog, and the John Candy avatars I used for several of them that were described as resembling a child-like man were made with Photoshop and a morphing program. I admit that I did not have the easiest time finding my identity on the site to be hoenst so I tried out of stupid and outlandish things, from pretending I had a production company that could rival Pixar or Disney to even claiming i'm a broadway star who has appeared in tons of musics and of course the pretending to be John Candy thing. Which in itself was just experimental roleplay, but none of those ventures were truly me to be honest.
Most of these were just the fake Dr Music persona I came up with and me just trying to bring the character to other platforms, I do admit it did come across as quite extravagant claiming I was a scientist that could rival the top scientists in the industry but look at whois running Twitter/X now. Was it a bit extreme for me to claim I am my own characters, yes it was. And several of my old posts I am very ashamed of, the thing is with my post about Gaston in my 'tales of amusement' post was that this was during a specific phase in my life known as the 'Disney Villain' phase where I got into the Disney Villains line and Gaston still is one of my favorite villain but I was actually kind of shocked he got left out of Kingdom Hearts 2 and that's why I posted about him. Also for the record I respect Trudirose as a fanfic writer and since I used to be on the BatB forum before I very much uhhhb...forgot the details I used to register on there and stopped going on there, I definitely knew she resonated with me.
That being said..in today's era where almost every movie and character gets revionisit hot take and yes I have seen alot of the ones for Gaston that clearly do not get the point of the character, I am just going to say this, I like him out of all the villains because he's complex and doesn't start out evil right away and no I don't agree with the character's views.
