Oats and the Unicorn Princess.

It’s always a special occasion when a new member of the family is added to the cast, a new member of the family always goes through a ritual to discover their powers and is given their name such as the case of Princess Galatea. Galatea was a chubby female unicorn with pink fur but with distinctive patterns and markings on the insides of her eyes and on her hooves as well as a heart on her belly which lit up and was the source of her powers. From the moment he saw her, he knew she had to be a member of the family. How did he meet this unicorn you ask? Well it began in 2021 when he wanted to go on a unicorn hunt, but Mel told him and Corey they couldn’t because at the time it was during another lockdown.

But luckily Oats knew of a way to do so, using magic to conjure up a path-way that lead to a door which opened up and the duo were transported to a magical unicorn palace with unicorns that were just as adorable and pretty as he was, he whinnied as he explored the place, sniffing the flowers that were on display. Corey came across a portrait gallery where he saw a portrait of a mother unicorn and her foals, one of them looking rather fluffy and pinkish.

“Hey Oatsie…is that her?”

“I bet it must be her.”

Oats galloped around the palace until he came across a room filled with artwork, and that’s where he saw the unicorn princess..she was using her magic to draw pictures. And she saw Oats and smiled as she galloped over to him and whinnied.. ‘You’re the horse i’ve been wanting to see for a long time, I am Princess Galatea.’ ‘I am Oatsie, I will take care of you.’

Galatea saw Oats was a trustworthy horse and hugged him as she sang her song and he along with her. ‘Aaaaaw, who’s a good unicorn? You are.’ ‘I sure am. I want you to be my mommy, will you be my mommy?’ she asked, batting her eyelashes in a cute manner. ‘I sure will..come on, i’ll introduce you to Corey and i’ll show you how we have adventures.’

The unicorn princess whinnied as Oatsie carried her on his back and the two met up with Corey as they raced through a magical flower garden with ponies that had flower based powers, as he developed butterfly-like wings with a flower pattern on them. Galatea neighed happily as she discovered her power, making numerous patterns form on her body and even gained different funky colors in her mane.

Galatea bonded with Oatsie and through bonding she realized that this horse was the perfect mommy for her…she whinnied as she hugged him, she had found happiness. ‘I feel tingly, mommy…is this what happiness feels like?’ “Yes, that’s what happiness is.’ ‘Yaaaay, i’m a happy unicorn.’ Oats galloped over to Corey and along with Galatea, they all headed through a doorway where they arrived back in their house in Nile Road.

They arrived just in time for fun and games at the house too, they listened to music and played together as they hugged each-other. When Jeemo arrived they all had a wonderful time and listened to music and sang and danced. Later that afternoon and into the evening they all played together and Oats invited the microbes to a royal ceremony where he inducted Galatea into the family, complete with special magic training exercises to help her learn how to control her magic and also how to be a good adopted daughter to him. She grew into her role as Oats’s adopted daughter and to this day…she will always sing along with her ‘mommy’ and embrace who she is.
