The Creation Of A Were-Aykroyd.

By now we all know the story of Nathan's alter-ego the seductive Were-Aykroyd but what do we know about the Aykroyd-verse as a whole?  Well we know it exists and that multiple Aykroyds are out there,  but how did it start and how did the Were-Aykroyd come to be and how did he choose Nathan?   It began way back in early 2020, Nathan would constantly have dreams and visions of becoming Dan Aykroyd,  these involved psychic powers and possessions...at first he was embarassed to have them, he started out being weirded out by them but eventually he warmed up to it as he saw himself in Dan and he always thought about that angle and what it meant to him.  This fascination eventually evolved into a full on obsession.  Sure, people thought he was weird for it but weird was his specialty. 'Do you think you will get an answer to your Aykroyd related queries?'  'Probably somewhere in my dreams, yes.'  He thought about those dreams, thinking they meant something.

"Your dreams are wild."

"I know, just like me."

"Say...do you have a spiritual connection to Aykroyd?"

"I think I do....he's always there."

Dan was always there, even when he was far from his home and Dan was his 'spirit animal', maybe he thought there was more to it than that, he had heard of such stories from his friends online about the idea of maybe having an alternate persona who was Dan, maybe he was Dan's doppelganger or Dan was his counterpart from another world.  He didn't know which but he couldn't care less.

"You know,  no matter where I am, he's there with me."

It was like these two were meant to be but he didn't understand why,  but yet he didn't care as he knew it was like he had found his equal.  Someone who he could kin himself with, and thus gave him an idea for a character/alter-ego, an alter-ego who was based on Dan, an alter-ego who was a version of Dan,  an alter-ego who was a deadly combination of adorkable and oddly alluring,  a man who oozed cool...and that's when he thought of making a Were-Aykroyd persona to be his alter-ego.   He had heard the urban legend of the Were-Aykroyd being spread around online for years now,  it originally started as an urban myth that was made up by Canadians to frighten tourists,  much like Snipe hunts or the Dropbear, but he knew in his heart that it was real and wasn't just a story.

He knew that the legend had come true a few times and he knew of a certain internet reviewer who took on the form of a Were-Aykroyd for a special event,  he knew that this myth had some truth behind it but he was obsessed with finding out more.  He knew of the story about the Aykroyd-verse, specifically the comics that depicted the supervillain Aykroydiac turning people into Were-Aykroyds and Coneheaded humanoid aliens,  he knew of Aykroydiac's special Remulakian transformation program which he used to turn an assistant of his into a Conehead alien on a live broadcast.  He adored Aykroydiac as a character because of the horror motif and how he was able to channel his music career with his powers.    He decided to change his icon on Deviantart and on other sites into an Aykroyd icon and deidcated himself to studying the Aykroyd-verse.

As he did he began to put a little bit more into his Were-Aykroyd alter-ego, giving him a backstory to go with his powers along with a group of Aykroyd characters to be his gang, he picked out his favorites Vic (from Neighbors), Jimmy Flaherty (from Celtic Pride), Austin (from Spies Like Us),  Elwood,  Ray Zalinksi, Ray Stantz, Roman Craig, Grocer, Mike Webber and Beldar.   And he gave each character a role.   He spent long hours of each night, working on stories to flesh out their universe in written form.

"Perfect...now I can bring this guy to life."

"He certainly looks impressive."

A couple of nights after the creation of this persona he began to have those dreams again, the dreams of turning into Dan and his characters. One dream he'd always have would be the one where he was running from a group of Aykroyd characters and hiding out in a library, in that one he witnessed a woman being hypnotized and turned and those ones made him jealous,  he wanted that to happen to him so he offered himself up for it, and he was transformed into Jimmy Flaherty.  The dreams became more seductive as they went on, and sometimes he couldn't help but pant in his sleep,  this was a sign that he wanted this to happen for real.

He would groan and pant in his sleep and the Aykroyd dreams would increase and become stronger on nights of a full moon,  the moon always influenced him due to his half-vampire aspects and sometimes on nights of the blood moon he would vamp out but the dreams became increasingly more powerful each time.  To the point that there was never a scene he'd forget and he shared these dreams with people on a Discord chat server,  there was one scene in particular that always entered his mind...it was a massage scene, where a character was being massaged and hypnotized into being a thicc sexy Were-Aykroyd, he loved the scene but hated that in the script that this scene was supposed to be for the character was an asshole and the villain of the story,  granted it was a Tales From The Crypt-like story but he hated the character.  'Why does he get to be a Were-Aykroyd? I wish that was me instead of him, he wasn't even grateful for it.'

