Legend tells of many heroes who have all risen up and faced the forces of darkness head on and defeated them.
From Greek legends such as the legend of Hercules, to the mighty Tarzan to movie heroes like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Campbell, Chuck Norris, Sly Stallone and Arnold Scwartzenegger.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes even animals or ordinary people, but the hero featured in this tale is of a different variety.
Joshua Louis Hunter aka Werejoshpeckprince of TVTropes is a troper by day and a kung fu fighting Werejoshpeck by night, he is the resident fighter of the TV Tropes hero team in Tropequest.
With his intelligence, martial arts expertise and overall cuteness - he is one werecreature that is not to be underestimated.
But after the defeat of the evil troll queen and her hordes, he rarely used his werejoshpeck powers except if someone ever needed his help.
One night he was in the computer room on his laptop checking his email when he was visited by a cloaked figure.
"Greetings, noble warrior. I am Matthias."
"Matthias? Of Amiright fame? What are you doing here?"
"No..not that one. I am here because I have something I want you to do for me."
"What?"
"Since you are the Werejoshpeckprince, your werejoshpeck powers are required for this task."
"I'm sorry but I don't use my werejoshpeck powers unless someone needs my help or if it's really urgent. How urgent is this?"
"Very urgent. A friend of mine needs your help.."
"Who are we talking about here?"
"Erod."
"Wait...the Blockbuster Buster? But he's perfectly capable of handling any supernatural threat by himself.."
"But you're a fellow Legioneer, and if anyone can help him it's you..."
"Oh alright...I'll do it, but i'll have to transform first. I can't go out in this pathetic looking human form of mine you know."
"I understand."
He crept towards the area where the main window was and carefully opened, immediately the moonlight began shining down on him.
He braced himself for the transformation that was going to happen as he took a deep breath and concentrated.
"By the power of the luna light, transform me into a werejoshpeck. Make me the prince of the night!"
Changes started taking place as slowly but surely blackish fur sprouted on his hands and fingernails grew longer and sharper
In addition to this two bumps appeared on each hand but then formed into a pair of additional thumbs, as his fingernails were now sharp black claws.
"So this is..it.."
His shoes started tightening up a bit, the back and sides of them tearing open to leave him for his feet.
With a ripping sound his shoes burst open to reveal his feet sprouting blackish fur and the toenails becoming longer and sharper, resembling claws.
"Aaagh..yeah..."
He felt a sharp pain in his back as slowly but surely quills shot out and grew out of his back, bursting right through the back of his shirt.
The quills were crimson in colour and quite sharp despite their small size, in addition to this the fur continued to grow this time covering his body as he grew to 6ft in height.
"How are you liking it so far?"
"Extremely good.."
His hair grew longer and turned black before becoming a mane, his ears stretched out and became pointed.
Black fur grew on his face as his eyebrows became bushy and black, he closed his eyes and as he reopened them they glowed a beautiful dark shade of green.
"Woah...this feels good..I haven't done this in a while!"
"What I am seeing is certainly impressive."
His canine teeth sharpened and became fangs as his nose turned black and his features slowly started morphing.
His eyes growing wider and more adorable as his nose became slightly more aquiline and his features changed to become more like Josh Peck's features.
"Yes! Yes..."
"Impressive!"
His facial features continued changing until they fully resembled Josh Peck's features along with his voice changing to sound like Josh's voice as well.
His clothes changed into a black and gold martial arts uniform and a dark red belt as he struck a pose and his transformation reached completion, he was now a fully transformed werejoshpeck.
"At last...I get to use my werejoshpeck powers again!"
"That you do...how do you feel?"
"Fantastic!"
"That is good..now go young werejoshpeckprince, go and help Erod."
"I shall not fail you."
With that Joshua now once again Werejoshpeckprince did some backflips and then jetted off into the night to go and help Erod.
As for what happened to him later, he was glad to finally be able to use his powers once again and later got the chance to appear in a few internet reviewer episodes including making cameos in Spoony and Linkara's videos along with Erod.
If you hear a screeching sound in the night, that is Werejoshpeckprince out and about delievering his rounds as the prince and defender of the night.
