The Kingswood Halloween Ball.

Halloween is that one special time of the year where you can roam around embracing your freaky side without fear of judgment and that is especially true for Corey and Oats, this duo were as unusual as they come, and these two were in for an extra spooky surprise. It was October 27th and Mel had offered to help her special friend with her koala costume, she asked Ysa to help apply makeup on her that turned her into a real humanoid koala, she was dressed in an all gray ensemble and her cute koala ears.

Meanwhile Corey dressed up as Sam from Trick R Treat while Oats put on a bow and princess dress and dressed as a princess. The duo had a lovely morning and afternoon prepping up for the halloween party that they had been invited to, also having fun playing Webkinz and having a karaoke sing-a-long, throughout the afternoon they had all sorts of fun.

Jeemo came and they all jammed and listened to music, they already had breakfast and lunch but they didn’t need dinner because they were going to have dinner at the ball which excited them. When it came for them to get ready for the party, Mel and Ysa helped Mel’s friend put on the furry boa that made the koala chest fur. Corey gathered up a few of his buddies to come along with them mainly Alcina and Z’Dar and a couple of koalas.

Mel put her shoes as did Corey and Oats and they headed over the garage where they saw a magical floating van, they hopped in the magical floating van which took them all over the city and to Northcote where they arrived at Kingswood, they saw everyone else parking their cars and getting out ready for the party as they waited.

Little Kenni the koala was with Corey and Oats as they entered the building, they saw lots and lots of guests in costumes and turning into what they were dressed up as including a few clowns, Batman, Joker, and a few other characters. They were taken to a special room where the party was taking place.

Corey walked around and as he did, he found himself morphing into Sam himself…he slowly took on Sam’s appearance but he didn’t shrink down in size or de-age or go through a gruesome agonizing transformation or have his insides replaced with seeds and pumpkin guts, and he kept his mind…even though he looked like Sam he was still Corey the huggable covid microbe. Corey (as Sam) sat down with Oats as they had pizza with Mel and her friends.

A slew of catchy halloween songs played for them to sing and dance along to and they had all sorts of fun. Corey jumped over to what appeared to be a skeleton with his hands on the wrong way around and missing a head. ‘Oh dear, looks like the Hessian got to this guy and his hands are on backwards.’ He quipped, chuckling at the joke.

Kenni the koala walked over to the skeleton and shook its hands, Corey laughed as the skeleton petted him…’Good little virus, good virus.’ ‘Aaaaw, he likes me.’ He looked over at a pumpkin decoration that was sentient and quipped…’A bit hollow isn’t he?’.

“Good one.”

Mel watched as she saw the other guests dancing and playing as she transformed into Ayana Hiroke as another female guest turned into Lisa Lisa from the first part of the anime the character she was turning into was from, she even saw two guys turning into Joseph Joestar and Ken Oyanagi respectively. She looked at Rhys who was undergoing a transformation of sorts, but unlike her and the other he was becoming a different Jojo character.

Rhys’s body was becoming a bit more toned as his shirt took on a lacey texture, making it look like the lacey top worn by a certain character as a stylish white suit with spots on it materialized on his body, his arms and legs lengthened but it didn’t seem painful, at least not to him. He grew to 5’10 as two gold straps popped up on his outfit as his pants also changed, as did his shoes. His neckline altered as his hair darkened, turning jet black. The gold straps on his outfit resembled zippers like you’d find on a coat.

The dots on his suit looked like spoon shaped symbols, which Corey was quick to pick up on as his hair took on a chin-length style with bangs in the front and braids going up to the top of it. His eyebrows thinned as his features became rather handsome and his eyes turned a deep shade of blue as he took on the appearance of Bruno Bucciati. His voice also deepened to sound like him. ‘Oh my…look how cool and deep my voice sounds.’ Rhys exclaimed to his friends.

“Did you see that?”

“Yeah, he turned into a Jojo character as did those other guys…and Mel.”

“That’s awesome.”

Oats trotted around and examined the scenery, after they had all pizza they had some treats and some cake for dessert and posed for some photos, they all were having the time of their lives. Corey cheered when someone who had become a ghostly version of Elvis Presley won Best Costume, and they all had a wonderful time.

They partied and had fun, taking photos next to the spooky display and having fun, and a couple of hours later it was time to go home but before they did…they were also given the Best Costume award along with Mel and her friend. When they left the halloween ball they said goodbye to all of their friends that they had made as they hopped back in the van and headed for home.

A couple of hours later they arrived back home at Nile Road, as the group all entered their home, took off their shoes and sat down as they returned to normal. Mel’s friend also turned back to normal thanks to Ysa but she never forgot how fun being a koala-person was.

Corey and Oats presented the prize they had won to their friends which were so yummy milk chocolates, they shared them with the other microbes and with Zara as they settled down for the evening and relaxed.

That night, they relaxed as they listened to music and they sent an email to Mel’s friend and associate Jill. After that they spent some time in their room relaxing and having fun.

When it was time for them to get ready for bed, Corey and Oats brushed their teeth and got into their night-clothes as did Mel. Mel invited the duo into bed as Corey brought a second microbe friend and a koala friend to snuggle up with as they drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams.

As they drifted off to sleep, the pegasus bed turned into a magnificent halloween themed kart as they raced off to Halloweentown to party with the citizens and they got to meet Jack Skellington and Sally. They knew that the festivities were only just beginning.

And so our story comes to an end, but the adventures do not, our microbial friend and Oats will be going on more adventures with the 2022 Halloween Spooktacular, the Canadian Aykroyd Massacre, Visit to the Horror Museum, and Corey and Oats’s Galactic Journey. And so from all of us to you, happy halloween to you all even if the month of October is over, it doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun.
