Monstermaster13 reviews: The Deer Hunter

Monstermaster13 reviews:  The Deer Hunter ------------------------------------------------------ Nathan: Hello everyone...i'm Monstermaster13 and welcome back to the Walken-A-Thon review spectacular.   I have recently gotten a request to review the very movie that made Walken famous for his dark roles to begin with -  The Deer Hunter. This movie came out in 1978 and as such is my mom's absolute favorite Walken movie..so I thought....why not?    It's not only essential for Walken fans in general but this is in fact one of two origins of where the dark and mysterious Walken we know and love came from. This movie is directed by Michael Cimino and is also written by him.   This movie focusses on the vietnam war and the effect it has on the people living in the United States during the time The protagonist is played by a young Robert Deniro and the story focusses around him and other fellow soldiers. I won't go into too much detail with the plot considering eve...

Monstermaster13 reviews: Communion

Monstermaster13 reviews: Communion ---------------------------------------- Nathan: Hello and welcome back to the Walken all year round spectacular....tonight's review is special because it's a sci fi movie based off a book and has aliens in it....no... this is NOT a David Icke book adaptation so there are no 'reptilians'. The movie and book I am of course refering to is Commuinion...it's based on the events in the book by Whitley Striber which are all supposedly true. The movie centers around Strieber who is played by Chris Walken and his family,   as he recalls the encounter he had with a race of alienoid creatures -   via hypnotheory and flashbacks. Reminds me of myself sometimes in which i've had dreams about running into aliens..mainly this was caused by those damn Hulu adverts and people messing with me by claiming they were reptilians...curse them...must they be so cruel? This movie came out in 1989 and is quite an interesting movie...even though it did g...

Monstermaster13 reviews: Romance and Cigarettes

Monstermaster13 reviews:  Romance and Cigarettes --------------------------------------- Nathan: Hello everyone i'm Monstermaster13 and welcome back...or should I say...Walken back to the Walken-A-Thon. The movie i'm reviewing today came out in 2005 and is a musical,   the movie is called Romance And Cigarettes. It's directed by John Turturro and stars an amazing all-star cast including James Gandolfini from my mom's favorite show The Sopranos,   Kate Winslet,  and many more. This is a musical about a man who must decide between his loving wife and a seductress. All of the musical numbers are memorable and the songs are by well known old school singers like Elvis Presley,  Bruce Springsteen and quite a few others as well as Tom Jones. But of course being this is a Walken review....I should probably cut to the chase.   Christopher Walken's character sings the hit song Delilah!  And oh boy is it awesome. For those who don't know what the song is about......

Walken Hypnosis Journal part 1

Image
Dear Monster Journal, It's me, Nathan. You won't believe the night i've been having so far. One minute I was in my lab working on the Walken Hypnosis program and now all of a sudden i'm slowly becoming him. No really i'm turning into Chris Walken..and here's the kicker..i'll be soon forgetting how to turn back to my normal self...in otherwords..i'll be Walken forever. I try to fight the changes but it's just too strong..the sound of the cowbell haunts me..it follows me,  it hypnotizes me.  I just hope that I don't lose my memories of what happened before. I feel so weird..the changes cannot be stopped.  You know..i've dreamed of being Walken before but at least there I could always turn back to myself.  But now there's no escape..I need to get out of here. But..I can't...once one goes Walken...you can't go back.  Soon it might be too late..I might never be the same again. But yet..why can't I stop enjoying this? Oh we...

Werebelushi rants: Racism

Werebelushi rants: Racism ------------------------------------ (We see a male Werebelushi who looks and sounds like John Belushi, he is sitting outside city hall.) Werebelushi: Hello everyone...i'm That Werebelushi In The Shades and welcome to another Werebelushi rant. Today's rant is on racism...and i'm going to mention a few experiences i've had with this sort of thing. The first of which wasn't even a real case of racism at all - it was some jerkass pretending to be of a different nationality online to troll people. It wasn't even real. The second was regarding a scene in Blues Brothers 2000. Look....I already pointed out that I have nothing against African Americans, it's just...THAT scene with Queen Mousette is a Big Lipped Aligator Moment and had nothing to do with the actual plot. It wasn't needed much like that movie in general. I'm surprised Doug Walker has not reviewed this yet. And the most recent is ...

Monstermaster13 reviews: The Dead Zone

Monstermaster13 Reviews:  The Dead Zone ----------------------------------------------------- Nathan: Hello everyone  and welcome back to Double Walken month.   Tonight's review is special for a number of reasons. The main reasons why this is because this movie is not only a Walken movie but it is also an adaptation of a Stephen King story.     Stephen King is known for his spine-tingling horror novels and short stories...as well as being one of the few people to talk some sense into that parasitic waste of life known as Stephanie Myer. I'm here in Maine where most Stephen King stories take place to review the 1983 film The Dead Zone.   This movie is directed by David Cronenberg,  who is known for the use of viceral body horror in  his movie like in Videodrome and Scanners and the Fly with Jeff Goldblum  -  to which,  since then...I have never felt the same about flies.   And the Jinamaroo Xunte episode of Grimm didn't help ei...

Monstermaster13 reviews: Country Bears

Monstermaster13 reviews:  The Country Bears --------------------------------------------- Nathan: Hello everyone i'm Monstermaster13 and welcome back to Double Walken month.   Just because it's nearing the end of the month doesn't mean it's going to end -  Walken never dies out you know. This time I am at Walt Disney World for today's installment.   Before the Pirates of the Carribean franchise and Haunted Mansion -   there were only three movies based on Disney World/Disneyland rides... Mission to Mars,  Tower of Terror,   and the one i'm reviewing today. The movie is the Country Bears...based off the now-defunct ride over at Frontierland.   The movie came out in 2002. The main protagonist is a young bear cub named Beary Bearington -  who is voiced by Haley Joel Osmond,   he was raised by humans.     He is a huge fan of the Country Bear band and runs away from home to meet them. When he gets to Country Bear Hall,   he lea...

Becoming Inhuman II: Metamorphosis

Image
Becoming Inhuman II: Metamorphosis ------------------------------------------------- Following the previous episode....I was ready to rid myself of this pathetic human form once and for all. And with all the necessary precautions taken and the spell taking affect,  it was almost time -  as I got out of bed and turned to Eliza. "So now that it has been done..when do we start hunting?" "You'll see.." "I see..rr...." A low growl escaped from my throat as I looked at her for a few seconds,  I could already feel the changes.    Eliza smiled at me and gave me a look. "Are you ready,  love?" "Yes...but I have a few morrre questions." "Yes?" "Mistress,  when do we start? When I do begin my metamorphosis?" "When the blood red moon rises.." "Good.." Just then I heard another growl,  it was from my stomach  - the Hessian hunger was starting to take hold. "Are you hungry?" "Aaaawrr..yes.....

Becoming Inhuman

Image
Becoming Inhuman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I had become so used to the Hessian Hex curse that I was enjoy it,   becoming the Hessian was great -  it made me feel powerful and strong,  like nothing could ever stop me from going on my rampage. That is apart from one thing...having to revert to human form once the blood moon went back behind the cloud,   and not being allowed to drink blood when around Ariana,   I understand she was trying to look out for my safety so that I wouldn't kill anyone but she didn't understand what I was going through. I needed blood in order to survive...to keep my strength up...the more I stayed as a human...the more I wanted to be the Hessian and to stay that way.   I didn't want to be cured. One night I came to Eliza for help,    I knew if there was one creature who could do it - it would be her. "Aaaargh...being human is horrible.  I can't stand it." "Nathan...I kn...
