Piff’s Not So Good Wednesday Adventure.

NOTE: This is a story told from Piff’s point of view explaining what it’s like helping Mel and keeping herself safe and also it is satirical.

Hello humans and all creatures above and below the ocean,  Piff here. I’ve got a brand new adventure for you, and well because you know that i’m the best at fishy storytelling it is time for me to tell the story, the adventure began on Wednesday the 1st of July 2026 and my owner Mel had just gotten up after a sleep in and well she couldn’t wait for an adventure today.

After we had breakfast and a shower I told Peanut (who is my best pal who looks just like me) that we were going to have an adventure, he couldn’t wait and we spent a bit of time getting ready before Mel put her shoes on.  Mel had been asking for us to go to Albany because she had been searching for a Fuggler, specifically one based on Mojo Jojo,  the villain from Powerpuff Girls.

We all got ready and hopped in the orange floating car that took us all the way to Albany, and we were all super excited to see if we could find and when he arrived in Albany, that’s where the adventure began.  As we entered the mall Mel decided to show us the way to K-Mart but before Mel discovered some Jellycats, they were very pricey but Mel said she liked a few of them like the lobster and ‘Rockleton’,   we entered K-Mart and while Rachel and Ozgur went to go get things for her,  we looked around the toy section.

Mel was determined to find one of those Fugglers and normally there would be a huge section of us to explore but there was only that one Elvis looking one and some alley cat ones and some backpack ones, and there just didn’t seem to be much there.  I sighed, silently praying that Mel would find a friend but alas it was not to be,  we saw some snackles and squishmallows including the one fish snackle Mel was looking for, but nothing seemed to appeal to her.

I was determined to help her with something and would do whatever I could do to help her, but sometimes, sometimes it’s hard to do it.  Usually in a place like Glenfield there were all sorts of places to find friends but Albany was definitely very difficult and hard to find friends in, I sighed as I looked around,  hoping that maybe just one thing would be there.  Mel sighed as she tried to think…’Well I do not know, I don’t know if I can think of another friend to buy.’  ‘Why not?’ ‘Because this section is too disorganized and I cannot find anyone here.’

Mel sighed as she tried to continue looking but nothing was there, and we all headed by the checkout to go and buy some clothes -  and we headed out of K-Mart and headed to Farmers, when we looked in Farmers,  I was very confused, this was not the Farmer’s I was familiar with, it was mostly all clothes and beauty things and no toys - no, the toys were on the bottom floor and it was very hard to get there.

There was an escalator there but Mel shook her head, saying that she didn’t feel comfortable going on it,  but that was alright, as we eventually found the lift and we went to go look around at the toys on the bottom floor,  it was very different than at Glenfield, but we saw many friends there including palm pals (sadly there were no members of Aivyyan’s species) and squishmallows, and it was good seeing them all.  But there was no friend that Mel wanted to be, even though she did find some of them to be cute or funny.

We headed back in the lift which took us back to the top floor and we made our way towards the exit, and I had plans on having sushi for lunch but unfortunately because Mel was rushed into making a decision, she ultimately didn’t want the sushi this time and so we all headed out of the mall and headed in the car.  Mel silently cried to herself,  but at the same she knew she was not missing much. 

So we all headed off and we got Mcdonalds on the way home instead, and Mel made friends with two new Fifa Squishmallow pals,  one was a cat and the other was a pineapple and Mel smiled, that was the one thing that made her day.  We all went home after that and when the floating car stopped we all arrived back at Nile Road.

Upon arriving back we had an okay time and had afternoon tea before we all ordered pizza for dinner which was delicious,  and after dinner we relaxed, Mel emailed Jill about our adventure as I tried to go fishing with Tangie but failed to catch more than one fish, which made me sad as well and I was a very sad fish.

But luckily we all played game and relaxed for a couple of hours, as Tangie comforted me and we did some relaxing activities like bathbomb  sniffing, ASMR, imagination sessions and ‘guess the bathbomb scent’ followed by Corey putting on his bat pajamas and Oats putting on his princess nightgown,  we all brushed our teeth before I gave fishing a second short and caught two fish this time.

I activated the closedown sequence featuring the animated fish couple floating in a virtual dreamland as the background shifted from day to night as their clothes became night-clothes and the goodnight message materialized on screen.  I floated into bed and kissed Tangie as I said…’Because my owner had a disappointing day today and didn’t want to narrate this she asked me to do it for her and I agreed.  And well I don’t blame her,   I love that Peanut got to go with me and I love that this is another part of the sleepover mini-series saga but I don’t think it belongs with the other adventures.  I liked it fine but i guess we need another adventure soon, and i’m hoping the next one will be better, goodnight.’

And with that Anglo turned off the light as they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams as their adventure came ot an end, and I had sweet dreams as well,  well that was one adventure Mel was glad was over and so did I but at least all was actually going to be right in the end, I hope, stay tuned for more.
