The Haunted Mansion Adventure.

Corey and Oats loved watching halloween and spooky content and they loved Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, Spirit Halloween stores and the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disney World, they had watched the Muppets Haunted Mansion and really loved the special and were definitely looking forward to the new Haunted Mansion movie  and they thought about asking Mel to take them on a special adventure to prep up for it, which she did...they were playing in their house in Nile Road one afternoon when Mel showed them a special item resembling a torch which she used to open up a portal in the middle of the living room which took them right into the attraction.

It had been awhile since Mel had been on the attraction but given that she and Corey and Oats had both visited in the Magical Bedbox episode the duo decided to follow her as doom buggies materialized, the duo hopped on board the doom buggies with her as the ride began and they had heard the voice of the ghost host himself guide them through it, they saw all the parts of the attraction that were fan favorites like the portrait gallery, the ballroom and the graveyard and then they were taken to a tunnel.  'I didn't know that this was part of the attraction, mommy.'  'Well the Disneyland Paris version does have a connection to Big Thunder Mountain.'  'Phantom Manor and Big Thunder Mountain are connected?' 'Why yes, they are.'   

The tunnel took them through a hidden section of the ride which featured several of the gruesome ghosts as well as characters from the 2003 movie including Jim and Sarah Evars (and their kids),  Emma and Ezra,  and Master Gracey.  'Hi guys, we came here to hang out with you and play around for a little, hope you don't mind.'

"Of course we don't mind."

"Yaaaaay."

Corey looked over at the pipe organ and decided to play a few songs on it...'I wonder if there is a blue skinned Elvis impersonating phasm in there.' 'I bet there is.'  Oats chuckled and then he saw a ghostly bride floating over, she  had a gorgeous dress on. 'Oh mommy, look at that lady and her lovely dress. Can you make me a dress like that?' 'Oh, Oatsie.'

"Mommy!"

The brown furred equine whinnied as he saw some ghostly dancers dancing and he joined in and as he did, he found himself becoming a ghost.  In addition to this Corey stumbled upon a library which was the hidden entrance to a laboratory where he encountered real monsters and he found himself turning into a bat-monster version of himself, the duo met up again in the ballroom and then had all sorts of fun, singing along to some spooky songs and telling ghost stories.

"This mansion is even more amazing, it's even better in person that it is at the parks."

"Oh absolutely,  I agree."

Mel saw a portrait of a koala-woman that looked a lot like her, but the portrait of the woman changed to become a demonic version,  and she herself began to change as her hair grew longer and messier and dark eyeshadow was applied around her eyes,  her clothing changing into a gothic ballgown as she levitated in the air.  The song 'Grim Grinning Ghosts' played and Oats and Corey sang along to it.

They had some snacks and had some fun exploring the mansion with the Evars family and their ghostly friends, and just when they thought they had all the fun they could have, Vincent  Spaulding aka the Hatbox Ghost gave them presents and they hugged him,he was very friendly and welcoming.  In addition to this, they had a happy haunting party and after the party ended, Mel gestured to them it was time to go home.

The duo said goodbye to their friends before going into the doom buggies and exiting the attraction before going back all the way home to Nile Road.  When they went home to Nile Road they had afternoon tea and an hour later they had dinner, after dinner they had a karaoke contest and also emailed Jill about their adventure, when their karaoke session was over,  they relaxed and had fun.

Corey and Oats had fun in the bedroom with Mel and the other microbes, and when it was time for bed they put on their night-clothes,  brushed their teeth and got the bed ready for their arrival as Corey picked out a microbe to be their sleepover pal for the night, they all got into bed and snuggled up, listened to classical musical on their favorite station and had sweet dreams.  

Their haunted mansion adventure continued in their dreams as they had a ghostly dance party, and all their friends were there. Stay tuned for 'The Sweet Little Jamiecorn' and a few more adventures featuring everyone's favorite duo.
