Piff VS The Censorship Issue

NOTE: This is a story that mirrors and parodies real online drama but not just specifically around my fictional self but in general as it also lampoons negative criticism and people who just simply don’t get that fiction and reality are not the same thing.  This is mostly focused on fictional villains from the Vyond universe including brand new villains added to the universe of these stories.  Characters like Karen Mckarenson,  Alan Huntington, etc are all Vyond antagonists that have appeared in these stories before.

Everyone’s favorite duo known as Corey and Oats were known for doing many adventures both online and in the world around them and they were always there to support their friends, and they knew that sometimes in the online world there were people who took things a bit too seriously and acted like that even having a supposedly harmless episode about something they found to be disturbing meant that the creator should be cancelled or in jail.

And Piff was no stranger to that, you see under his Deviantart City citizen profile i.e EmperorPufferfish,  he would write fics based on his own adventures depicting himself as a hero and facing the Alanastiums and other Vyond antagonists to teach them a lesson,  in one story he even wrote that the troublemaker Violy got transformed into an older woman, specifically an older fish-woman and this got complains from the Alanastiums and the Hyperconservate Christian Prick Squad because the fic supposedly promoted negative stereotypes of female characters  and contained ‘revenge fic’ elements.  Now whenever the term ‘revenge fic’ was used in adventures like this, it was a joke,  not to be taken seriously, but whoever some people did take it as ‘Piff really does hate the Alanastiums.’  ‘Piff deserves to be in prison’, etc.

Piff’s so called revenge fic episodes were parodies after all and made to parody what were often called ‘revenge fics’ in fanfiction and also because much like with Bonzi’s Storytime With Bonzi segments,  he would just be going after troublemakers exclusively in the fictional online universes, specifically Vyond and Youtube,  he would not have to worry about censorship issues, and even made a running joke of this with a fake warning screen to warn others with sensitive views that it’s a battle scene,  of course Alan Huntington thought it would be a good idea to make fun of Piff and also of Mel by putting Mel’s head on the body of the Predator monster from the Alien and Predator franchises,  labelling her and Piff as ‘bad villains and movie monsters that need to be put to be put behind bars’.

He had to censor the ‘Piffy the Monster Slayer’  episode of his adventures (even though he didn’t want to because his twin and best friend Suku wrote that episode for him based on a comic he made, and he didn’t want to hurt his feelings) and scrap the original villains which were a parody villainess who was a Freakendope queen named Narrak and her servant Calvin and replace them with other villain choices and after going through several different villain choices he settled for The Mask because of the BrainiacAdam video about the ‘Carreyvirus Pandemic’  which in turn inspired Mel’s take on the concept with the Honey Monster and the Sugar Puffs cereal  -  because a fictional community known as the Freakendope community (a community focused on bad parodies of what they thought werecreatures were supposed to be that were found out to be cultists) complained about characters of their species being labelled as antagonists and they acted like they were innocent when they weren’t, but said villains were replaced with another selection of villains from Piff,  Piff had to also censor a whole episode that was supposed to be a direct all-out (albeit exaggerated and chaotic) parody on the freakendope community in general but that along with Calvin getting his own storyline got scrapped due to complaints and so he thought of doing it just to make fun of someone who made bad werecreature movies on Youtube instead.

Mel even had to deal with a censorship issue when the original episode where they battled the former villain Doctor 4-Double-Dee from a fictional video game titled ‘4-D’s House of Weirdness’ when fans of the game complained about it being a revenge heavy episode, when the episode very much was changed to be a redemption story for said character and the character was changed to be a horror themed influencer.   One episode that was originally supposed to be based around a Tales from The Crypt villain, specifically Ezra Thornberry from the episode ‘Fitting Punishment’ getting turned into a Caucasian woman got complaints from The League of Entitled Karens for supposedly vilifying a character of color when the character was a villain and it was a well deserved punishment in the style of the show.

