Jahna’s Departure

Corey and Oats went on many adventures together as a duo and with all their friends including Piff and a big part of their adventures was the staff at Nile Road that helped arrange the adventures and one staff member who Mel definitely gelled with was Jahna,  who shared her love of halloween and costumes and was a master makeup artist.  And of course it was thanks to her that the gang had met Jahna the giraffe snackle who was apart of their team.

Unfortunately now the time was most definitely over for their fun times with her as Jahna announced her resignation several months prior and announced she was moving back to her home of Palmerston North, and now the time had come for her departure and the end of her part of the Nile Road saga.  That day after breakfast and before morning tea the group of friends used some magic and summoned Jahna as they presented her with some presents and some magic from the bedbox.

‘With this bedbox magic you can go anywhere you want to.’ ‘Thank you guys.’  ‘No problem, you mean a lot to us and we are all going to miss you.’ Piff responded as he hugged Jahna and he made some treats for morning tea, before they had a magical adventure together.  They all opened up a portal and jumped through it,  it took them to all sorts of places like the National Aquarium of New Zealand, Kelly Tarlton’s, the Auckland Museum and even to Glenfield Mall.

Followed by them all having lunch and playing games together as Jahna the giraffe hugged her human namesake.  ‘I am going to miss you, twinsie.  I hope that you will make many new friends on your new adventures. And don’t worry i’m going to carry on the legacy.’  ‘That’s my girl.’  

They all went on all sorts of magical adventures together as Piff recounted all the moments they had with her before having some snacks and he told her that he was going to miss but to stay tuned to his online adventures on Tiktok and Youtube, and he told her a bit of news that he was really excited about.  ‘Jahna, I am delighted to announce I am getting married to Tangie,  who is the fish of my dreams.  No more messing around for this fish,  i’ve got Tangie as my official girlfriend and now as my future wife.  She is going to be so happy.’  ‘About time you two got hitched, you had been together for 2 years now.’

‘Oh yes we have and we’re both going to have the best fishy wedding ever.’  ‘When will the wedding be?’ ‘In the very start of this coming year.’  ‘Well let me know how it goes, I am very happy for you.’

‘Sure,  I hope you enjoy yourself in your new adventures.’  They had some afternoon tea before going all the way back to Nile Road for a relaxation time and some games, everyone gave Jahna a hug before Piff got dinner ready,  he made sushi for everyone and after dinner they all played together.

Jahna said goodbye to the gang as she gave Mel a card and Jahna the giraffe smiled…’See ya on the flipside, twinsie. I hope to post more adventures for you to see someday.’   Which was followed by Mel emailing Jill about their adventure and they all gathered together as they played games, Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish.

Followed by a karaoke session and some games before Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his pink night-gown as they all brushed their teeth, Piff initiated the closedown sequence featuring the animated pufferfish in a claymation world floating through an underwater dreamscape and collecting power-ups like in a video game before going into a tunnel,  at the end of the tunnel was an underwater themed bedroom as the background shifted from day to night and the pufferfish’s clothes morphed into pajamas. 

The pufferfish yawned and brushed his teeth as the goodnight message appeared on screen,  Piff floated into bed and kissed Tangie before giving the goodnight speech which was: ‘Well it’s getting close to the end of the year and also another ending of a saga for an ally of us,  Jahna the human friend of Mel is leaving to head back home so she can carry on her adventures there but just because one adventure is over doesn’t mean more aren’t coming.  So goodnight everyone,  have sweet dreams.’

Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams including Piff,  who dreamed of what new adventures Jahna might get up to in the future, as Jahna the giraffe smiled and thought to herself…’Wherever she goes, she will have a great time.’

And thus their adventure had ended but more are coming up.