"I bet you hate that character a lot."

"Yes...he comes across as an asshole and he's a villain."

He was jealous of the character too, he wanted to be Aykroyded up and to become a Were-Aykroyd himself and he openly said he'd like to happen.  These dreams increased further as he imagined that scene in Diamonds where Dan Aykroyd's character was having a massage and he imagined himself in that scene, not just that but actually becoming him in that scene.  That scene was the first scene in which he realized he had a thing for Dan Aykroyd, and while watching that scene he realized he was becoming a simp for him. And that's when he acted out that exact scenario in the form of an RP, acting as the narrator and also as the lead character.

As he acted it out he felt like he really could identify with Dan, feeling some kind of connection to the actor.  This connection was a powerful one that made it more than clear that Dan Aykroyd was his spirit animal and twin, and this made him want to be a Were-Aykroyd himself. He knew his 2010 variant would have just eaten this up  knowing how much he loved the horror genre and being a monster (2010 Nathan always wanted to have monster powers but never got the chance to but loved RPing as a monster).  That's when he envisioned himself reinacting the scenes from the dreams that he had, one of them being where he was possessed by Dan and turned into a Were-Aykroyd, in the previous vision he was Jimmy Flaherty..in the next two he morphed into Elwood, Ray Stantz, Roman Craig, and Grocer and Mike Webber.  That last one made him pant a little bit, because he always did love the underappreciated sitcom Soul Man.  In fact he had been watching that show quite a bit to help with his research.  That's when he looked around and he saw the gang of Aykroyd characters looking over at him.  Austin hugged Nathan as he greeted him with a cheerful smile.

"Hi ya i'm Austin Milbarge."

"I can't believe it,  my creations, you're all alive."

"Of course we are. We're your muses and your subjects, king."

"Did you just call me king?"

"Yes, it's a term of endearment."

"Of course I knew that."

Austin chuckled, he was impressed when he looked around at Nathan's apartment, seeing all the classic rock albums on display.  He was even more impressed by the folders of Dan Aykroyd photos, all of them being rather good looking and some were rather gorgeous.  'Your work here is amazing. Especially this picture folder,  you have archived the Aykroyd-verse's history in its glory and it's fantastic. I like how you described the possession since that is a key part of the story.'  'How did you Aykroyds come to be anyway?' 'Oh, we were all already Were-Aykroyds,  you on the other hand...our king, aren't.'  'True, i'm not one but I want to be one.'  'You want to be one?'  'Oh yes please. You guys look like you're having fun serving the king of your group like that.'  'Well that's because we are.'

"You know,  as strange as you guys are...you're adorable."

"Aaaaaw, thank you."

There was something endearing about this gang, like they were a clan of socially awkward but adorable Canadian vampires,  and he wanted to be their king, he wanted to help them and he wanted to be their king at the same time and to do that he would need to become a were-Aykroyd himself.  That's when he asked...'How do I become one of you?  How do I become a Were-Aykroyd?'  'Well we're not a typical were-type, we don't bite our victims and turn them that way but we have other ways of doing so. Like hypnosis, we hypnotize them.'  'Hypnosis you say?'  'Which one of you has the most effective hypno powers?'  'That would be Vic, he's our leader.'   A blonde haired Dan Aykroyd character with a chrome tooth and piercing blue eyes looked at Nathan and admired him,  his eyes were a most certainly haunting and entrancing sight...they looked like they were inhumanly blue and beautiful, like he had been using the spice Melange so much that his eyes were permantely blue because of it.

Nathan recognized the character,  he knew that the character was called Vic or Vic Zeck and he was the guy who moved in next door to John Belushi's Earl Keese in the 1981 dark comedy Neighbors.  Vic was naturally very confident in who he was, being the leader of the Were-Aykroyd gang gave him a tremendous amount of charisma that just oozed off of him.  It was that kind of charisma Nathan was jealous of and wanted,  he was socially awkward and shy and rarely ever socialized,  and he wanted to be as cool and charismatic as this character.  He blushed as he looked over at him. 'Vic..i'd like to...' 'Yes...what would you like to do?' 'Become a Were-Aykroyd. How do I do it?'  'Well I could hypnotize you and turn you that way.'

"I'd like that."

"Just relax and let me show you."

