TftW: Shreckengeist in New York
(This is a take on the classic Legend of Sleepy Hollow, using elements of the NBC series Grimm and features a Wesen inspired by The Hessian from Tim Burton's version of the tale. There are two Hessian inspired Wesen, one of which is Chris Walken and the other is my new friend Eliza)

It was all hallow's eve in New York, which meant it was the time to dress up in scary costumes and watch horror movies.
But not for Detective Jeremy Rutger, he was a Grimm and this was the time when Wesen were allowed to come out and woge without fear of being attacked.
This time it was different, he had been called to solve a rather different Wesen related case.
Over the past few weeknights, a series of mysterious deaths had been reported, each of the victims had their heads sliced off and their blood drained out. Upon hours of research, Jeremy found that these were caused by a type of Wesen known as the Shreckengeists.
Shreckengeists were a very sinister and bloodthirsty type of Wesen that served as the inspiration behind the Headless Horseman, he knew that even the smallest drop of human blood would drive them into a frenzy.
That night after he was done finishing his research he consulted one of his friends, Professor Greg Amerdale.
"Professor...I've come to ask you about the Shreckengeist attacks that have been happening recently."
"A Shreckengeist? Oh no....don't tell me...."
Greg started panicking and as he did, he started to woge - growing thick grey fur except around his lower chair and his ears became koala-like as his nose turned black.
He had woged into his Wesen form, which was a Beutelbar (koala-like Wesen).
"Greg....what is it?"
"A young man named by the name of Dr Ichabod Crane II ran into a Shreckengeist once...the Shreckengeist almost killed him."
"Are they dangerous?"
"Yes...very."
"I hear that even the smallest drop of blood can drive these creatures into a frenzy...even anything that reminds them off blood can trigger off their instincts and make them go berserk like that."
"Yes....so you better be on your toes...and watch your heads."
"Right."
Detective Rutger ran off and headed towards a bar known as the Hessian's Lair, he sat down to have a beer when he noticed two people having a disccussion.
The first person was actor Christopher Walken and the other was a young woman named Eliza.
"Ummm...hello there. I hear you two may have some information about the attacks that happened last night."
"That depends...who wants to know?"
"I'm Detective Jeremy Rutger...and i'm a.."
Chris turned to him and snarled slightly as skin grew paler and his already spiked up hair spiked more and became messier and turned jet black, as his fingernails sharpened, his teeth also sharpened and lengthened, resembling fangs. He was in his Woged state.
"...I know what you are, you're a Grimm."
"Yes...and you're a...Shreckengeist."
"Whatever you do, Chris...don't hurt me or anyone else here. I don't want anyones blood on my hands here."
"You should know that my kind has never.. had an sort of rivalry with Grimms. I respect you and all the hard work you do."
"You do?"
"Yes."
He nodded and turned back to normal, but not before running off with Eliza and heading outside.
"Hey...where did he go?"
"That way!"
Detective Rutger and his partner ran out of the bar and followed Chris and Eliza over to a darkened alleyway.
There once they got there, they saw Chris snarling at a few people in a ferocious manner - and saw Eliza next to him.
"Aaaaawr!"
"Stop...Walken, what are you dong?"
"I am just frightening off the attackers."
"You're not trying to kill them are you?"
"No...you've got me all wrong. I'm just protecting Eliza...i'm only protecting her. I mean no harm!"
"But all the evidence leads to you.."
"I did not attack anyone or drain their blood or sever their heads. If I did..it was only because of my nature."
"Walken..if this was one of your movie roles you'd probably kill us right now."
"Aaaawrrr...what? No...I wouldn't...please believe me!"
Chris started panicking slightly and as he did his skin turned paler and his already spikey hair spiked up even more and turned black, dark makeup appeared around his eyes as his teeth lengthtened and sharpened - his fingernails also sharpened as well.
"Walken, please calm down."
"I didn't do any of this..believe me."
"I know...you were just projecting her.."
He de-woged after calming down and turned to face the detective and his partner, he explained to them everything he knew about the attacks of the Shreckengeist that had hapepened that night.
"So now you see...it wasn't me who did those things..there is another Shreckengeist around on the prowl."
"Another?"
"Yes..."
Eliza turned to the detective and as she did, her already pale skin got paler and her eyes became slighty sunken as her teeth lengthened and sharpened, she growled in satisfication as did Chris.
"Thank you for understanding."
"No problem..I maybe a Grimm but i'm a good Grimm.."
"You certainly are!"
With that Eliza de-woged and she and Chris headed back home, but the two of them did become valuable allies later on.
As for what happened later, the Shreckengeist that had been attacking the previous night was eventually found out.
Remember, if you are a Wesen, you don't always have to be afraid of a Grimm - you can be friends with one too
