Piff: The Viral Superstar Fish.

Everyone’s favorite duo were popular in many places of the world and even on the internet, including their friends.  One friend of theirs that got a lot of attention was Piff, a funny pufferfish from Japan who had an unpredictable comedic persona and a sense of cheekiness to him, he had recently gone viral due to his many online cartoons of himself such as ‘Funky Pufferfish Dances For Love’ ‘Karaoke Party in Fishland’ ‘Samurai Piff’  ‘Piff’s Origin’ ‘his ‘Piff Blows Up About’ series in which he complained about such things as toxic online users, when a good user makes fetish content that gets in your feed, budgeting and so much more.

But his performance of ‘Swim Taiyaki-kun’ with Tangie made him a viral superstar, to the point the song became one of his signature theme songs in his videos next to Orinoco Flow, the Fushugi Yugi theme, and Kung Fu Fighting.  An even bigger viral hit happened when Piff made a video about going to a bathtub store and smiling at a golden bathtub.

For some reason the fans really loved Piff’s special interest in bathtubs,  and thought it was adorable seeing him smiling at the sight of one.  And then Piff’s video of himself introducing himself to his fans got a lot of attention along with the video of making kung fu poses, among others. ‘The guys and girls and fish out there go crazy for my fishy humor.’

“You are quite the funny fishy, my sweet sashimi with two spring rolls.”

‘You are both very funny to me, i’m turning bright red every time you tell your jokes.’  Anglo responded, chuckling as he turned a vibrant shade of red. ‘You really do know how to make people laugh.’

“I know I am super popular. My videos get lots of views.”

 

Piff’s videos were the talk of the online universe, and he was a superstar but his popularity increased even more due to the many views his videos got and one day the duo asked Piff if he’d like to go on an online adventure with Mel and the others - he used a special code on the keyboard to open up a portal to a virtual world.

They all jumped into the portal which took them through another portal and into the virtual world, they arrived in the big domain of the internet…they arrived in the main selection square of the town,  sections titled Instagram Villa,  Tiktok City, and Youtube Pavilion were shown.

Piff and the duo had some morning tea and some snacks before entering Youtube Pavilion where he came across a group of anthropomorphic female fish who were all fans of his show and his cartoons.  ‘Piff, look you have fans.’ ‘Hello to all of you, I am Piff.’

He greeted his fans and smiled as he did some of his comedy material and signed autographs, there was a gift shop filled with Piff merchandise including Piff t shirts, all of Piff’s humor books, and even Piff plushes. On the televisions there were highlights of Piff’s comedic performances including a Young Ones tribute.

In the tribute sketch Aiyido the beholder was Mike, Corey was Rick, Oats was Neil, and Piff was playing Vyvian.  Piff was entering a contest to win an unlimited supply of ‘Tasty Prawn Flakes’ and he was writing an essay about why he liked the cereal.  Piff had to write what Prawn Flakes meant to him. ‘I am going to have fun winning this contest, all I have to do is write in 10 or more words what Prawn Flakes means to me. So I put in Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes, Prawn Flakes.’  ‘You will never win Piff, that’s only 9 words.’

‘Praaaaawn Flakes.’ Piff added,  they all had a comedic fight, and another part of the skit had them all on a train going to see an aquarium show in the city and Anglo and Aiyido were reading from a fact book and when Piff had finished his revision he stopped up and exclaimed. ‘Right, i’m finished with this novel revision, i’m going to stuff loads and loads of paper down the toilet!’

Piff went over to the bathroom on the train to stuff some paper in the toilet without using it and to add to the skit he sniffed some bath-bombs, and he saw a sign that said ‘do not lean out of the window’.  ‘Hmm, do not lean out of the window, I wonder why.’  Piff screamed as the train came into a tunnel and his left hand feel off before he picked it up.  

Everyone laughed at the skit, another skit involved Piff parodying one of the weird interludes…’I’ve just been in Anglo’s bedroom, to borrow his Insta-Krill, but I broke in and ate his fish cakes - and I wasn’t even hungry!’  he laughed wickedly as he told them the story.  ‘You won’t catch me with my kimono!’

‘Oh Piffikins, you are so funny and it suits you perfectly.’  ‘I know.’ They all had fun together and had lunch together, as he saw several Piff fanfiction stories including ‘Piff Interrupts A Bad TG Story’ which was all about Piff entering a bad TG story that had a stupid subplot about a group of random pop culture characters acting like they were in a serious adventure when it was really just a glorified Pooh’s Adventure/Adventure Team ordeal.  While a forced TG sequence of someone into  Chun Li from Street Fighter was going on, Piff in the story was berating the other characters. ‘Why is crap like this even popular to begin with? Look, your leader is a wannabe woke brat with a stupid hair color who is built up to be a badass but barely does anything. And those stupid inkling impersonators just act as annoying sidekicks. And don’t get me started on that double-binary anthro demon fox/dragon hybrid character, not only is her creator a rude abusive d-i-c-k head who hangs around with a pedophile, but she started a clown-freak apocalypse in one story, unleashed villains from those questionable adult games into the Deviantart World, and thinks clowns are a species and thinks the same of those pup outfits you see in adult stores, she is a tart.’  

He laughed as he read the story…’I would so totally do that. I would berate those characters for taking up so much of a supposedly good story with their stupid nonsense that does nothing but waste time’, especially when he imagined himself punishing the demon fox-girl character.  He was then shown another fanfic, a fanfic about him being in a Spongebob episode.

They had afternoon tea afterwards followed by going to a trip to the gift shop as Piff brought a talking plush doll of Tangie and Tangie got one of Piff. The plush doll spoke lines when squeezed such as ‘I am Piff’ ‘Oooooong!’ ‘Wong? Who is Wong?’ ‘Who is Zuta?’ ‘I’m from Japan.’ ‘Hello ladies.’  ‘You know, ladies consider myself a gift to fish-women everywhere.’ ‘Taiyaki!’

Afterwards they played around and Piff posed for photos and even promoted his next video which was ‘Piff’s Anime Misadventure’ and he even promoted the youtube channels of Corey and Oats, when it was time for them to go back home they all headed over to the portal zone after saying goodbye to all of Piff’s fans.

When they reached the portal zone they all jumped through the portal and went through another portal which took them all the way out as they were pulled out of the screen and back into their home at Nile Road.

They settled down in the lounge with their friends before submitting some more adventure videos featuring Piff and Piff posted on Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok, everyone adored his videos.  

When dinner came around they gathered in the lounge and had some delicious food, followed by Mel emailing Jill about their adventures afterwards. Piff even submitted his own story which he posted on Deviantart, Furaffinity (under his account ‘CharmingPufferfish’) and even on Scribd.  

An hour later they had a karaoke session and Piff and Tangie went fishing together and caught all sorts of fish, they all thanked Mel for their adventure and when they wrapped up their karaoke session -  it was time for bed, when they ran into the bedroom they thanked Mel for their adventure.

Oats put on his pink night-gown while Corey put on his bat pajamas and they all brushed their teeth together before saying goodnight to each-other and picking out pals to sleep with as they jumped on the bed.

Anglo turned off the light and they all laid down, drifting off to sleep as they did so, having sweet dreams as they did so, Piff dreamed about being invited to a fan club meeting with his pals.  

Their adventure for the day had ended but not their adventures in general, more are coming up so stay tuned.