Vic's vibrant blue eyes gave off an unnatural supernatural glow as he instructed Nathan to look into them, which he did...Nathan gazed into Vic's eyes, and as he did he relaxed and drifted off into a trance-like state which made him think of the dreams he had, all of the Aykroyd transformations including the ones that made him wish it was him transforming,  he envisioned it all.  At first when he he had those dreams about turning into Dan, he was horrified and a little embarrassed but they became addictive over time, making him want more of them and wanting the to happen to him.  He didn't know how to explain this to friends because he knew he would probably be judged for it.  But the other Aykroyd characters reassured him he was in safe hands and they wouldn't judge him, they saw him as a family member and someone who could help them.

"Ah yes...that feels pretty nice."

"Indeed it does, and you're going to make a fine Were-Aykroyd."

"I am?"

"Oh yes...a damn fine one."

He hadn't thought about it before but Dan was pretty sexy and to be like him would surely be a blessing, maybe this was the reason that Dan chose him...maybe, maybe Dan really liked him...or maybe it was meant to happen, you know...a kindred spirit sort of thing, Nathan saw himself in Dan and he knew this was meant to happen.  But whatever it was, he knew this was going to be special for him.  Nathan was always transforming himself and sometimes he wondered if people would judge him for it, but he didn't have to worry about that much.  Because at least he was generous when he wanted to be and he didn't work for an evil organization or brainwash innocent humans into becoming mindless mythical animal slaves or brainwash them into being Pokemon that could only speak their own name over and over,  he only transformed others if he was required to and he didn't force others to serve him.

"I'm looking forward to this."

"I'm glad you are."

Nathan never believed in the Were-Aykroyd myth before but he had heard the stories, he had the stories of people who were told the stories while on vacation in Canada and how once you become a Were-Aykroyd there's no going back,  but prior to this he had only been getting told about them via those urban legends that Canadians made up to frighten tourists...of course, what the Canadians and tourists knew didn't hurt them and it certainly wouldn't hurt him either.  He still couldn't think of those crazy Were-Aykroydish dreams he had about becoming Dan and how he was scared/puzzled/terrified at first but eventually warmed up to them especially how oddly sexy some of them were, and how he didn't feel so bad about it once it became a regular occurence.  He had always felt like an outcast and he had trouble finding someone who understood his unique visions, hence why he always saw himself in Aykroyd..looking in the mirror he'd sometimes see himself but as Aykroyd.

"You know this all seems natural to me. I have dreams..."

"I know of your dreams, I can make those dreams real for you."

As he looked into Vic's eyes he began to feel at ease, in fact he felt more at ease than ever as he began to think about the dreams some more...seeing someone else Aykroyd-up like that made him jealous, he didn't know whether he should feel guilty or not about feeling jealous of it...but he wished that the massage scene in that one dream was one he was in.  'Should I feel guilty about this? I mean that scene though...I remember it clear as dear, massaging that one special person who gets Aykroyded up. I want that to happen to me.'   Vic's hypnotic powers were already having an effect on him and he was already thinking about being a Were-Aykroyd and he thought of himself as being able to help the other Aykroyds, he always panted in his sleep when he was transforming in said dreams as if he wanted those to happen to him.  He looked up into Vic's eyes and wanted it...he wanted to become a Were-Aykroyd and he thought about the advantages of what being one would have.

He felt more relaxed as he drifted off...having another Aykroyd transformation dream, this one was getting him fully addicted to the idea of it. He was having the library dream again but this time he was wondering why he was running away in the previous dream,  the Aykroyds weren't malicious or evil, they likely just wanted to be his friends.  'Vic,  I don't understand why I was afraid of you guys in that dream, you guys didn't want to hurt me, right?'  'Of course not.  We're all your friends.'  'You are?' 'Why yes, after all you created us and gave us a purpose, we're eternally thankful.'   Nathan blushed as he thought about the dream and the transformation scene.  'And I offered myself up to be Aykroyded up.'  'Exactly...you want this, don't you?'  'Yes...'   And that's when Austin leaned in to transfer his energy into him via a kiss, which made Nathan blush a bit more.   One way a Were-Aykroyd could turn others was with a kiss and he immediately began to feel a warm sensation building up.

"Ooh....I feel pretty warm, and nice..."

Nathan chuckled as he felt the warmth creeping up and down his arms which were slowly growing and broadening, as brownish hairs grew on them,  he then saw his hands enlargening as his fingers thickened and then saw the hairs growing on his hands....he always remembered the 'fur growing on the hands' part being prominent on humanoid werecreature transformations hence why he always wore brown fur gloves on his hands,  these gloves were made to emulate that.   He examined his much larger hands and arms as his skin slowly lost imperfections and became healthier, also aging up to 68 years old but this didn't irk him in the slightest.  He groaned as his chest and torso broadened, brown hairs slowly developing on the former and downwards on his stomach, as his stomach also broadened and swelled,  making him bush a little.  He looked at his legs as they bulked up a little to support his body as his feet grew, two of the toes on both feet sticking together to gain a webbed appearance.