Piff hated having to change the episodes just because of these censorship issues and one day he decided to go  with his friends into the land of Vyond to sort out this problem, he opened up a portal in the middle of the wall with all his friends and they jumped through it and arrived through the other end in Vyond City,  when they did so all the friends looked around and they saw that the Alanastiums were all complaining about Piff’s latest stories. ‘These are all lies and are clearly directed at us.’  ‘These are parodies and besides you guys are villains, nobody is ever going to complain that a bunch of villains is getting made fun of by someone like me.  You did so much bad things to the Adamantiums and it’s something you deserve. You see if these were like revenge fiction in real life they would be a lot more brutal and definitely would not be able to show to Jill or family audiences in general.  Since these are satire and I am going after actual troublemakers from this universe.’

He used some magic to turn Constance Cauldron into all sorts of funny things including a squishmallow,  a koala snackle holding a Caramello koala bar,  a beanie baby, and even into a funny onion headed scarecrow…why onions, because Piff loved onions, that’s why.  There’s no reason why Piff loves turning trouble-makers into onion-headed living scarecrows, he just really loves onions and thinks they are funny.  There’s no deep reason behind it, no explanation apart from Piff saw onions at a supermarket and thought of them as comical in a cute way,  no reason to transform someone into an onion head scarecrow,  no ‘he took a joke this character made too seriously’ reason,  no ‘he did it for a petty reason’ reason,  not even revenge related reasons - just for random Piff humor reasons.

Which was followed by him demonstrating what his story about the Alanastiums and the Hyperconservative Christian Prick squad was like, depicting humorous elements that were played for laughs like the scene of the Alanastium’s video footage which they used to lambast Adam being replaced with footage of Piff dancing to I’m Too Sexy while wearing coral print underwear.  He used some magic to transform Karen Mckarenson and Bessie Thatcher into funny fish-people that were the same species as Tangie and he danced around, explaining that because they were villains no one would likely ever complain about him vilifying them,  and that satire is a form of comedy.  

He even explained that he could use some of his chaotic fourth wall breaking abilities to hack into bad fanfics and improve them and even that he had improved Lem’s transformation torture episodes by making it so the character that was meant to represent the reader got a happy ending instead of the bad endings,  and that it was all part of him helping others.

The gang had lunch followed by some snacks and afternoon tea an hour later as Piff smiled, defeating the Mask in a chaotic comedy fight,  which was followed by a trip to the Vyond City arcade before deciding to head home as Piff opened up a portal which took the gang all the way back home to Nile Road.

When they arrived back at Nile Road they played games before getting ready for dinner and Piff made Japanese food for them all to eat,  after dinner Mel emailed Jill about their adventure followed by a fun game session and playing games and having a karaoke session as Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish.

Which was followed by a relaxation session as they did wholesome relaxation activities and even had an ASMR session followed by Piff and Tangie doing Tangie’s bathbomb scent guessing game before Oats put on his princess pajamas and Corey put on his bat pajamas and they all got ready for bed and brushed their teeth.

Piff initiated the closedown sequence which this time featured the animated pufferfish in the land of Vyond battling a sleep demon resembling the zuni doll from Trilogy of Terror as the background transitioned into a night-time one and his clothes transformed into pajamas before floating into bed and brushing his teeth, yawning as the goodnight message appeared on screen.

He then floated into the bedroom and kissed Tangie before giving the goodnight speech which was: ‘We are all take things that aren’t supposed to be taken seriously well seriously sometimes and sometimes we just need to learn that when something in a movie, tv show, book, comic or game upsets or offends us or scares us -  is whatever it is -  it isn’t real and can’t hurt you.  Sometimes we just need to learn to laugh at ourselves and that is what we learned today, and now it is time for us to go to bed.  Goodnight to all of you.’

Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams including Piff, who dreamed of his own Vyond adventure where he was the star and thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up,  so stay tuned.

Thank you all for reading and enjoying this story, this story was my way of poking fun of how sometimes things are blown way out of proportion and how things that aren’t a big deal are made a big deal out of and of course what better way to do so than with characters from the Vyond universe,  because Vyond is known for having a community that tends to blow almost every little thing out of proportion and also this story uses Piff to do it as well because hey using a funny fish to make fun of a stupid situation is perfect and let’s face it, we all need lighthearted and after last month’s episodes getting the censored and edited treatment,  I thought you know this year will end on a triumphant happy note so here we go.
