How to Make Your Own Piff
Hello to all humans and sea-creatures and welcome to a very special guide on how to make your very own Piff video adventures, you may have seen Piff on your feed if you follow my content on tiktok, youtube and instagram and wondered…’Where does he come from?’ ‘How do you make a Piffy adventure?’ ‘What exactly IS Piffy?’
Well i’ll tell you and show you in this handy and funny educational guide to making your very own Piff adventure - now for those who do not know Piff is an anthropomorphic pufferfish character who has been adapted to the lore of my stories since 2024 and he has developed in many years from his original concept. He is a cheeky pufferfish who loves onions, comedy, japanese culture, fishing, bathtubs, and bathbombs and he is an internet icon,so how can you make Piff yourself, well that’s the first step of the guide.
Step 1: Making Piffy

And when you have your little ‘Piffy’ created and ready for adventure it is time to create the adventure.
Step 2: Creating the Adventure and Bringing it to Life
Now that you have your very own ‘Piffy’ that has been spawned to life and it is time to create the adventure you want him to go on, you can have him do anything and have him go anywhere, from the mall to go into a comic book to fight villains or to theme parks like Universal Studios, he can go anywhere. The example here is Piff and The Piffettes posing in their colorful bus as they head to the undersea city where Piff originates from, the Piffettes being Piff’s fictional musical band he is part of.
Of course this isn’t an ordinary bus trip, this is a magical bus trip all through the city, sure I could have just said ‘Piff and the Piffettes are taking the bus to go to the city for a tour’ but I did not because imagine that this is not an ordinary fish bus ride for this band of aquatic disco stars, as it begins with them hopping on the bus as Piff imagines that this tour is taking them to the ‘bubble palace’, we see Piff jumping over to the drivers seat as he gives the announcement of ‘Hello ladies and gentlemen and sea-creatures of all species, this is your fishy bus driver speaking, it’s time for a ride with me and the Piffettes’, as a colorful musical number takes place. Now how I made this scene happen was with Pixverse and Haillou, and I hyped it up with several early short clips of Piff dancing with anthropomorphic fish dancers, now some people may have hated seeing these fish everywhere they look but nope I am not apologizing for those, and if they don’t like it, well they can suck eggs.
Step 3: Hyping Up The Adventure.
If there is anything Piff loves more than anything, it’s when new people gain interest in his adventures and want to learn more about him, and that is where hyping up the lore comes in handy, like why and how did Piff become famous because of a bathtub video? Because Piff was in a bathtub shop (I used a real life bathtub shop right here in New Zealand where I love, the Golden Lotus shop as the setting) in a story that was themed around the video, and in the story it shows the making of a viral video in a humorous way. These Piff stories of mine hype up the character and make people want to watch videos of him, if it’s a celebration or milestone on my channel, there will be a story about it featuring Piffy. And you can do the same too, you can use my stories that you can find on my various pages and blogs, as your inspiration. Where did the inspiration to introduce Piff into the universe of my stories come from? It began on July 2nd 2024 when I went to Kelly Talton's and I found this adorable little pufferfish plush made by Wild Republic in the gift shop, named him Piff and adopted him. And from then, Piff became a major member of the crew (You can find physical Piff representation in Mighty Ape and even in shops like Toy World), but animated Piff had several designs before evolving into the adorable fish mascot he is today.
Piff’s major debut as a character was on July 2nd, 2024 and at the time he was a supporting character who did not have any lines at least not as much as the others due to only being able to speak his own name but over time he developed his own personality and quirks, and it was through April of last year and throughout the rest of that year that he gained his following of fans, a following of fans which inspired the fictional ‘Piff Fan Club’ in several of the online stories, and especially the creation of ‘Suku’.
Suku is a Japanese pufferfish who looks like and has the same tastes as Piff who also has his own channel in-universe, he is based on another Piff video I made where it was Piff in the style of Pokemon in a bathtub store looking at a bathtub in admiration, the AI I had used for said video spawned a twin pufferfish jumping out of the tub - and thus a twin was born in-universe, it’s like magic really. The Piff universe has expanded in many ways including songs, Suno can be your best friend for this.
Next Stage: Sharing The Adventure.
The best part of making your very own Piff adventure is sharing it with friends and spreading the good word, you can do this thanks to social media and my preferred platforms are Tiktok, Instagram and Youtube, you can create songs on Suno and share them too,and post your stories about Piff on a blog or even your own webpage (I myself use Tumblr, Blogger and Wordpress) and telling online followers that ‘Hey I have this cool fish character that has spawned into my online universe, his name is Piff, please feel free to check out these amazing fantasy adventures featuring him’.
Piff loves making new friends and new admirers and this has lead to stories about him becoming a film-maker, actor, author and many other fun things, because why be ordinary when it comes to the Piffverse? The Piffverse is vast and your additions will surely impress followers, I mean if I saw a comment from someone that said…’Hey, I saw your video about Piff in space talking about friendship conquering evil and it spoke to me’, I would take it as a compliment.
Do no listen to ‘antis’ because antis are silly, they are very silly indeed and they believe AI is going to bring about the end of the world as we know it but they do not know any better, do not listen to people who tell you ‘hey can you stop posting lore about your fish and his imaginary disco band?’ because those people aren’t the boss of you, you are you and your Piff does whatever you want him to do, why should your Piff stop eating pizza with a teletubby or attending a disco just because of one person complaining about it? Your Piffy should be allowed to be happy just by being Piffy. He doesn’t need to be like one of those stupid fake celebrity death rumor videos or those stupid ‘this animal that is harmless looking can actually kill you videos’ or those stupid edgy werecreature AU videos that evolved logo kids make or those those stupid Infection AUs that infested Tiktok feeds for a short period of time, or those stupid Family Guy or Simpsons clips that have obnoxiously large subtitles and a voiceover of them, or those blatantly obvious fact videos about movies that you already knew about said movie, or those wannabe reviewers who are all ‘I am playing me as a character and all my enemies are representations of me played by me in character with some bad special effects’, wannabe reviewers who are all ‘It’s the late 2010s and as such I am going to an internet reviewer who talks about bad animation because clearly that is an easy meal ticket and I will be using myself but not in live action, but as a cartoon character, and hey my camera work may suck but that doesn’t matter because you won’t ended to see me in live action - so i’ve just got flashy AMVs and clips that I will reuse for the purpose of jokes.’ Or you know, you get the idea, at least Piff is actually fun content.
Like I love the next deep dive as much as the next video maker but sometimes it’s best to just have fun with what you have got which leads to the very last step.
Last Step: Have Fun With Your Piffy.
Now that you have created your own Piffy adventures the only step left to do is have fun which isn’t very hard, you can make as much Piff as you like and there is no limit, share him around with friends and tell others in your circle all about him and even contribute to existing Piffy adventures (look on my youtube and Deviantart pages and my blogs for inspiration) and most importantly remember, keep track of your Piff video adventures by making a very special video playlist.
Share your Piff around, tell friends how cool and cute and funny he is, but remember, he is MARRIED (not that you cannot ship him with other female fish characters, it’s just in lore he is canonically married to Tangie). Apart from that, have fun creating Piffy and making up adventures for him.
