TftW: Foxy Lady.

TftW: Foxy Lady.
Sydney Fox (Relic Hunter) tg.
NOTE:
Since I dreamed of someone tging into Tia Carrere in Relic Hunter once,  I have decided to do this story in which that happens, of course this is also based on personal experiences that i've been through and people that I have dealt with who just tend to overthink things a bit too much.   Also this brings up the inspiration behind the stories as a whole and how you're not supposed to root for the characters in shows like Tales From The Crypt.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
We all know those types who think they are above criticism and that they are hot stuff,  the types that try to make you look stupid by portraying your work in a bad light,  these type of people will do anything and will act like they are above it all.    This one user that Nathan knew acted like that and it was just plain annoying.    One night while playing a Monster RP with said user,   Nathan had decided to send someone in to teach this user a lesson and that somebody was his anthro marsupial friend Mel.
Mel dropped in on his RP session using a special headset and appeared on the screen to personally teach them how to behave and how to do a  proper TftW episode,  you see this user had done a poorly written TftW episode that pretty much had them portray themselves as a badass while everyone else was written as idiots.   This user was Cole Dawson aka CDKAndroidX,  a rather scruffy and weird-looking dude whose avatar was of a character with lupine features despite not being a werewolf.
"Cole..we need to talk."
"What about?"
"When Nathan said you could write your own TftW show episode,  he meant that you could write one as long as it's a good episode.   This episode you've written isn't good and for many reasons.   First of all,  it's a glorified self insert episode with you as the main character and you're not a very likable lead role."
"What?"
"Also...you portray yourself as being a badass.  Yet the only half badass thing you did was that cheesy one-liner towards the end.   You pretty much spend the entirety of the episode playing a cat and mouse game with a werecreature,  specifically a werebelushi family member,  acting paranoid,  and trying to shoot the poor thing despite not knowing if the creature was evil or not."
"Yeah but that creature was like intruding in my house and he could have gotten arrested, I was being rational and using my brain.   Besides,  that thing was obviously evil.  How else could you explain the glowing eyes and the 'make you one of us' thing?  I was being realistic and logical."
"Dude,   the TftW series is a tv show which involves monsters,  tfs,  hypnosis and other mystical elements and it is a horror/sci fi/fantasy anthology series.   Realism and logic? There's no place for that in this particular tv series.  Remember,  you said the same thing about the Goldilocks retelling episode using the 'villains have a point' excuse.  The werebears in that episode were NOT the actual villains,  Goldie's boss Giles Colbert was and because of his own fear of  bears in general."
"But what about that werejohncandy episode...isn't Chumsley technically kidnapping and brainwashing that woman into becoming the same species as him?   Because that is what it looked like to me. It looked like kidnapping."
"First of all it was NOT kidnapping,  the main character in the episode was a huge fan of a tv show and she won a competition to be on the show,  it is explained that shows-within-the-show exist in the Monster World.   Also...brainwashing?  Chumsley is a good guy,  ALL Werejohncandies are good guys -  except Boris.   He used his powers to help her and transport her into the world of his show."
"What about making her his girlfriend?"
"That's not how it went at all,  there was no brainwashing involved,  basically he gave her a  big hug,  his species have supernaturally strong hugs.  Which made her feel good and cheerful and turned her into the female werejohncandy character known as Cassie.  And you thought he was kidnapping and brainwashing her despite the fact that he's you know...a good guy?  I'm sorry but you really suck when it comes to judgement."
"But.."
"But nothing...in addition to this the episode makes no sense even from a monster-logic stand-point.     Are we supposed to be sympathize with you?  Because I don't sympathize with paranoid nutcases.    If the werecreature in the episode according to your logic even though you didn't know which alignment he was...then I would hate to find out what your take on other characters would be."
"Huh?"
"I mean knowing you,  you would probably have had it so Edward in Edward Scissorhands is immediately killed because he is a monster despite having a soul.  Or have it so that one of the characters in the Circus Freaks episode is killed off for no good reason other than they were creepy looking."
"So?"
"Your sense of judgement is awful.  Also...you aren't badass in the slightest if you just try and shoot someone for no reason apart from 'get off of my property'.   And who do you think you're fooling with the tough guy act?"
"Well..."
"Also...terrible choice of one-liner.  A reference to a song from a Disney movie which is essentially an adaptation of a classic fairy tale?   That's like making your battle cry I'm A Little Teapot or making your catchphrase a reference to a musical like Annie or Oliver.   Imagine if someone made their action-hero catchphrase 'It's A Hard Knock Life'."
"But..."
"No more buts,  you have clearly shown you cannot do a good TftW episode to save your life yet alone to entertain people.  People who obviously deserved a better episode than the one you gave them.   Clearly you don't know how to function in the Monster World.  You don't know what the word bad-ass means either."
