~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The dynamic between good and evil goes way back and sometimes goes to multitudes of generations. Such as the case of the school featured in today's story, there were two Disney themed schools in the city of Oakendale..the Happily Everafter Institute for Disney Heroes and the Baron Von Terrible Academy For Villains. Baron was the dean of the latter and he was a failed companion to a hero whose inventinos came across as more harmful than helpful, appearance-wise he looked like a human crossed with a gargoyle and while he did look frightening, he was actually terrible at doing anything remotely evil (hence his nickname). He always hated the rival school's teachers because they were better than the others and always winning, which annoyed him...he wanted to win, he didn't want to get laughed at anymore, he had a history of being ridiculed by the teacher's council members because of his numerous failed attempts and nobody taking him seriously as a villain. He was in his office one afternoon, sulking as he flicked through his list of contacts. 'Another day, another defeat at the hands of that stupid hero school. I don't get it, I send all my best minions and monsters after the Disney hero students but nothing works.' 'Well sir, they're just better than us.' 'No they're not, they're just better than us because they are heroes and we are the enemies and we're supposed to fail, that's what happens all the time.' 'True, but we have some good wicked students here too.' 'Are you nuts? Are you suggesting that we send the students out to fight them again? Half of the parents are complaining that their children don't get to win at these things.'
"I'm just saying we could get an opening for a new teacher."
"A new teacher?"
"Yes...a new teacher, someone who we can get to assist us."
"But who would agree to work for us?"
"I think I know who..."
Baron's little snake-like assistant chuckled to himself as he spied someone walking down the hall, it was Roderick...Roderick was a substitute staff member but only part time, he had only been working there for a few weeks and he was a favorite among the teachers since he was extremely good at multiple different tasks and knew how to pulll a plan together, despite not being a villain himself he worked for several villains in the past. Roderick had short brownish hair with a few silver stripes in it, which was an artistiic choice and made him look like he was much older than he actually was, the grey stripes made him look like he was in his 50's or 60's, when he was actually he in his early 40's. 'Roderick, my dear boy.' 'Yes...' 'How would you like a promotion?' 'I like the idea a lot.'
"Follow us then, we've got just the thing for you."
"Alright, after you."
The snake-like assistant showed Roderick to the lab area of the classroom and handed him a special elixir...'Is this elixir part of the promotion?' 'Yes, we are going to make you an official teacher.' He questioned this at first but he took the elixir from the assistant and drank it, and as he did be began to feel a tingling sensation...greyish fur was slowly covering his arms which thickened quite a bit as his hands change in size, a pair of elegant white lab gloves materializing on them as the fur covered the rest of his body. His clothing slowly turned into an elegant looking black suit as his body bulked up to match his arms, which he didn't mind...he was used to seeing the school's staff members transforming people into different forms. He examined his body as his legs altered a little and a long rodentine tail slowly emerged out of his rear. His shoulders and back broadened as a cape materialized behind him, making him look rather villainous but also dashing and like he definitely belonged at the school. In addition to his hair slowly turned black as he gained quite a bit of 5 o clock shadow around his jaw-line while his ears slowly shifted and rounded out, looking more rodentine as his eyes widened, turning a piercing shade of yellow as his teeth sharpened but also glistened, his face slowly pushed out into a rodent-like muzzle as he recognized his new look, a few lines materialized around his eyes as he took on the appearance of a certain criminal of the rodentine variety, which he didn't mind. As his voice deepend and altered, becoming a suave velvetine sounding voice and turning into a replica of the voice of the character he was turning into, that character just happened to be Ratigan and as such his voice sounded like Vincent Price.
His mind and personality altered and he remembered he was Professor Ratigan, and that he also was a new teacher that had been picked and out of the candidates that had been offered the position, he was the one that won because naturally he was the most talented one and he actually hit it off well with the students. The snake-like assistant was proud of this accomplishment as the new Ratigan's transformation had finished itself abd he was ready to help with the new assignment. 'Ah you must be the new teacher.' 'Yes, my name is Ratigan. I believe I know your boss and your boss chose me to help teach one of the classes.' 'Indeed he did. We could use with some help in the strategy class to help organize the plans, our monster-making students seem to be extremely good at creating monsters but their monsters always end up being defeated and we need a new strategy for getting that Disney hero school in trouble.' 'Well I might be able to be of some assistance.'
"Follow me then..."
Ratigan followed the snake-man that served as the Baron's assistant, heading down the hallways of the school until they arrived at the classroom with the sign that read 'Villainous strategy class' on it. The doors opened as if by supernatural magic and the students were all setting at their desks ready for their lesson. 'Ah hello there. I am your teacher Professor Ratigan, and i'm here to teach you all about how to formulate a plan that is sure to get the opposing school in trouble without fail.' 'You sound like an awesome teacher.' 'That's because I naturally am one.' And thus with that, the new lesson was in session and the class started to learn new things from him, including how to create inventions that would help the villainous students in their quest to humilate the hero school's ones, several monster-making and experimentation classes and not to mention the best lesson of all, how to make sure your plan goes off without fail and how to get minions who are willing to stay around and not mess things up with.
"Alright class, now who here knows how to use machines?"
"I do, I do.."
"Good...now you will be needing that key in the back to activate your tinkertoy minion."
As for what happened later, the new Ratigan was now a permanent part of the Baron Von Terrible Academy and he was the Baron's favorite, the Baron took a liking to his teaching methods and style and knew he could count on the newest addition. He also proved to be quite a skilled monster-maker and inventor himself, especially when he demonstrated his living tinker-toy warriors. These tinker-toy roles were made to resemble mutated bat-monsters and he sent them out to spy on the class of the Happily Everafter Institute, one particular teacher of that school in particular, a certain mousy detective who was the school's criminology professor. Those two had an odd relationship, well I say relationship in the same way as a Batman and Joker relationship, only with two rodent-like professors of two rival schools who fought each-other constantly.
