Dreams are peculiar things, some times there are good dreams and some times we have nightmares but there is nothing more peculiar than a dream that actually does come true, in which case it can be extra interesting. Such as the case of Brandon Kerr, one night he was asleep in his bed when he was having dreams/visions of a temple and of what appeared to be extremely attractive monkey-girls and a couple of gorilla-women, the visions also included him - he was human to start with but found himself turning into an anthro gorilla and not just any anthro gorilla though, but Alakonra. That legendary king with psychic powers and a powerful voice.
He has having visions of not just being in his world but also becoming him as well, he couldn't stop thinking about it and the more he thought about it, the more he wanted it to happen and it was something he couldn't resist no matter what. When he awoke from his dream/vision, he decided to take a look around just to make sure that this was in fact the waking world and he was not dreaming, of course things began to take a turn for the surreal once the environment around him shifted, becoming the interior of a temple.
"Woah..."
"Greetings...we've been waiting for you."
"You have?"
"Yes..."
A lanky and rather attractive looking monkey-woman dressed in a flowing robe was standing right next to him, she looked like she was some kind of priestess or even royalty. She seemed to know about him, quite a lot in fact. She told him that there was something she needed him to do for her, and it was extremely important and vital. She showed him to the throne room and guided him to where the throne was.
"Now what is it you want me to do?"
"Sit on this throne please..."
"Okay then.."
He slowly moved his way over to the throne and sat upon it, as she got out a special tool and etched a marking on his right arm, she chanted as supernatural energy began to jolt through him and his DNA slowly started to alter as black fur slowly spread across his arms while his hands enlarged, his arms broadened and gained musculature as his skin darkened to a dark greyish tone. He slowly grew taller as the fur slowly coated the rest of his body while his chest and torso broadened with musculature, his clothing shifting into a royal crimson and gold outfit of sorts as his back and shoulders altered.
His hair slowly turned jet black and lengthened, growing longer as the fur reached his neckline and his face, his eyes widening and darkening a bit as his feet slowly shifted to become hand-like, already in his mind he was starting to think such delightfully powerful thoughts as he was remembering being more ape than human. His brow thickened as his canines sharpened and his features shifted to become more ape-like, a crown of sorts appearing on his head as he was remembering a life of royalty. He flexed for a few seconds as his voice deepened and gruffened, but took on a regal and badass tone while his mindset finished shifting, he remembered a lot more - including his name, he remembered being called Alakonra and that he was a king.
He looked around, feeling rather proud of himself as he took a glance over at what appeared to be a visitor of sorts, that visitor being Diddy, nephew of dear ol Donkey Kong. He used his powers to float over to him and bring him closer. Diddy took one look into the anthro gorilla king's legendary eyes and began to fall into a trance-like state, as he was taken to a special coronation area. Once there, Alakonra etched a marking on Diddy's shoulder that matched his own as supernatural energy flowed through his body. More than that, Diddy in general slowly altered and transformed, transforming from being monkey-like into being more like an anthro gorilla as his fur blackened and he grew taller, gaining musculature while his clothing shifted into a royal prince-like costume of sorts with matching cape, gradually his appearance shifted to look like a slightly younger version of Alakonra as his mind and memories shifted.
His mind and memories were now changing to reflect his new form, memories of being like a son to Alakonra and being a prince, an anthro gorilla warrior prince named Issaciah, who was training to be just like his father. He fully accepted his changes as his mind shifted as well as his voice, and when it was fully completed, he rushed over to his father and hugged him tightly.
"I'm here, father. And i'm glad you are here. Because I have so much to tell you."
"We have a lot of things to catch up on. Why don't you sit over here with me and we can talk about it together? I think that it would be excellent for us to catch up. Come and have a seat with me."
He made his way over to Alakonra's throne and sat down with him, the two of them talked for several hours and spent the night together. The monkey-woman from before made her way over into the throne room to go and speak to him, it was obvious that there was one more task that he had in store for her to do.
"Is there anything I can do for you, Alakonra?"
"Why yes Mai-leesha, there is."
"Tell me what it is.."
Alakonra told her of his plan and the new task he had in mind for her to do, she listened closely and picked up all of the hints and instructions, she smiled as the anthro gorilla king spoke with his son the prince known as Issaciah. She slinked off and headed over to the city of Oakendale. Meanwhile, over in Oakendale - Nathan was in his apartment and he was getting ready for bed, he had a long night and he was trying his best to get some sleep but it was rather difficult to.
She slinked over to the room he was located and left a piece of fan-mail by the door, Nathan picked it up and examined it, it appeared to have been written in solid golid letters and with a special note attached to it. Curious, he took a glance at it and then scoffed for a few seconds afterwards as she slinked off once again.
"Hmmm...this letter. It says...'Hello there, Trumpty. I just wanted to send this to you , I am a huge fan of your work ' Is this some kind of joke? Doesn't this person know that Trumpty isn't real and that he's just a monster that appears in my nightmares? Oh well, I must say it is quite humorous though."
And thus with that he put the letter down as he turned on his favorite relaxation time song which was the Kermit The Frog song Rainbow Connection before adjusting his night-clothes and sleeping position before hugging his favorite plush horse and drifting off to sleep, having peaceful dreams as he did so. He didn't have to worry about much, considering it was just one letter, of course what he didn't know was that the letter was given to him by Mai-leesha, courtesy of the anthro gorilla/warrior king himself.
As for what happened later, he slept peacefully...at least for the time being, he sighed as he looked around, the only monsters to be seen were in his wardrobe and under the bed and most importantly, in his dreams and he knew that he was safe in his dream-land from those monsters, safe that is...safe for now.
Remember my friends, dreams are indeed strange and bizarre things that don't make sense and sometimes they are good and sometimes they are nightmares. But remember, nothing that comes out at you in your dreams can hurt you. And so I leave you with these chilling final words to end this little tale out on, the dark side is always there, waiting for us to enter, waiting to enter us, until next time...try and enjoy the daylight.
