Oats’s New Penguin Pal.

Corey and Oats loved adventures and it’s a matter of fact there was always going to be a sequel adventure, and today’s adventure was going to be that sequel, it was the 1st of December 2022 and Mel told them that Ysa was going to help them look for a NZ bird friend to join the bird trio, a kokako to be exact.  The duo had just had lunch, and after lunch they were told by Mel they were going to Albany to find the bird.

After lunch the duo got ready and decided to bring a friend along with them, that friend being Christov the cold sore microbe. The duo headed out and headed over to where the floating van was and they hopped inside it and buckled up.  The van took off as it went all over the city and stopping over at a store before taking off for Albany, the duo were very excited when they arrived at the parking lot, they hopped out of the van and followed Mel and Ysa, safely walking across the road as they did so.

When they got inside the mall they walked around and looked at the scenery before they followed Mel and Ysa and entered Whitcoulls, they looked over at the store before running around, they saw the stairs and carefully grabbed onto the rails as they walked upstairs which led to where the biggest selection was, the toys.

“Here we go boys, time to hunt.”

“Yes, let’s go.”

They looked through the section, running around and going on a bit of a toy hunt…they looked through the multiple clearance sections and then went into the plush section, that’s when they saw the kokako, the kokako bird appeared to be crying. ‘What’s wrong Mr Kokako?’ ‘I cannot sing,  what good am I if I cannot sing like the other birds?’ ‘You don’t need to be like the other birds to find your voice, we can help you find your voice.’

The kokako cheered as he watched Corey and Oats put on a musical number, he cleared his throat as he joined in and performed a song of his own,  Corey cheered him on.  There were a group of TY Monstaz who couldn’t find their voices too and luckily Oats was there to help them.

After helping them, Oats decided to adopt a new horse friend…a clydesdale horse named Cal and he decided to adopt a new bird friend too, while the Kokako had found his voice he couldn’t use it for a little bit so they said goodbye to him and the Monstaz and headed down the stairs and left Whitcoulls. The bird they befriended was a yellow eyed penguin called Patricia.

They stopped at New World to pick up some things before leaving the mall and heading back in the van and heading up to buy some things before making one last stop before arriving back at Nile Road.

“That was certainly fun.”

“Yes, it certainly was.”

They played for a couple of hours and then Jeemo came and they all had a sing-song session, after their sing-song session they had dinner and they had some delicious food for dinner and for dessert they had ice cream, and thus after that they listened to music and had fun for a couple of hours.

A couple of hours later they did a bit of karaoke and when it was time to get ready for bed, they all went to the bedroom and put their nightclothes on as they brushed their teeth.

Oats and Corey snuggled up with Mel and Alcina as well as the new clydesdale and they all snuggled up and sweet dreams, and as per usual the adventure comes to an end, but not their adventures in general.
