--------------------------------------
There had been reports of a mysterious creature living within the waters of Blackpool, a creature with a knack for causing trouble and constantly appearing in the news. This creature was humanoid, but no one knew what it looked like. It had always remained a mystery, even to this day.
All they knew is that it had long scraggly hair, was tall and lithe and was a bit of a womanizer in addition to being cunning and highly intelligent. But any attempts to capture this creature had been complete failures.
That is until today, one night while wandering through the hidden floors of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a worker named Ross came across a hidden cove. This part had not been discovered by anyone else except for him.
Upon discovering the hidden cove, out of curiosity - he decided to go and take a look inside it, but once he got inside, the doors of the cove slammed shut in a mysterious manner and he could not get out.
There was practically no place for him to run to or hide, and it was not like he had time to escape - in fact, the only place where he could possibly make an escape was through the curved pipe on the far left corner.
“Oh well...since I have no choice. Here goes nothing!”
He held his breath and dived down the curved pipe, making his way towards what he assumed was the way out. And just in time, as he could sense something coming in his direction.
Quickly, he made his way over to where the exit was and made his escape, but just when he thought he had made it through all the way safely - he lost his balance and ended up falling in a pool of water that was all tinted black but yet had a radioactive glow.
The sign near it read “Danger: Lonely Water. Only a fool would be stupid enough to swim in this”, now Ross wasn’t stupid - far from it, he was actually quite smart, it’s just that he was not too good when it came to water safety. Despite the fact he was a former lifeguard and everything.
He held his breath as he splashed around, trying to get out before the black water could get any nearer, which luckily he did. But there was another surprise that awaited him, as he narrowly avoided the deep end of the pool - a black inky shadow-like creature emerged and intoned in a deep, calming voice:
“I am the spirit of lonely water. And you have fallen in my pool.”
“I didn’t mean to.”
“Those who fall in my pool, and don’t drown - are given an extraordinary gift.”
“And what gift is that?”
“You will see in due time.”
The shadow-like creature or ‘Spirit’ wrapped itself around Ross’s body and wrapped its long arms around his shoulders, before transferring some of its powers to him. Miraculously, Ross was now able to live on land and in water like an amphibian and could communicate to aquatic creatures.
He felt a lot stronger and more agile as well, not to mention he had become a much better swimmer in terms of his aquatic survival skills. It made him feel more free spirited and more mischievous as well.
“Thank you, spirit.”
“I knew you’d like it. And I know that you’ll love what else I can do for you.”
“Such as?”
“If you let me guide you and enhance you even more with my powers, then you will see the possibilities coming to fruition.”
“Okay...but will this hurt?”
“A little...but it shouldn’t bother you.”
The Spirit of Dark and Lonely Water swam around before pulling Ross towards him - before slinking over to him and merging with him, infusing him even more with his powers - which in turn caused a watery circle to materialize around him.
The watery circle glowed a dark neon bluish colour, illuminating the pool of black water and giving it an even more unearthly glow, which was now reminiscent of something out of an old monster movie.
He convulsed and shook several times as the effects of the infusion began to take place, the waves of glowing black water intensifying in his presence Sharp pains surged through his body, but he didn’t really mind it all that much - he kind of liked it.
Ross watched as he saw his own clothes melt away, as his shirt reformed into a black leather top that was partially open - exposing his chest, which was also developing a rather fine coat of black chest hair. His skin turned a much lighter colour in the process.
His jeans melted away next as more pain jolted through his body - but this pain was a lot more mild than the last - the melted remains of his jeans morphed and reshaped themselves into a pair of black leather pants with various belts on them. His sandals evaporated and reformed into a pair of knee high black boots.
Thoughts of causing trouble and flirting with adult females clouded his mind, easily dulling out the rest of the pain that was jolting through his body, by this point - he was already sort of enjoying it, it was like taking a nice soothing bath.
He thought the best thing to do at this point was to let the spirit guide him, which of course did come naturally. The spirit guided him as his transformation continued - he grew from 5’8 to 6’ft and became more lithe.
The spirit’s soothing voice echoed in his mind as he had already given in to the feelings of warmth and pleasure that filled his very being. More thoughts filled his mind, making him more and more intelligent by the minute.
The amount of body hair he had increased slightly as he groaned a little in pleasure, his much longer and thinner arms and legs helping him gently splash around. His hair slowly grew longer and messier as it turned from brown to jet black.
The style of his hair also changed to a more wild almost 80’s metal rocker style that was a style known as backcombing, his eyebrows turned black and thickened slightly as they arched to give him a more mischievous look.
His eye colour turned a dark shade of brown as eyeliner or ‘guy-liner’ was applied around his eyes, his eyes widening slightly and giving him a more mischievous and sly appearance. The structure of his face altering to become more oval in shape.
