WB's Responses.

 Werebelushi:

Can I just give a response to the following stupid thing that some people keep doing? Good, because i've got a beef with this one person for what he said and I have the following questions and responses for him:

1. Uhhhh...excuse me, what do you mean by Nathan gets offended when someone refers to a non-werecreature shapeshifter as a 'were'? Oh, allow me to explain. Basically it's considered a racist/species-ist term in the monster world to refer to a non-werecreature shapeshifter character as a 'were' especially since they're not werecreatures, half of Nathan's alter-egos are nocturnal yes, but not all of them are akin to werecreatures, Chris and Bowie are both vampiric, Growler's a weregrinch, Trumpty is a Trump-monster. Dan IS a werecreature, he's a Were-Aykroyd.

2. To be honest that fic was awful and it was only because Nathan found it on a Bad Creepypasta wiki site or similar site that the fic ever got brought up and he admitted he overreactd. What's your problem with that?

3. Yes, Nathan has an Aykroyd obsession ,so what? Aykroyd's awesome. I don't see how you're so judgemental of his obsessions yet you guys who are from an universe that is a ottal joke allowed a psychopathic Homestuck fangirl who simps over Jade Harley so much that it's all he ever talked about to the point he actually attempted to take over Jade's body in our universe, how come you let that one get away, hmmm? I mean he just blatantly pointed out that he was working for you guys everywhere he went, he didn't bother to hide his true nature.

4. You don't get what it means...a 'blocking spell' is basically our universe's version of being blocked online in the actual human real world, only it's a magical version that prevents the person being cast from being seen by others and from counter spelling back against them, it's also used to isolate villainous types from attacking. It's to be used only for 'self defense' or for drastic measures, using it for no reason other than 'i don't like this person because they treated a friend of mine like crap' or 'I used to be this person's friend but I want to keep my distance from them so i'm going to do this to them because i'm too good for them.', then that is against the law in the monster world and results in curses, if it's a repeat offense they will end up being put on trial in the monster world, if they undo the blocking spell and apologize and make amends they are free to go, if not..they are forever stuck in a prison-like part of the Nightmare Realm where they are forced to live with their own creations and are cursed to be mocked forever by voices calling them a terrible person or 'bad friend'. The Mocking Voice curse is one that never goes away.

5. Slow down, what incest? Oh you, you mean the weregorillaxmonster-boy fic that he proposed? This isn't an incest story. I am sorry to all the people that thought it was. Look, i'll break the story down. The monster boy isn't a boy, he's just called a 'cute monster-boy' because he's a genderbend version of the Cute Monster Girl trope, he has an older brother and his father was killed by a crazed gun-totting biggot who hated monsters, his brother and mother are the only ones protecting him, the character is naturally bisexual, and that wasn't a decision by Nathan to say 'take that critics' since Nathan himself is bi too. The character meets this weregorilla character who adopts him and he develops a lasting loving relationshp wth him, he views him as a mentor and father figure, no he's not a step-father or god-father, and for the record he takes him in and raises him, and while the two do share a bed, they're not a couple, and so the supposedly incest angle all these guys keep hinting at isn't even there, there's not even any sex. There's a whole bit in the episode adaptation of this where a character who is supposed to be representative of said types of people and he gets told off right away and is never seen again (the character is intentionally annoying).

6. Really? You're reaching for interracial relationships as your subtext here? Just because the guy is a weregorilla. Look black fur is NOT the same as African American skin-tones and just becuase gorillas are African animals doesn't mean you can wrongly say they're representative of African Americans as a race. That's like suggesting that poodles are representative of th people of France as a nationality just because they're sometimes called 'French Poodles'.

Also lastly I give this dickhead's friend two responses:

  1. Allow me to explain this correctly. What Nathan has in its favorites is none of your damn buisness, stop snooping around in other people's favorites and posting snideful comments about what you don't like. He didn't say that he hated weight gain, you incorrectly said that you think he dislikes weight gain where it's just people becoming fat versions of themselves. He expressively said he doesn't like when it's A: Just constant butt and belly worship. B: When it's in slob territory. C: When it's a non-fat character just becoming a fat version of themselves. Those were three very valid reasons why he doesn't like that type of weight gain. And I agree, I mean do you have any idea how demeaning it is to see a larger sized character in a movie or show essentially just be the butt of the joke because of his or her weight? I find it extremely demeaning especially in animated movies when they have a character whose only trait is their body weight and their butt and they shove that all over the advertising, i'm looking at you Gloria the Hippo, Norm from Norm of the North and Boomer from Wonder Park among others. At least Gunter from Sing doesn't have that trope applied to him.

  2. Okay...please explain why you find pig transformations disgusting. Oh wait, it's just that the majority of the victims you see as being part of them are female and obviously you object to women being turned into pigs as opposed to men because ha ha men are ALREADY like that, get it? Look there's nothing insensitive about pig tfs, I like pig-men and pig-women, I like hooved animal transformations in general, especially hybrid forms, I don't see anything wrong with this. For argument's sake, let's just say your form/fursona is a cow, why did you choose a cow? Is it because the universe you're from is one that pretty much acts as a fictional extreme version of those sites that are dedicated to lulcows? Is it because you clearly are male but have a cow fursona to represent how you want to be identified as a woman since cows are female cattle? Do you have self doubt issues and think that everyone views you as a piece of meat and that's why you choose to be a cow since after all since cows are used to make meat/beef? Look, pigs as a tf subject make sense when weight gain is involved because they're large built by default, a species or chracter that is large built makes sense for a weight gain. If it was Leia turning into a Hutt that would make sense, but if it was just her gaining weight and Hutt-like table-manners it wouldn't be much of a change. It would be like making Donkey Kong a Saiyan, he's already an ape so he wouldn't go Oozaru since he doesn't have a tail anyway, and also you kind of need to be a Saiyan to have Saiyan powers, while it would possible for Ben Tenneson to have a Saiyan form since Saiyans ARE aliens, it wouldn't make sense for DK to be a Saiyan since he's already an ape, but I suppose you could make him yellow in Smash Bros and pretend he's gone Super Saiyan.

  3. What is your issue with racial changes? Most of the ones i've seen are completely harmless and inoffensive, no slang, no gross stereotyping, no blackfacing/yellow-facing, all of it is completely inoffensive and it's fantasy for crying out loud.

Now that I have gotten all of these off my chest, I feel a lot better.
