‘Mel Finally Latches Out: A Corey and Oats Creepypasta’

NOTE: The following is a Lost Episode/Creepypasta parody story that shows what happens if Mel was pushed too far,  it’s made to be dark and disturbing and creepy.

Sometimes we all have to latch out if we have pushed too far,  sometimes it gets too hard to keep quiet about it and that’s when the inner monster comes out,  and with Mel those incidents become a full blown dark episode that otherwise ruins a good run of episodes, this particular lost episode in question is another one of those ‘Corey and Oats’ lost episodes that spewed forth from the grim-dark dimension.

It all began with the gang in the lounge at Nile Road looking at the episode gallery when Piff came across another lost episode that was in the lost episode gallery…an episode called ‘Mel Finally Latches Out’.   ‘Isn’t it odd that we see episodes of our adventures in this gallery even if they aren’t real episodes?’  ‘Or that these episodes end up being found to begin with? I mean what’s the point of lost episodes being called lost episodes if anyone can find them?’

Piff looked at the episode with the gang, the episode played out like a typical episode of Corey and Oats’s adventures with it being seemingly normal at first with the gang all hanging around and relaxing when Rachel (the owner of Peanut the pufferfish) brought in a dog.  ‘What on earth are you doing?’   Mel exclaimed in the episode, uncharacteristically acting moody and darker than she normally would.  ‘It’s a dog. I brought her because Ozgur likes dogs.’   ‘Oh really? You brought in that disgusting  flea ridden menace to society?’  ‘Just because you don’t like dogs doesn’t mean others should miss out.’  ‘But dog owners are evil and entitled.’

Oats was shocked that Mel in the episode was saying such a thing about an animal as he knew Mel would not normally act like that…’But mommy, how can you say dogs are very bad and evil?  You love all animals, including horses and fish.’ and could  not believe that were being sad,  and how out of character Mel and Rachel were both acting.  ‘I know these are not real, but they are so disturbing.’  ‘These are just fake lost episodes made to scare us.’

Piff and Corey comforted Oats as the rest of the episode played,  showing Mel’s tirade against dogs and very much making it seem like Mel was acting antagonistic in the episode on purpose, before Rachel leaned forward in the episode and touched Mel - causing Mel in the episode to snarl at her and lash out…’YOU! YOU TOXIC LITTLE ENABLER.  YOU ENABLE THAT AGGRESSIVE AND EVIL PEST INTO OUR HOME.  DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS ARE EVIL AND HORRIBLE!’

Oats closed his eyes as he saw Mel in the episode roaring and snarling as she grabbed Rachel’s dog by the leg and snapped the dog’s right hind-paw off.  ‘NEXT TIME, KEEP YOUR FLEA FACTORY UNDER CONTROL!’  she screamed as she ran off crying into her room, screaming, yowling, and letting off the most horrific sounding cries ever.

Corey saw the events of the episode continuing, watching closely as Mel in the episode cried in her room,  sobbing…’It’s no fair, even when I DO get there first to use the shower in the morning, it’s still not warm enough. And why is Rachel so heartless to me?  She keeps lashing out when I try to defend myself!  How can she be such a horrible person?  Bringing a dog into the house? Doesn’t she know I hate them?’

Mel in the episode broke down in tears, and a mysterious demon voice started speaking to her…’Oh it’s just not fair,  isn’t it?  You try to defend yourself and your actions but they don’t listen to you. It’s like they don’t take you seriously, you try so hard but yet they don’t listen to you at all.’  ‘Who are you?’   ‘Why don’t you know me,  Mel?  It’s me, Him.’

She turned around and she saw the Powerpuff Girls villain Him, speaking her through Rachel’s pufferfish Peanut. ‘Him? How did you know?  You aren’t supposed to be here.’   ‘Oh but I am supposed to be here and your pufferfish friend Peanut is the PERFECT HOST for me to use to help you.’   Peanut floated over to Mel in the episode as his eyes glowed and he spoke with Him’s voice.   ‘But I am not supposed to let a villain help me.’  ‘I know rules can be a pain and I know that it can be hard for you to fight back without being seen as the demon in the eyes of your attackers but if you trust meeeee I can make you feel better!’