The shape of his nose and lips became more defined as slightly visible facial hair that was the same colour as his hair became noticeable on his chin. He was looking rather a lot like a certain British comedian.
His voice changed as well, becoming more bombastic in nature but developing a thick cockney accent of the Essex variety, and quite staccato-like in tone. He became a lot more intelligent as his transformation completed and his expression became a more mischevious one.
He didn’t just look like a certain British comedian, he also sounded like him - but he still had his own memories. He then swam up to the top of the pool and crawled out, drying off before picking up a copy of “My Booky Wook”.
“Hey...I know who i’ve turned into! I’m Russell Brand! Now that is weird. I thought i’d be turned into some sort of monster or something.”
“Well technically...you can. As a Lonely Water guardian, you can command armies of aquatic creatures and even communicate with them. You are also amphibious and can breathe underwater, and also turn yourself into a menacing half-fish creature.”
“Hmm...I wonder what this new form of mine would look like.”
Russell concentrated and as he did, he thought about what his half-fish creature form would look-like, going to detail as he did so. He thought about what kind of fish-like creature he’d look like, going over all the detail.
His skin turned a light bluish colour as his hands altered to become webbed, lionfish style quills grew out of his back and even his hair took on properties similar to those quills. The colour of his eyes turned from brown to red as the pupils became slitted. Gills appeared on his neck, and colourful markings appeared on his shoulders.
The fingernails on his webbed hands became longer and sharper, his ears stretched out to become fin-like as his teeth sharpened slightly, making them look slightly pirahna-like. His half-fish creature form looked like a cross between a lionfish, a plutarkian and a Street Shark - the latter two being from his favorite animated tv shows.
He then got a rather devious idea as he crept over to a second pool, that was just near the aquarium. He dived down underwater and made a fin shape that looked like a shark fin before he reached a specific spot in the main part of Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
He then spied a young woman in a blue and red bikini taking a swim, that was when he made his move - stealthily swimming in a shark-like manner as the theme from Jaws played in the background.
“Uh oh...I hear the Jaws theme!”
“I know what that means.”
“We’re going to be attacked by a shark or horrible sea monster?”
“Or worse...someone is out of Corn Pops!”
The young woman swam as fast as she could but Russell in his fish-monster form emerged and grabbed her, within seconds - she fainted as he picked her up before morphing back to normal and diving back in the small black pool.
“It’s alright, guys! It’s just Russell Brand.”
“Oh.”
“Hey at least he remembered to take a bath this time.”
Russell turned to a few of the other ladies standing by and gave a sly smirk, turning his attention towards them. He couldn’t help but be a flirt, and flirt with them he did.
“Say...would any of you lucky women be interested in a magnificent specimen such as I? I hear women go crazy over me.”
“Get lost.”
One of the women slapped Russell across the face while another one of them giggled, but then something else caught his eye, he say a neon green fish tail splashing about in the water followed by the sound of a beautiful, enchanting feminine voice.
A young woman with long dirty blonde hair, who bore a resemblance to Daryl Hannah’s mermaid character Madison swam up to Russell, giving a very coy smile in his direction. She seemed to be very attracted to him.
“Hello, miss...i’m Russell...what’s your name?”
“Isabelle!”
“So...you’re a mermaid?”
“Yes, I am.”
“I’m a Lonely Water guardian.”
“Well you won’t be lonely anymore. Follow me!”
Isabelle dived down into the water, going underwater as Russell followed her - swimming along with her all the way down to the cove where he was stuck in before.
Only this time the cove resembled something out of the lost kingdom of Atlantis, as various mer-people and anthropomorphic sea creatures swam about happily. This time Russell was happy to be there.
With that the two swam off to spend the rest of their lives in this marvelous undersea world with their new aquatic friends - soon after the two of them fell in love.
As for what happened later, the two of them even were allowed to visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the aquarium on a regular basis and were both able to go on land as well as be in water.
It appears that Russell had finally - after years of failure, found true love and found someone who loved him. The two of them never were separate from each other, in fact even if they were far apart - they were always there for each other.
Russell now lives happily as a guardian of the Lonely Water pools and lakes, with his new mentor and spirit guide the actual spirit of Lonely Water.
And so, Russell Brand and his new aquatic partner Isabelle - lived happily ever after, just like in the classic Disney movies of old.
Remember, love is a strange but intriguing thing - sometimes we may never find the perfect man or woman and no one is exactly perfect. But even someone like Russell can find love in the most unlikely of places.

Ending song:
One fine day.
Love came for me.
When love was rare.
As love can be.
I saw stars, shining in clear blue skies.
We flow together.
Once and forever.
Love came for me.
One fine night.
Love let us see.
How far we’ll go.
How good we’ll be.
We saw a world.
No one ever saw before.
It was the world love can start.
With the beat of our heart.
Love came for me.
Love came for me.
Love came for me.
Love came for me.
Love came for meeee.
Love came for me.