"Hey.  Look at that, you're coming along nicely."

"Thanks..."

He examined his webbed toes and then felt something when his back broadened, in the process his rear inflated a bit and filled out, giving him a thicc rear end...which made him blush. 'Damn...I didn't realize Dan had such a thicc rear end like this...I feel kind of embarrassed about this.'  'You shouldn't, just look at you...you're such a good looking specimen'.  He was never one to think about his looks before but now he definitely did, and he looked good...and he felt good about it.  'Could it be this was meant to happen? It certainly feels that way to me.'  'Yes, it is...king, it's meant to happen.'  This was something that was going to naturally happen to him and this naturally felt good,  his Aykroydian dreams were coming true and he felt really at ease with the whole ordeal.

"You look very good."

"Thanks, you guys look awesome too."

He blushed as his shoulders broadened and his neckline altered,  his height slowly growing from 5'7 to 6'1 as his hairline altered,  becoming darker and wavier as his forehead became much larger and his eyebrows thickened,  his brow altering in the process as one of his eyes turned from brown to green while the other remained brown and both eyes widened.  His nose broadened as a cleft materialized in the middle of it as his lips plumped and became a bit more kissable,  his jawline contorted as his features altered,  becoming well...Aykroydian as they morphed into a perfect likeness of Dan's features,  he chuckled and then felt his face, his voice deepening and mature, developing the mannerisms that went with his appearance,  which is to say he sounded like he was Dan Aykroyd.   In his mind he was already getting some very Aykroydian thoughts and memories, making him think he was always born to look like this and sound like this,  like he had always been Aykroydian.

"How do you feel about this?"

"I feel pretty good.  I feel more natural like this."

"As you should, king."

Mentally he felt like he was always like this. He felt like he always was this handsome dummy thicc Were-Aykroyd and he  felt like he belonged with them more than anyone else.  He felt like he was a father figure type or even a mentor to those who had troubles, especially fellow monsters and he knew that helping them would make them feel feel better and he felt like a mentor and like he always had been who he was,  he gained memories that reflected Dan Aykroyd's own ones,  Making him feel like he was Aykroyd and he was ready to help the others as his transformation completed, he gazed upon his appearance in the mirror as his reflection changed to signify this...becoming Aykroyd's own,  a few minutes later and his transformation was completed and he was 'Dan', a charismatic Were-Aykroyd who had a gift for helping others.   He had fully transformed and he felt like he could make a difference in the lives of others.   He gestured to the other Aykroyds and he picked up a screen-play containing numerous stories about them.  'Behold, the Aykroyd-verse. We can make this happen if we work really hard on it and work as a team.'  'You're right...we can do this.'   Dan and his Aykroydian gang of followers set up a special method of bringing the Aykroyd-verse to life, using a spell to unlock it and combining three Aykroyd movies in one...Loose Cannons, Doctor Detroit and Trading Places.  The three movies served to combine into the major storyline of the Aykroyd-verse.

"There we go,  our Aykroyd-verse."

"It's truly wonderful..."

"Indeed it is."

And thus with that, the Aykroyd-verse fully came into fruitition.   A couple of months later Dan set up his own paranormal therapy service where he offered sage advice and wisdom to fellow supernatural beings and that's when he heard his first patient come in. That patient being a fellow were-celebrity, a were-celebrity who appeared as the late Robin Williams, Robin sat himself down and sighed.  'Hello there...i'm Dr Aykroyd, but you may call me Dan.  How may I help you, Mr?'  'My name is Robin Williams and I have some problems that I need your help fixing.'  'Very well, Robin. What do you need help with?' 'Well I have these very weird dreams every time I go to sleep.'   Robin explained in vivid details the dreams he had, as a mini-movie screen in his mind played them out...the dreams had him entering some kind of strange lodge, a lodge where everyone seemed to talk differently than he did.   Robin explained that he found it odd that they taked differently,  and also of all the different odd things he saw and observed, he remembered it all vividly.

"As I entered the lodge, I found that the people in it talked differently."

"How did they talk differently?"

"They talked in reverse but also were-talking-forward at the same time."