Peanut looked over at Mel in the episode, floating as a dark aura surrounded the area….’I do not understand how unfair it can be sometimes. It’s not my fault we only have one working shower, it’s not my fault.’  ‘It’s never your fault but they act like it is and that’s NOT NICE at all, you deserve to be heard, not to be tossed aside.’  ‘What do you mean?’

‘Oh I can give you exactly what you need.’  Oats felt disturbed as he what was going on in the episode….’Mommy, why would you trust a villain?  And this isn’t just any old villain either, this is Him,  the most powerful villain in the entire rogues gallery of the Powerpuff Girls, he’s known for being able to manipulate anyone.’  ‘Yeah, and look what he did to Peanut here,  he possessed him,  how can you trust him when he has taken over Piff’s body?’

In the episode the possessed Peanut chuckled sinisterly as he told Mel of how she could get back at Rachel and at all of those that had wronged her, speaking in Him’s signature falsetto voice as he manipulated her with dark magic,  which caused Mel to levitate and glow as her eyes glowed and a demonic force took over her as well,  and it was one that gave her the abilities and traits of Freddy Krueger.

The now possessed Mel in the episode found herself developing scars resembles Freddy’s signature burned face scars as she gained an outfit patterned with his signature sweater stripes and a claw glove just like his,  she cackled manically as she began to go and exact her dark revenge,  Oats was feeling incredibly uneasy as he saw the episode playing out, he screamed and cried.

Possessed!Mel crept around the corner and waited until Rachel and her dog were both asleep and then that’s when she worked her dark magic,  as Rachel began to have a dream about spending a cozy time with the dog and playing with it,  only for the background to warp and distort as Mel hissed…’Here doggy doggy, Mel’s got a nice treat for you’,  beckoning the dog to follow her and the dog followed Mel’s call as she reached out towards the dog, running her fingers through the dog’s fur before snapping the dog’s spine with inhuman strength and shearing all the fur off and ripping out the dog’s guts.  ‘That’s the problem with dogs, they’ve got no guts!’  she laughed evilly, speaking in a voice that sounded exactly like Freddy’s voice.

In the dream turned nightmare Rachel screamed as her dog whimpered, blood dripping all over the floor as Mel laughed manically,  the now severely slaughted dog whimpering as if it was in constant pain before dying at her feet,  she screamed and headed towards the staff bathroom in hopes of hiding, only for the walls of the bathroom to bleed and for the shower head to turn snake-like and wrap her up.  ‘Eeeep! Let go of me!’  ‘That’s the problem with you sometimes Rachey, you’re always too wrapped up in your own world to listen to me, and now your world is MY WORLD now!’  

Possessed!Mel’s scarred demonic face emerged from out of the mirror, mocking Rachel…’Mel, why are you doing this to me?  I’ve done everything for you,  i’ve arranged so much.’  ‘Oh you mean like not listening to me when I try to defend myself and telling me i’m rude when i’m trying to get you to listen to me?  Well I think it’s time something else should be arranged for you, your funeral.’  She laughed as the shower turned on by itself, the water turning from lukewarm to icy cold within a couple of minutes, some of the splashes of water even becoming sharp like blades as Rachel was forced into the shower.

‘Nothing like a nice shower before a funeral, right Rachey?’  Possessed!Mel laughed as the shower’s water got colder and colder as piercing crystalline flakes burst through the curtains and stabbed Rachel,  causing her to fall down on the floor and bleed onto it,  causing the water to turn blood red,  she grabbed Rachel and slammed her against the sharp water waves of the shower,  causing her to shatter into pieces in visceral manner.  ‘That was always the problem with you,  you always fall to pieces at the slightest change in routine and now you are literally in pieces.  Also, how was THAT for a cold shower?’  

Luckily of course this was a fake lost episode and not real,  Piff knew Mel would never kill off the staff or anyone she considered a valuable ally and that she was under the influence of ‘Him’ in this lost episode, Oats couldn’t bear to watch as he saw Possessed!Mel’s rampage on screen, it horrified him.  ‘Rachel, are you okay?’  the fellow staff members in the episode asked, as Possessed!Mel who had shapeshifted into Rachel was standing there with the shower head, licking the blood off of it.  ‘Why i’m just fine.’  ‘We heard screaming.’  ‘Oh I was just having trouble cleaning but it’s alright now.’