"I'm sorry.."
"Sorry isn't good enough.  It's time for you to learn your lesson."
The koala-girl known as Mel gave a sly smile before dragging him over and glaring at him with her eyes,   he tried to look away but he simply couldn't,  he slowly but surely began to lower his defenses and he drifted off into a trance-like state as she pulled him over once more and began to cuddle him with her supernatural hugs.   As he was hugged by her,  he began to feel a series of unusual sensations jolting through his body,  he heard a slurping/sucking sound as his skin imperfections slowly retracted and faded away, his skin smoothening and taking on an exotic looking Flippino skintone.
His arms lost their mass as they slimmed and lengthened,  his hands contorting and dwindling in size as his fingernails lengthened and extended.  In addition to this his back cracked a bit and developed an arch of some kind.   With a crunching sound his legs slowly altered to match his arms as his feet shrank.  His torso and chest slimmed down as two formations known as breasts developed on them,  he blushed slightly as he felt them bouncing up and down.
His clothing peeled away as if was being eaten by moths,  slowly reforming itself into a khaki adventurer's attire as his hips expanded,  he yelped as with a pulling sensation his privates were retracted into his groin and were replaced by the more womanish equivalent as his shoulders folded inward,  his hair slowly turning from brown to black as it grew past his shoulders in general.   His eyebrows thinning as his cheekbones sharpened and his eyes widened a bit,  eyelashes blossoming around them while his nose shrank and his lips plumped up,  his features slowly morphing and reshaping themselves into a very exotic looking womanly set.
"I don't think this is entirely fair.  I mean punishment via transformation just seems cruel to me.
I mean what will happen to my memories?  This just is not fair and it is not nice.  I mean i'm practically going to lose my identity and possibly die.   This is just cruel and very unfair if you ask me.  It's just not fair."
"Neither was the episode you wrote and starred in and that episode ALSO was cruel and mean-spirited.  Plus you're looking way too hard into this.   I mean why do you have to view episodes like the body-switching demoness episode as being ones in which a person getting a new personality and form as being akin to losing your identity and dying anyway?  Do you have some kind of ongoing thing where you bring up death and loss of identity in your works or something?"
"What?  That's not true."
"What about the Heehaw of the Weredonkey episode of Night Of Alterations? That episode pretty much was the entire Pleasure Island scenario with people getting punished by being turned into were-donkeys.  You wrote that one too.   And that episode pretty much had perfectly likable people as the victims."
"But the early episodes of TftW did that too.."
"Ummm...I don't think you get the point and reason behind the show doing that.  You do realize that TftW is basically inspired by Tales From The Crypt, right?  If you don't,  allow me to explain it to you.  Tales From The Web IS very much like the Tales From The Crypt tv series, and let me tell you...a LOT of characters in that show usually did deserve the punishments that they got,  as most of them were indeed unlikable.  Like Ezra from the Fitting Punishment episode for example."
"Oh?"
"Yeah and internet trolls and the like ARE unlikable,  you're not supposed to sympathize with people like that not even for lulz.  Because they are horrible people that have nothing better to do than prey on others like the bloodsucking parasites that they are,  and above all, you're not supposed to root for them."
"I guess you're right.."
His voice elevated in pitch and tone to become higher and more feminine,  also becoming rather seductive as it matched his appearance,  now he looked and sounded like the character Sydney Fox from the tv show Relic Hunter -  which is to say he looked and sounded a lot like Tia Carrere.   His mind and memories shifted until they underwent several alterations and became Sydney's,   a few seconds later she remembered that she was Sydney Fox and that she had been brought on to help Mel with a special quest.   Mel gave Sydney a couple of items and a cantine and smiled.
"Of course i'm right...now come on."
"So what are we going to do now?"
"Explore..it's what we are good at."
"Right.."
And so with that Sydney and Mel continued on their little adventure,  going to various different locations in order to find new treasures.   The two of them bonded as a duo and fought alongside when things get tough and they truly were the best of friends,  sticking together no matter what,  furthermore proving to be quite a formidable duo when handling supernatural activity that was in their world.
As for what happened later,   you could definitely say that Sydney was a brand new-woman and that she never looked back and she never ever brought up what it was that brought her here either as she had mostly forgotten the latter,  it didn't matter to her because she was fine with everything as it currently was.
Remember my friends,  sometimes it's not a good idea to act like you are above criticism and also to overthink things,  some things just don't need to be thought too much into and are just made to be enjoyed for what they are.   Also,  don't ever that one user who just questions everything and isn't satisfied or tries to overcompensate by portraying themselves as a 'badass' in their own stories,  that's just stupid and in the end only makes you look like an idiot rather than the 'hero' you portray yourself as.
