Nathan never forgot his teacher/muse Scott, Scott was not only an exercise teacher but an art teacher and it was partially thanks to him and Heather that he was introduced to Labyrinth and thus the obsession began to take over Nathan in a slow and gradual manner. One day Nathan wanted to repay Scott for being such a good influence, so that night he sent him a Blu-Ray player with the newest Blu-Ray copy of the movie along with a special remote control that he got from a store, he didn't say which store it was from, just that it was an extra special store.
Scott opened up the package containing the blu-ray and turned on the player, he carefully inserted the blu-ray into the player and sat back as the movie and the remote activated. As he picked up the remote, he found it incredibly easy to use and with many different functions to it but there was one option on it that he didn't know existed, the 'complete experience' option. He was always quite a brave man anyway so he always up for a chance, he selected the option and chose to become a character from the film.
"This is a piece of cake.." He chuckled to himself.
It all went swimmingly until the remote glowed with a supernatural aura that transferred itself into him, he began to feel a tingling sensation all over his body as his skin slowly lightened as it softened and smoothened, losing its imperfections and even touches like his slight 5'o clock shadow went away. His chest slowly started to slim down in size as two round formations formed on them, these formations swelled out into a pair of breasts as his stomach slimmed, he thought the transformation would be painful but it didn't seem that bad. His shoulders shrank inwards as his neckline lengthened, while his arms lengthened and slimmed, his hands dwindled down in size as his feet slowly followed suit, his sneakers shrinking a little to support his new feet.
The changes spread over to his hips as his hips widened and his legs lengthened, his privates retracted and were replaced with the more feminine variant as his back slimmed as well, arching a little as his hair slowly turned from dark brown to jet black, extending as his hairline extended down to his shoulders and his normally quite messy hair had become straighter, as his eyebrows slimmed and his eyes turned from dark brown to green, his eyes widened as eyelashes blossomed forth around them. His face slowly began to soften as his cheekbones rose and his lips plumped up a little, his face slowly morphing itself into that of a gorgeous woman as his sweatshirt turned into a white vest with an intricate design on the front and his pants slowly turned blue and became the jeans to go with them.
His voice slowly elevated in pitch and tone, softening to become womanly but also full of fiery attitude and with a sweet tone to it, also developing a bit of an accent to it as it matched his appearance. He recognized his new appearance and voice in an instant, he recognized the outfit and long black hair and beautiful green eyes, and the accent and voice too...he looked and sounded like Jennifer Connolly as Sarah, the main heroine in the movie. He felt a series of strange sensations take over from the inside as he began to remember being born as this character, and also how she had a half-brother named Toby that she at first hated so much that she wanted him to be taken away by goblins, and most of all he or now she began to remember her wish working and summoning a rather fantastic character called 'the goblin king', she remembered the king's name too...it was Jareth, and she remembered that he lived in a castle, and had goblins for minions. She remembered getting some new friends, mainly a beast named Ludo, a curmudgeonly but friendly goblin named Hoggle, a worm with blue hair and a scarf, a fox-like knight named Sir Diddymus (and his loyal steed/canine Ambrosius) and a variety of creatures including crazy looking fire-bird creatures called Fieries. She remembered that her name was Sarah and all about her experiences in the labyrinth and about her fantastic journey, and she learned so much from that. A few minutes later, Scott had gone deep into the proverbial underground and Sarah had taken his place.
Sarah looked at herself for a little bit before fixating her eyes on what she saw on the screen, she was watching her own adventure play out in movie form and she was loving ever second of it, but she did feel a little bit flustered whenever Jareth appeared...mainly because she felt foolish for having turned him down, luckily though a few years later after the adventure had ended she had met up with him again and decided to help him with his new idea. Now that Toby was a teenager he was taking magic lessons from Jareth on a regular basis along with Jareth's daughter Jacquelyn who was attending Monster High. She and Jareth remained good friends, and she knew that whenever she needed him or any of her other labyrinth-world friends all she had to do was say the words.
"Looking back at my adventure, I have to admit that I certainly did have a lot of fun. And I learned a few lessons too. And I think that my students should watch this adventure of mine too. I think they'd love to see what I was like when I was younger." She responded, chuckling to herself a little bit.
Thus, she decided to send a message to the other students in the drama class...inviting them all over to watch with her. Which of course they did but little did she know that they became more than just fascinated with this adventure, they wanted to see all of it for themselves and wanted to share it with their friends. She told them all about her journal and also of how she met all her friends and how she met her friend Jareth, and she explained everything to them. Of course she was always the best at teaching them about going on magical adventures.
And with that her class all became enthralled with her tale and they wanted more, even though time had passed immensely since her journey she still had that energetic spirit and that love for adventures and fantasy that made her the woman she is today. Becoming a teacher had been a blessing for her in many ways, she taught her students extremely well and her students loved her no matter what she did, she even introduced them to Ludo and Sir Diddymus. She even taught them how to do the dance she saw the Fieries do and even how to make their own mini Labyrinths.
As for what happened later, they had an all-night session and got to sleep in special rooms that were themed around the adventure they had watched and were told about. She even had all her friends there to comfort them including a few goblins. Before turning out the lights, she looked out the window and she saw a necklace and next to that necklace was an owl statue with glowing eyes and a goblin that was standing next to the statue. "Ah, perfect...she got the Blu-Ray and the remote." the goblin said to himself. "I know that Nathan is going to be pleased about this." The little goblin scurried off with the necklace as the statue levitated in mid air.
Remember my friends, you are never too old to believe in fantastic adventures and mythical creatures. You are never too old to believe in monsters and you are never too old to relive the adventures you had in your childhood either. After all, there's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes.
