It’s no surprise that Piff was quite the comic genius of the group and even gained a lot of success with his Youtube content,  one day when he was with his friends he decided to do  parodies of reviewer content so all of the friends gathered together to help him with this idea.

After morning tea he used some magical film equipment to create his own webshow, he came up with the concept of the ‘Puffed Up Fish Reviewer’ and used some magic to create a funny webshow parody.  The opening of his review show began with him shooting lightning bolts at CGI animated monsters and 3D models he had made using Blender and it showed and his friends screaming at a CGI monster as the opening titles of his show came on.

Which was followed by Piff sitting down as his reviewer persona and beginning..’Hello i’m That Puffed Up Fish Reviewer and if there is something fishy it has me all over it, today’s review is of a movie called The Onion Movie. Well I don’t know that much about the Onion but…’  ‘I can help.’  ‘Werebelushi In Shades, how did you get into my underwater palace house?’  ‘The convenience of being a reviewer myself enables me to conveniently cross over with you.’  ‘So what do you even know about this Onion?’  

Werebelushi In Shades began to explain the history of the humor magazine known as the Onion and the website that it spawned as well as the movie only for Piff to interrupt with: ‘Yeah but does this movie based on a humor magazine that has onion in the title have any actual onions in it?  Let’s find out.’

Piff and Werebelushi both reviewed The Onion Movie and the former kept not understanding the humor and even stole a joke from the Nostalgia Critic’s review of Casper regarding Rodney Dangerfield’s cameo. ‘Ha ha, the ironic thing is that he really is dead.’  ‘Piff, did you just steal that joke from NC’s Casper review?’  ‘Yes, I did.’  ‘Piff, the movie was made before Rodney’s death!’ ‘I knew that.’

While Werebelushi liked the movie Piff (in character) was getting more peeved off at it and then a monstrous onion muppet popped out of the movie screen. ‘Aaaaw come on, a monstrous onion creature?’  ‘Yes, even if the movie had nothing to do with onions, I have to fight this onion monster.’  ‘But this has nothing to do with the movie.’ ‘I know but I have to.’

He battled the onion monster using a mystical samurai sword that was once a prop but was brought to life and shot lightning bolts at the onion and the onion-monster cried and then told him his sad backstory of how he was bullied for being smellier than normal onions when he was a child which made Piff cry.  ‘Gee I was just going to defeat you like every reviewer of this type did with a bad piece of media but you made me feel bad for you and I never knew just how unfortunate you were. Here I was just mocking how pointless the skits are,  and there you are just telling me your backstory.  I just wanted to thrash the Onion Movie.’

‘I am very sorry to have done this.’  After the onion-monster apologized Piff sat down at the desk and explained everything before ending the review with…’So that was The Onion Movie, and I don’t know if i’m missing out on something because I did not get any of the jokes in this.  But it was not as bad as I thought it was.  Although one burning question won’t leave my mind…why weren’t there any onions in this movie called The Onion Movie?’

‘That was the review? You did nothing but argue with me and do battle with a bad CGI onion monster and then asked why there weren’t any onions in the movie.’  ‘Sorry about that’,  this was followed by a parody of Squarespace advertisements and a charity plug which was followed by a skit where Piff did a ‘review’ of Phish’s album and concert film Bittersweet Motel where it was actually just a bad mocking parody of it. 

The skits made everyone laugh, they all had lunch together and then Piff made all of his friends make multiple movies with him and the squishmallows where his reviewer persona was portrayed as a badass who can do anything only to screw up and make things sillier than they were in a Naked Gun-like fashion.  Complete with a gag where Piff is dressed as Samurai Jack in a Suburban Knights parody where he was not wearing any underpants under the kimono.  He also explained how he had this deep love of being a reincarnated emperor in the body of a pufferfish who has been chosen to save the world, and how he had this ‘gift’.

They all had afternoon tea together as Piff as his reviewer persona reviewed aquarium designs in a crude and over the top fashion and even doing a parody of ‘clipless’ reviews by pretending that his review of Finding Nemo had been taken down by Disney and Pixar for ‘copyright’ reasons,  which was followed by him battling an evil doppelganger of himself who was a dark pufferfish named Fipp who was from the planet Uguf.  

Piff explained that he needed his dark self to be this powerful pufferfish who can shoot dark energy beams and poison his enemies with a touch only for Corey to tell him…’Piff, he’s just an evil doppelganger of you and his name is yours backwards.  You don’t need this deep lore about him.’  ‘Oh but I do, he is my nemesis.’ 

An hour later he did a video that was more of a tribute to Minty Comedic Arts and even did tributes to comedic game reviewers,  then they all had dinner together and Piff made sushi for everyone to eat and after dinner they all played games as he and Tangie went fishing and caught a lot of fish.  Mel emailed Jill about their adventure as well.

Which was followed by a karaoke session, Piff and Tangie had a karaoke session with all their friends and performed a duet together and when their fun session was over they had a relaxation session with fish themed arts and crafts, Tangie’s favorite game ‘Guess the Bathbomb Scent’, and even some poetry and story sessions as Corey put on his bat pajamas and Oats put on his princess nightgown.

When they all got into the bedroom they thanked Mel and Piff for the adventure and brushed their teeth as Piff initiated the closedown sequence,  Piff always began and ended the day with an animated sequence of a pufferfish - the morning/sign on sequence had a night-time background morphing into a daytime background as the pufferfish yawned and jumped out of bed and brushed his teeth and took a shower as as a morning message appeared on screen followed by the pufferfish walking out of the shower and his pajamas becoming his daytime clothes  and the goodnight/closedown sequence featured the pufferfish yawning and brushing his teeth as the daytime background morphed into a night-time one as he jumped into bed as a goodnight message appeared on screen and his clothes morphed into pajamas.

Piff jumped into bed with Tangie and they all settled down for a good night’s sleep as he gave a goodnight speech…’Thank you all for tuning in to our adventures today, we are all drifting off into the ocean of dreams but we will be back for more adventures tomorrow, goodnight to you all love from all of us here at Nile Road and on the Piff Channel’ before drifting off to sleep as Anglo turned off the light and everyone fell asleep.

After falling asleep they all had sweet dreams including Piff, Piff was even more delighted to see when he woke up an hour later to find that he had gained 253 subscribers and Suku who was his twin/biggest fan, was even posting a video titled ‘Funny Pufferfish Icon Piff Impersonates Reviewers: A Hilarious Satire Compilation’.

And thus their adventure had ended but more are coming up, so stay tuned.