Robin sighed as he explained the events of the dream, hearing...'the owls aren't what they seem',  and of sitting down with a man in a red suit.  'The man in the red suit told me that there is good news and that the movies of mine that people like are coming back in style'.  'I see.'  'Then I see him with this woman who looks a lot like my daughter Zelda. I think it's her, I don't know.'  He explained that he often found himself in the lodge and he saw a man with wild looking hair and a manical grin on his face, and also he saw what appeared to be himself...but it wasn't him, this version of him he saw was a doppelganger with piercing white eyes.  He recalled also seeing a doppelganger of Zelda, when he approached Zelda, Zelda responded with 'meeeeanwhile' followed by a piercing scream that startled him.  He didn't understand what this meant, but he recalled seeing multiple incarnations of himself including as a woman and as a disfigured half-troll creature, and even as a bit of smoke coming out of an old lamp, albeit a bit of smoke with his face on it.    He recalled the numbers coming out of the lamp too,  a five and an eight respectively.

"It's a 5 or an 8.  Or sometimes it's many different ones."

"Ah..."

"And the evil smiling man wants something from me."

"What does he want from you?"

"Garmonbozia.  My pain and suffering."

Dan could tell Robin was visibly getting frightened as he explained the dream...'There, it's alright...i'll keep you safe.'  'You will?'  'Yes, I will. You clearly need someone who loves you after all you've been through and i'm going to help you.'  'You have no idea how happy I feel about this'.  Robin reached out and hugged Dan and it wasn't too long until a friendship had formed between the two, but it became more than a friendship, it felt like a loving relationship.  And he knew that he could count on his new friend to help him through this.  And thus the two were now very close friends, and Robin had someone to help him and to keep him safe from the 'smiling man'.  Dan knew he had made a major breakthrough as well and thus the beginning of their relationship had took off.

"There...i'll keep you safe Robin."

"Thank you, you're a miracle worker."

It seemed that having all those Aykroyd dreams paid off as Nathan now got to be Dan

Aykroyd and through the Were-Aykroyd got to express his weirdness with others,  and he didn't care about being judged for it.  He had come to realize that Aykroyd had chosen him for a very important reason, to bond with him and serve as his inner self and spirit animal, and now every night or whenever he thought about it he would become him,  the Were-Aykroyd who uses his paranormal knowledge to help others and to also find new people to be part of his group.  It wasn't long until he discovered a Discord server with people that were obsessed with Aykroyd to the point of simping, he had heard that word and wanted to know what it meant so he asked them, and they fawned over him. He realized that this was what he wanted all along and now Dan Aykroyd was his spirit animal, a perfect match...he was always there for Nathan, and now when nightfall arrived or when Nathan thought about it he would become Dan Aykroyd himself and as the 'Were-Aykroyd' he would do many things and even make new friends including finding a potential new addition in the form of Derek Hale.  He knew he had made the right choice in choosing Nathan,  as he saw the monsterologist had similarities to himself, and from then on....Nathan and 'Dan' would be one and the same,  Dan Aykroyd being the 'Were-Aykroyd' alter-ego who would always be there for Nathan and also for 'Robin'.

Whenever Nathan was close to straying too far from the 'Aykroyd' side or with someone who wasn't him, Dan was always there to save him and bring him back to the side of the Were-Aykroyd. Serving as a spirit guide to him and protecting him.  Nathan now felt loved and all of his troubles including the fallout he had with his former friends seemed to be but a distant memory,  he hadn't been the way since he lost his non-supernatural father in 2018 and now he had found someone who loved him even more,  and that was Aykroyd.   He didn't have to worry about people judging him for nursing an attraction to this man anymore, all of those people that vilified him for being weird soon ended up being turned Aykroydian themselves, as their world...the Daloli-verse collapsed and was replaced with an Aykroyded up version.  He was reverred by his followers and soon became their alpha,  their king...a King Were-Aykroyd.  'This has been the greatest thing that has ever happened.'

He felt very proud of himself and the others for what they have done and for a good reason, he was their king now and being a Were-Aykroyd felt natural to him since he always had been one and a formidable one at that.  Indeed so,  as their king he was  a most powerful Were-Aykroyd if there ever was one...how could this be?  Because he was the Kwisatz Haderach of the Were-Aykroyds! Nathan and Dan were now together as one and the same. And so you see, sometimes our spirit animal/spirti person chooses us and not the other way around...Aykroyd had chosen Nathan in the same way that Walken and Bowie had.  It was planned along well for this to happen and this is exactly how it was meant to be.
