Microbial Friends in Need.

Everybody needs a home and somebody to love, especially microbes and our favorite duo of Corey and Oats were always happy to help out and today was a particularly good day to help out, the duo were in their room at their house in Nile Road when Zara’s microbe gang Lucinda the love covid (twin sister to Alcina the love covid), Patrick Poop (the twin to Peter Poop), Vyvian Vaccine (Victor Vaccine’s twin brother) and Bryan Booger (Barry Booger’s twin) came running into the bedroom.  ‘Hello Corey, hello Oatsie.’  ‘What can we do for you four today?’  ‘It is terrible, the woman that is with Zara won’t let Zara keep us with her in her room and we don’t know what to do. We don’t want to be given to someone else, we don’t want to go back to the first home you guys live in and we find any good homes to hide out in the meanwhile.’  ‘There there, maybe we can help.’

Lucinda looked over at Corey and also at her sister Alcina…’Please do something about this Corey, I don’t know what i’ll do if I cannot be with my sister or Zara. ‘We can do something about this, since we build you a new home, how about we show you guys an adventure, where we can pick out different homes for you?’  ‘That sounds good to me.’  Corey looked over and winked as he got out the bedbox.  ‘Is that your magical bed box?’  ‘Yes, it is..we are going to need this in order to do this.’

“Oooh…I wonder what it can do.”

“It can give you the perfect home, let’s go through several of them until we find one that you’ll like.”

Corey picked up the bed-box and pulled out a magical map that he used to transform the bed into a plane, the four microbes hopped on board the plane and buckled up as Corey and Oats piloted the plane and went  to numerous different locations. The first place they arrived at was an igloo in a frozen tundra-like area. ‘Our first potential home is this lovely tundra, if you love penguins and other animals that thrive in the cold, you’ll love it here.’  ‘You four could try out this igloo.’  Oats suggested.

Lucinda, Bryan, Patrick, and Vyvian entered the igloo…’Do you think you four could live in an igloo?’  ‘I don’t think so…’ Lucinda sighed. ‘Why not?’  ‘It’s too cold for us. I don’t want to turn into a frozen microbe.’  ‘As funny as I think the idea of being a frozen booger sounds, I think I'm going to have to pass on this one too.’  ‘That’s understandable. Come on, we’ll find someplace else for you to live.’  The plan took flight, once again going through the sky and over to a desert-like area.

“Well…how about a desert paradise?”

“I don’t know, it’s too dry here.”

“And there’s no water.”

“You’re right…maybe there’s some other places we can go.”

The plane then took off again before morphing into a submarine and going underwater, there was a special underwater dome house that just so happened to be open and they entered the dome house together.  ‘Well how do you like it?’  ‘The fish are cute.’  ‘Yeah, very cute.’ ‘How do you feel about living underwater?’  ‘Alright, but I don’t think we’ll be able to hang out with you guys down here.’   Corey and Oats developed aquatic half-fish traits as did Lucinda’s microbe gang as they swam around in the dome.

Lucinda thought the dome was quite lovely but she felt that underwater wasn’t quite right and she and the other three swam out of the dome and headed back to the submarine with Corey and Oats, the submarine morphed into a plane as it took them over to a lovely tropical sanctuary….’How about this?’   The four microbes splashed around in a bird-bath for a bit and developed half bird-like traits.

“It’s a cute place but I really just want to be able to live with you and your friends.”

Corey blushed as Lucinda kissed him,  Lucinda and her three friends decided that they liked the bird sanctuary but they decided on looking for other homes, as the plane transported the microbes to an island,  Lucinda thought the island was too far away. ‘Have you settled on a new home yet?’ ‘Not yet, we like all of them but I think we should live close to you.’  ‘How about we take you back home then?’  ‘I’d like that.’

The bed/plane took off once more, cruising through the air and then landing back at the Nile Road house, when they arrived back home they arrived in the bedroom. ‘So what do you think of the homes we saw today?’  ‘We liked them but….’  ‘Yes, Lucinda?’  Corey inquired. ‘I think that we shouldn’t have to go anywhere to find a temporary home.’

“And why is that?”

“Because well…”

“I’m waiting for your answer.”

‘Because we like it here, in your room, Corey.’  ‘But wouldn’t you like to have an exciting temporary secondary home?’  ‘Oh no no…Corey, all of the homes you showed us were very exciting but this is the best one.’  ‘Oh?’  ‘Yes…can we stay in this room, so we can go on all sorts of adventures with you guys?’  

“Absolutely,  the more the merrier.”

Corey hugged Lucinda and cuddled her as he presented her with a special box, a box that resembled a box-bed similar to the one the other microbes snuggled in.  ‘Here, he’s a bed box of your own to go on adventures in…’  ‘Yaaaaay, thank you.’  And thus with that Lucinda, Patrick, Vyvian and Bryan hopped inside the bed box Corey had given for them and began to think of what kind of adventures they wanted to go on.

And throughout that week, Zara’s microbes stayed over in the bedroom with Corey and Oats, and they found themselves going on their very own adventures in their very own bedbox, and as for what happened later,  all of them got to on an adventure together in the end.
