Hello one and all, it is I, That Werebelushi In The Shades here with another rant. This time it is on something that almost everyone else except for people who don't go online can agree on..

You know what really makes me pissed off at the universe? Memes! Internet memes are so irritating and unfunny. Sure they're really funny at first but they get repeative and it gets REAL annoying.

For example, the facepalm. Many people associate this meme with Patrick Stewart and for good or in this case bad reason, he helped make this gesture into a full blown - or in this case overblown meme.

I am NOT bashing Patrick Stewart, I think he's a fantastic actor. But I don't think that being one of the originators of the facepalm meme is a good claim to fame. I'm sorry, but Picard - you are an asshole for helping make that meme exist.

Then there's the others like "U Mad?" to which I respond with: "Well duh, of course i'm mad your moron. I wouldn't be ranting if I wasn't mad now would I?" then there's Learn2insertphraseortermhere. How about learn2beoriginalandstopusingmemereferencnes?

Whenever people most likely trolls can't think of original comebacks, they result to insults or meme referencnes.

I mean....I can do it myself. Lolcats, U MAD, So I Herd U Liek Mudkips, What The Fuck Is This Shit, *Facepalm*, Trolololol, Mah Boi, Mama Luigi, "What The Fuck Boooom" See? Annoying isn't it? Of course it is!

Honestly the many times the facepalm has been overrused makes ME want to do it myself, and if I hear or see U Mad one more time i'll go berserk and poke someone's eyes out with my quills!

The only good memes in my opinion are Chuck Norris jokes and anything spawned from Thatguywiththeglassess.

These are the TGWTG memes that I really like: "I AM A MAN!" *punch*, the *in a deep voice* Big Lipped Aligator Moment, Puppies (Kids: Yaaaay!), *holds hands up in the air* 'Symbolism!', and BAT CREDIT CARD? A BAT CREDIT CARD?

Those are the only good memes in my opinion, everything else can go to hell, including the facepalm and U Mad. PS: Chuck Norris jokes never get old if you ask me. Neither do Bruce Campbell references.

Well those and TVTropes. I'm especially fond of the Nightmare Fuel and Body Horror pages. But I wouldn't suggest reading them before bed.

I have no problem with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and it's references, neither do I have a problem with Deviantart memes or TGWTG, but all those other internet memes can just go to hell. The Y U Know meme is okay with me though, same goes for Yugioh the Abridged Series.

I mean...the internet will just make a meme out of anything, not just anything from the media either - it can be anything.

I mean even the stupidest little thing could become a meme like someone dropping a pencil on the ground, that's how ridiculous this whole meme mutation thing has become.

I'm sorry but if this is what's become of the internet, nothing but unfunny memes that were funny to begin but got annoying later and grotesque porn and shock sites - then I dread to think of what the internet of the future will be like.
