TftW: Young and Charmandered

Toby was a 14 year old boy at Carwarden High, he and his best friend Joseph used to have all sorts of wacky misadventures with their supernatural friend Russell-Juice. Russell-Juice was this character who was a combination of Beetlejuice and Russell Brand, he had been Toby's supernatural best pal since he was 8, but like with imaginary friends only he and Joseph could see him. Russell-Juice or RJ as he was often refered to as had Russell Brand's looks and voice including the hair but Beetlejuice's powers and personality as well as the same type of costume. Unfortunately Toby's mother had also heard about him and one night she decided to get rid of him by capturing him, in various different ways. Unfortunately he had to deal with bullies on occassion, all because he didn't want to grow up. One night he was in his room and he was rather sad because his mother had told him that it was time for him to give up his favorite childhood things, he was looking t...

Werebelushi

I've been hearing that some people don't like my werebelushi rant segments, i'm not going to say their names but i'm just going to say this: I'm not using the journal thing for the rant since the Werebelushi is a character and part of a character piece, the rants are character pieces and I do them weekly. If you have a problem with this, then that's okay, that's your problem but don't go telling me to give up the character, I haven't featured him in that many stories as of recent anyway. You can say what you want but the werebelushi character IS apart of the Monster world series and he's not going to be left out or replaced, and besides if it wasn't for  Ben-The-Looney   and the Nostalgia Critic, I wouldn't have come up with this character. I understand that you don't 'get' the character, but you don't have to get it, you just have to enjoy them. The rants will still go on, the werebelushi is NOT leaving ...

Dr Forester and Mr Brand

------------------------------------------------------------ Scientist Nathan Forester was in his lab working on another experiment, this time it some kind of new monster or gadget that can be used - it was something different. He got inspired by an episode of the Beetlejuice animated series to come up with something just like the New U Colone that BJ came up with. Unfortunately in the past his inventions had a tendency to malfunction or go wrong in some way or another. But he was sure that this time it would be different, he was sure it was going to work with no backfiring whatsoever. That is why he invited his friends to help him with the experiment, most of which were reluctant to do it except for Damon who was hesitant. "So glad you gentlemen could join me." "Well Nate, we didn't want to but since you're our friend and all...it's the least we can do." "That's what I like to hear. " "So what is this new invention of your...

Werebelushi rants: Remakes

Werebelushi: Hello one and all, this is That Werebelushi In The Shades and welcome to another rendition of Werebelushi Rants. I did two movie related rants in the past, one on sequels and one on movies of today in general but i'm here to rant on remakes and movies based on cartoons and video games. I already mentioned how Hollywood is running out of ideas and this is one of the many reasons why - remakes - so many damn remakes. For the past several decades there have been remakes of almost every old movie you can think of - except for ones like Blues Brothers, The Godfather and the likes. You want an example of a remake done right? Look no further than the 1986 remake of The Fly. And what about the Thing? The Nightmare On Elm Street remake on the other hand, oh boy....did that movie blow chunks. Not only was it a disgrace to the legacy of Freddy but it wasn't needed. The original Nightmare On Elm Street was perfect as it is, sure the sequels were kinda sil...

Werebelushi rants: Sequels

(We see a male Werebelushi who looks and sounds like John Belushi sitting outside a movie theater) Werebelushi: Hello i'm That Werebelushi In The Shades and welcome to another edition of Werebelushi Rants. One thing my friend the Weremightyena agrees with me on is that they're just too many sequels and spin-offs and this is what today's rant is about. Since I already mentioned how Hollywood is running out of ideas, but this time this is about sequels and spinoffs and franchises. It seems that with sequels they tend to get sillier and more ridiculous, with the Nightmare On Elm Street series being a good example of this. Actually a large number of horror sequels tend to get goofier rather than scarier, but at least some have the decency to end at a fourth or fifth installment. I Know What You Did Last Summer is what comes to mind for that. I have no problems with the first movie or the other ones that came out but I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. Why? Because one of...

Werebelushi Rants: TV

Werebelushi: Hello once again, I'm That Werebelushi In The Shades and welcome to another rendition of Werebelushi Rants. Tonight's rant is on the subject of television and the state it is in these days and I will be discussing the following subjects: Disney Channel, Nickeleodeon, Reality shows, and MTV. Remember when Disney Channel used to be AWESOME? And had shows like Gargoyles, Pepper Ann, Recess, Mighty Ducks, The Replacements, Ducktales, Dave the Barbarian, Lloyd in Space, Kim Possible, Lilo and Stitch the series, and even shows like So Weird? I sure as hell do. And Playhouse Disney's programming was fantastic as well especially with Bear In The Big Blue House, Rolie Polie Ollie, Sing Me A Story With Belle and PB and J Otter. Now it's nothing like that, it's all teen sitcoms and I agree with Benthelooney. But there is one golden spark of light over in this dank hole of a channel and it's Phineas and Ferb. Seriously what I...

Werebelushi rants: Human interaction

We see a male Werebelushi standing outside an arcade, he looks and sounds like John Belushi) Werebelushi: Hello i'm That Werebelushi In The Shades and welcome to Werebelushi rants. Now being a Reviewer in addition to being a werebelushi I have several reviewer friends like Linkara, Blockbuster Buster, Angry Joe, Nostalgia Critic, Lupa and Phelous. But human interaction is quite difficult at times, especially if the reactions I get from most humans tends to be disgust or fear. Most commonly there are certain people out there who like to be overly mean and insulting towards me and they make fun of me cause i'm you know...fat, or they make some lame insulting quip asking if i'm going to die of a drug overdose like my late namesake. And also sometimes on occassion some people harrass and insult me just because i'm a reviewer and they think I should get out into the real world and get a life. Ummmm...there's one problem with that! Given the many problems this world is...
