It's no secret that Mel the koala-girl adores her boyfriend Lithius/Mega Mutt but she had a problem with his constant complaints and the overuse of words such as 'knock-off' or 'rip-off', she hated it even more when he disobeyed her and acted more like a little brother than a boyfriend, it was very annoying to her and she wished that he would just keep quiet and stop complaining for once.
One night she decided to confront him about this behavior and be honest about how she felt about this kind of attitude, she felt that it was time to put her foot down and take charge for once in her life.
"Lithius, hon..we need to talk.."
"What?"
"It's about your behavior. You must cease with this angry, bitter attitude of yours. I mean I read a script of yours recently and wow....what a horrible piece of crap that was! I mean you pretty much ruined the election storyarc by putting in some bullcrap about how you supposedly got so embarrassed by the interview that you turned to the darkside and tried to kill Soo and worse...you made me your prisoner."
"But..."
"But nothing, you've been nothing but a big cry-baby recently and I don't like it. I thought you liked me but everytime one of these situations happen, you break up with me for no good reason and get back to me having learned nothing from the previous mishap. You keep making ridiculous demands and throwing hissyfits. I feel more like i'm looking after a baby brother than a boyfriend."
"It's not my fault..."
"Oh yeah...sure it isn't. I suppose you're gonna blame it on me or Nathan like you always do, or blame it on Soo. Or even on poor Dawn Bellwether. That lamb was innocent and she doesn't deserve to be loathed and viewed as scum. It's bad enough that she gets treated like that from villain haters, but from you? I thought you were a superhero. That's not very heroic if you ask me."
"But it's..."
"Honey...face it, you have attitude problems and clearly you don't know how to adjust to things here. You're not in Kentville anymore and you're certainly not in Kansas, you are in Oakendale, paranormal sightings central, a place where humans and monsters co-exist together including celebrities."
"But..."
"You're lucky us koalas are a forgiving bunch. If I was another animal-girl species I wouldn't have been as forgiving and loving towards you. I love you, I just want you to tell me that you'll never do this kind of thing again. Because I don't like you when you're like this, this is NOT the Lithius I know and love."
"Oh alright Mel, i'm sorry I did that script. I just feel so confused. I don't how you feel or how you do things in this world, i'm just not used to living in anywhere else except Kentville, yeah I know I have multiple universes I reside in but still...i'm just a dog-fish out of water here."
"There there, honey...apology accepted. How about a big koala cuddle?"
"I'd like that..."
Mel opened her arms out and reached over to him, carefully cuddling and embracing him with a signature koala cuddle and gentle massage. She then playfully giggled and hugged him a few times, her hugs had a magical effect on people - but it had always been an interesting notion to wonder what these hugs could do on fellow supernatural creatures, so he petted him and hugged him several more times.
The canine superhero could feel all of his negative emotions and thoughts being cleansed as he began to feel much calmer, his mood began to lighten as he fell into a blissful trance-like state in which he felt like he wanted to know more about her, and more than that...he wanted to know what it was like to be in her shoes. He loved her but he also wanted to know how she was able to defend herself, be so tough and yet so adorable at the same time. He leaned back a little as she kissed him.
Her kiss had a magical effect on him, as his fur slowly turned thickened and became fluffier, turning grey for the most part apart from on his chest which was white, in addition to this his hands shifted to become small semi paw-like ones with two additional thumbs on each one. His chest and torso lost a bit of the musculature as they slimmed down, as his stomach slimmed and became toned - in addition to these changes, two round formations swelled outwards on his chest, threatening to tear his shirt as his back gained an arch of sorts.
His tail shifted from a long, canine looking one into that of a koala as his feet warped in size, dwindling down to match his newly transformed hands, becoming efeminate as well - his hips flared out and enlarged as his privates retracted, being replaced with a vagina of sorts as he slowly altered in height, his shoulders going inward as his hair turned from bluish to a dark tawny brown color. His ears shifted from canine ears into round, fluffy koala-like ones as whitish fur grew around his softening jawline, his eyebrows thinning as his eyes turned from light blue to dark brown, widening as eyelashes blossomed forth.
He couldn't help but make a series of oddly adorable sounds as his half canine muzzle shrank a little bit, his nose shrinking as it blackened until it resembled the same kind of nose that a koala-girl had, he chuckled a bit as his features feminized and altered until he was the perfect copy of Mel herself as his neckline shifted. His voice altering as it became softer and much more gentle in tone.
Happy, calm and even peaceful thoughts flooded his mind as he developed an accent that was a faux mix of British and Australian, but it wasn't stereotypical - and in addition to that, it made him now sound exactly like Sarah Michelle Gellar (the actress that Mel herself would have definitely sounded like if she was in an animated series or movie) His memories and personality shifted several times, as pieces of who he once was faded away to be replaced with new pieces, pieces of memories reflecting that of his new form - or rather her new form.
She remembered that she was a superpowered koala-girl and a younger sister to Mel herself, and that she and Mel were practically twins that shared everything, even the same superpowers. She watched as her hair lengthened until it went to shoulder length, she looked at her reflection in one of her hand mirrors and was immediately awe-struck by how cuddly and adorable she looked.
Sure she wasn't perfect but she didn't mind, she knew that everybody makes mistakes and that people learn from them, she knew that she didn't need to be anything but the wonderful adorkable koala-girl she was. She knew that a lot of people liked her and she didn't have to look far to make friends. Her outfit changing to that of a superwoman cosplay one. Her nails lengthened and sharpened to become her new claws as she cuddled Mel back.
"Thank you, sister Mel...you have given me the best gift a koala could ever have."
"You are most certainly welcome. Now that you are my younger sister and everything, you are going to be able to learn from me and learn about me at the same time. You know what they say, you can never really understand another person until you've walked in someone elses's shoes."
"That is definitely true.."
"Say...what do you want to do now, sister?"
"I want to learn all about what being a koala-girl is like."
"Alright, let's go."
And thus - with that the two Mels hurried off to go and have fun together. The real Mel teaching her new sister how to be a proper koala-girl and how to embrace everything about it, she also taught her all about monsters and pop culture, showing her the sights of the city simply known as Oakendale. And what a wonderful city it was, sure it was filled with monsters and paranormal attacks happened every day of the week but there was no city quite like it.
As for Mel's new sister, she loved being who she was and she loved being a koala-girl. To her there was nothing better than giving koala cuddles, she especially loved bonding with her sister and going to the movies, listening to music and fighting villains. Since both of them had the same superpowers - they were quite a formidable team as well.
Remember my friends, it is true that you can truly never understand anyone until you have been in their position or have walked a mile in their shoes, of course i'm talking about proverbial shoes not actual shoes. But remember, only then can you truly understand that person or monster.