Possessed!Mel - as Rachel, smirked as she got the other staff members to come closer, beckoning them to come towards her before grabbing the others and slaughtering them, Oats screamed as he saw this and he broke down in tears as he tried to get the episode’s imagery out of his head.   Mel looked at the episode’s ending which featured all of the Nile Road staff also having dead while the possessed version of herself in the episode smirked evilly as she said…’It was necessary, it was necessary to end her reign and I was the one to do it, and now there is a new regime and I am in charge now.’   As the episode ended and the credits rolled, it was clear that Mel couldn’t take it anymore….’Guys listen, I would never turn against you and I would never act out against the staff,  because the last thing I want is a multitude of incident reports.  But i’m just going to say this, this lost episode we have found, is too much…I cannot do anything.’

‘Don’t be like that.’  Oats retorted.  ‘Yeah you are our friend.’  Mel sobbed as she reached for a knife and used it to cut open a hole in her stomach, slicing it open and spilling her guts all over the floor as blood all spilled out onto the bedroom floor,  spelling out a message that said ‘It’s over’,  which made everyone cry.

The gang all looked at Mel as she fell onto the ground,  laying in the blood that was on the floor…’What are we supposed to do now?  We cannot carry on this adventure without Mel.’ ‘She’s deceased, unfortunately.’   ‘How do you even know that,  well all this is a trick.’  ‘Maybe it’s real this time.’

‘You guys worry too much about this. I mean how many times does Mel pull this sort of dark episode on us?  Quite a bit and we all know that it gets better in the end.’  ‘Gee, I hope it does because I don’t want to see this any more.’   The gang all started packing up and leaving as the end credits started rolling,  as the sad version of the Corey and Oats theme song played.

Piff watch as he saw the gang all heading out and leaving except for him, Tangie, Aiyido, Pikachu and some others -  and he sighed as the end credits played, but just when the credits were about to end -  the credits all played backwards and reversed as well as just what happened to Mel.  As a note appeared next to Hyacinth that read…’I am not really leaving, this was a test, Mel is still here.’

‘Mel is still here?’  ‘Yes, this must be some kind of clue.’  After they all had afternoon tea they began to spot some clues all around the house and they all had arrived in Mel’s bedroom, upon entering the bedroom Piff looked at what appeared to be another clue,  he pressed a button of sorts as the final clue revealed itself.

Oats looked scared as he saw what appeared to be a man dressed in a black gothic outfit walking towards them…’Well done, you have found the clues. But are you sure you’re ready to find out?’  ‘Yes, we are.’  ‘Well then, I think you have earned this..’  The man gave the gang some magical rewards before activating a button on his cloak,  which made him open up and morph - revealing he had been Mel the entire time.

‘Mel?’  ‘Why yes it’s me. I made this disguise using Morph FX AI.  And of course I  used Doppelganger FX AI to make my own clone.’   ‘But what about the episode?  I saw you have a breakdown because of the episode.’   ‘If there’s one thing I know about these episodes, it’s that they are made by demons in the grim-dark dimension.  And they prey on your worst fears in order to manipulate you.’

Piff jumped into Mel’s arms and hugged her as he was glad Mel would never do what she did in the lost episode, he then decided to help her get rid of the episode by using a spell to exorcise it,  making it disappear completely.  ‘There we go.’  Peanut looked over at Piff.  ‘Was I really acting like that in that lost episode?’  ‘No my pufferfish pal, that was part of Him taking over your body.’  ‘Oh yeah you told me about that villain.’

Which was followed by the gang all having dinner together before Mel emailed Jill about the adventure and Piff and Tangie going fishing and catching some fish before relaxing and playing games together and having a karaoke session.

After their fun session had ended Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his princess nightgown as Piff and Tangie did a relaxation session where they did their favorite relaxation activities including ASMR,  bathbomb sniffing, imagination sessions and ‘guess the bathbomb scent’,  as the gang all brushed their teeth. Piff activated the closedown sequence featuring the animated fish couple going into a magical fish themed bedroom as the background shifted from day to night as their clothes morphed into night clothes and the goodnight message appeared on screen.

Piff then floated into bed and kissed Tangie and gave the goodnight speech which was: ‘Well that was quite a strange and bizarre adventure we had and i’m glad it will never happen, because she loves all of us.  Goodnight everyone.’

Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep including Piff and they all had sweet dreams, and thus their adventure had ended but more are coming up so stay tuned.
