Locked Out Again

Corey and Oats went on many adventures together as a duo along with Piff and Tangie and all the family members and sometimes unfortunately this would be experiences they did not want to do but had to anyway and being locked out of online domains in the virtual world was one such thing and Mel of course hated this.

It started off seemingly normal with the gang all playing together when Mel was trying to communicate and get into her friends via Discordia’s chat dominion only to get locked out.  ‘This system thinks you are a bot, please verify.’  ‘I HAVE VERIFIED, YOU STUPID PIECE OF DIGITAL FECES!’  ‘Please verify with your phone number?’  ‘Phone number? Phone number? I DON’T HAVE A PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE A PHONE, WHO THE HELL THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA SHOULD BE GIVEN THE IDIOT OF THE YEAR AWARD!’

She screamed and kicked at Hyacinth, slamming her and pushing her and causing her to buzz…’Ugh that stupid buzzing noise,  honestly what the freaking hell is wrong with you?’   ‘I didn’t mean to.’  ‘You didn’t mean to? Bullheckey  all you do is make that buzzing noise for no reason at night and I don’t know what the bull-speckly is wrong with you.’  ‘Don’t do this.’

“Mommy please calm down.”

“I am trying Oatsie but it’s hard to.”

“I know Hyacinth can be a problem but she’s trying.”

“I don’t care, Discordia’s security system sucks.”

Mel screamed as she smacked Hyacinth…’I know I should be gentle with you but it’s hard to spit like this happens every flipping day, you’re a bad computer companion sometimes, why couldn’t you be more like Lenora?’, she smacked Hyacinth several times and made her cry.  ‘Screw it i’m going to help my owner.’  Piff exclaimed.

Piff used magic to open up a portal in the middle of the wall and they all jumped through the portal and arrived in the online world selection menu area before picking Discordia,  they all jumped through the portal and arrived in Discordia.  ‘Look I don’t want to do a freaking 4 part mini-series about being locked out.  Get to the bottom of this, end it and make sure those idiots get what they deserve, got it?’   ‘Oh okay we can do that.’

Mel looked around and she came across what appeared to be the Discordia Help Central base but just as she was about to enter, two Insecurity Bot Drones emerged….’You are trespassing, please enter phone verification.’  ‘PHONE VERIFICATION? FOR PETE’S SAKE I’M MEL,I’M NOT A BOT  I’M NOT A TRESSPASSER!’

The bot drones did not listen to her as they charged towards her trying to capture her because they thought she was a bot. ‘Ugh what is with phone verification being needed for everything? I hate phones. I understand they can be useful for emergencies but phone verification is annoying,  please end this.’    

Mel screamed as she roared and ripped out of her clothes,  bulking up and growing as two crooked demon-like horns grew out of her head,  she crushed the security bot drones with her arms and bashed them before roaring and using dark magic to turn every phone user’s phone into piles of ash.  ‘Let’s see you try to get in now.’

‘Noooo don’t do this Mel.’  Piff exclaimed as he jumped in the way,  which was followed by him using some magic to knock Mel out before he used a spell to revert back to normal.  When Mel awoke, she was back to herself…’Huh? What did I do?’ ‘You rampaged in that help central building and turned people’s phones to ashes, and crashed security guard drones.  I am pretty sure you must have caused a few casualties.’

‘Casualities?’   ‘Yes I am afraid so.’   ‘I am sorry I did that but what was I supposed to do if I cannot get into Discordia just to chat with my friends, what can I do?’ ‘Don’t be like that.’  ‘I’m very sorry we have to keep doing these dark and depressing episodes but sometimes you know it happens and hey don’t worry Piff, you will get your happy episode.’

‘’Nothing will do and if I cannot fix it, then I guess I should leave.’  Mel screamed as she reached herself chest and poured her heart out in a gory fashion, screaming and moaning as if she was putting on an elaborate performance where her own guts spilled over her outfit,  she collapsed and then died.  ‘Noooooooooooooo we cannot do this again, we cannot do this again.’  ‘Why is it everytime we do a dark episode Mel thinks it’s her fault and does this elaborate fake death scene?’

Piff sighed as the sad ending credits popped up and everyone started crying as Mel’s body was transferred into a casket,  and everyone started leaving and going their own way,  the end credits playing a sad version of the Corey and Oats theme tune played over the credits,  when the credits stopped and ended Piff looked at the camera with a smile and said…’Gotcha again! Did you honestly really think we would give this story such a dark ending? Nope,  this is another tactic to get more views.’

Piff smiled as he reversed the end credits and reversed the rest of the scenes including Mel’s mutation and death scene,  of course this wasn’t really a death scene, this was a reinaction of sorts.  ‘What you just saw was not a real death scene, if I really was dying, I would have just come back to life.’  ‘And no innocent people were hurt either.’  ‘Folks what you saw in this episode was pure fiction and not reality,  I know some people might get their pants in a bunch over this and act like this was some heinous act of revenge against Discordia’s mod police force and that it was made to portray them as a group of horrible people but this is just fiction,  a lot of these stories that have dark or questionable or NSFW content are fictional,  and not real.’

‘So please save your complaints for something serious.’  Mel casually explained to the head Discordia Mod Police Officer that she did not mean to get locked out as they all had some snacks and they all had lunch before the police officer unlocked her Discordia citizen profile.   ‘There we go, sorry for the misunderstanding.’  ‘It’s no trouble at all, I just wanted to get back in to talk to my friends.’  ‘Well you’re all clear.’

They all cheered as they spent some time in Discordia’s many chat clubs talking with Mel’s friends and having some afternoon tea and after that they all jumped through a shortcut exit portal that transported them all the way back to their home in Nile Road just in time for dinner.

Piff used some magic to make a magical meal for everyone and after dinner Piff and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish as Mel emailed Jill about her adventure and apologized to Hyacinth which was followed by a relaxation session and a karaoke session before they all got ready for bed.

Piff and Tangie did their favorite relaxing activities including bathbomb sniffing and playing Tangie’s bathbomb guessing game before the gang all got ready for bed as Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his princess nightgown as they all brushed their teeth.  Piff initiated the closedown sequence which depicted the animated fish couple as Sanrio characters going into a magical tunnel as the background shifted from day to night and their clothes morphed into night clothes as they floated through the tunnel into a fish themed bedroom.

The two fish kissed and yawned as they brushed their teeth and the goodnight message appeared on screen,  Piff kissed Tangie and floated into bed and gave the goodnight speech which was:  ‘Sometimes we do things we don’t want to do,  we had to do a dark episode today because of something that happened to our owner but that’s okay,  it’s over and the good episode is coming up,  so please stay tuned and goodnight.’

Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams including Piff and thus their adventure had come to an end but more are coming up.
