Honestly this is pathetic and sad, and also if a forum thread or discussion that is supposedly about him hasn't had any activity since a few years ago or even before then, why keep it up, can't you just ask the admin to close the damn thing? I mean even if the admin is a prick, i'm sure they'd be able to close it down for you.
