How To Be A Gorgeous Sorceress.
How To Be A Gorgeous Sorceress.

There are two misconceptions about transformation fiction, one being that it mainly is a fetish fantasy when it isn't (at least not all the time) and the second being the 'transformation is always being used as a punishment' thing, which isn't entirely true either...it's just the number of horror stories and transformation stories in general seem to be heavily focused on the Karmic Punishment trope but that's usually just reserved for twist endings. Plus, you don't go into a show like Tales From The Crypt expecting to sympathize with the characters that do get punished for their actions. Besides, this isn't one of those stories. This isn't one of those revenge-fics where someone writes about a famous person or character they don't like suffering and they post it to spite that person for no reason only to get rid of it and post a 'sequel/prequel' that no one can see. This is actually a different kind of tale, it's a tale about someone who has always wanted to be someone else. Colby was a socially awkward horror fan who never truly felt comfortable with who he was, he always felt like he belonged as someone else other than himself, expressing it via his art and nothing more. He didn't want to threaten or harm anyone, he was just big into stories involving people becoming other people and really wanted to have a go at it for real, he was a friend of Nathan's and one evening he discovered a book Nathan had wrote about a sorceress known as the Night-Woman and he became obsessed with her.
"Nathan could you tell me about this woman?"
"She is a wish-granting sorceress who comes out at night, she can grant your deepest desires."
"She can? Is she a good witch or a bad one?"
"I think you will find she's a very nice one."
'You know ever since I saw the Craft i've had a thing for women who can cast spells.' 'So you like witches/sorceresses?' 'Yes. Personally I blame Fairuza Balk, she's my number one crush after all.' 'Do you wish you could be close to her?' 'More than that. I'd like to be her.' 'I'll tell you what...I can help you summon the Night-Woman and she can turn you into Fairuza, how does that sound?' 'I like that.' Nathan got out a spellbook and instructed Colby to write down the spell used to summon the Night-Woman, going over each and every single little step. Within a matter of seconds Colby had memorized all the steps and methods. A few hours later they performed the spell when the sun went down and the moon rose, at first nothing happened but a few seconds later the Night-Woman herself appeared, she resembled Eva Green but with a ghostly glow to her.
"Woah...is that her?"
"Indeed it is."
Both of them walked over to her. 'Hello.' 'Hello boys...what can I do for you?' 'Well. My friend Colby was wondering if you could make his wish come true.' 'Yeah...I am looking for a chance to be someone else.' 'Anyone in particular?' 'Fairuza Balk, my n-n-number one crush.' 'I see...you have an attraction to her?' 'Indeed I do. I was wondering if you could turn me into her. Please?' 'Is that what you wish?' 'Yes, that's exactly what I wish for.' 'Very well.' Eva looked over at Colby before levitating in mid air and transferring her powers into his body, charging him with supernatural energy that made him able to perform dark magic. Colby felt a tingling sensation all over as his skin slowly softened and smoothened, also becoming slightly pale while his imperfections faded away - he did keep some of his tattoos though, while his arms lengthened and his hands shrank...his fingernails lengthening in the process. He didn't look horrified, in fact he actually liked it seeing that he willingly chose for this wish of his wish to be granted which made him glad that he made that wish.
His clothing slowly turned into an elegant black gown and tights while his chest and torso slimmed, on the former a pair of round formations known as breasts slowly developed and he felt them for a little...he had always wanted to know how this felt, he was curious about shapeshifting and transformations in general. He had read a lot of Nathan's novels and all of them featured transformation scenes that were detailed but not too graphic, and he admired him for that. He remembered how one novel featured someone who was afraid of arachnids having multiple nightmares about being bitten by demonic spiders and turning into a spider-woman. He chuckled as he recalled how much the character didn't hate being turned, how it wasn't a punishment, so much as it was a way to cope with fear. His legs lengthened while his hips flared out, his feet shrank down in size as his privates altered, but he didn't mind.
"You seem to be really liking this."
"Well of course I am. If I didn't, would I have chosen to become my number one crush?"
"Good point."
"Besides, you said so yourself in one of your novels."
"Which one?"
'The Kindly Werekoala. You said that being transformed doesn't always have to be a horrible punishment or burden. Sometimes it can be a dream come true, especially in my case. 'Yeah, I did say that and I meant it too. So many authors try to make it a punishment, but i'm not always like that. I don't let what critics say get to me.' Nathan responded as he admired Colby's transformation, he chuckled. Colby's shoulders shrank inward as his back arched and his neckline altered, his hair slowly turning darker and growing longer as his eyebrows thinned, he blushed and squealed in excitement, the fact he was delighted to witness his own transformation, which he was definitely thankful for on many levels. His eyes widened and turned greenish while eyelashes blossomed forth around them and dark eye-makeup was applied around them as well, his nose shrank while his cheekbones rose and his features feminized, his lips plumping up as his features morphed into a perfect copy of Fairuza's own ones, which made him ecstatic beyond belief. In addition to this his voice softened but also feminized and become silky, seductive and more than a little bit on the alluring side as his mind remained roughly the same except for developing some mysterious and flirty traits which he didn't mind, he or rather 'she' felt rather energized and one with her darkside, her memories shifting a little to reflect Fairuza's own ones but also with modified versions of the old memories thrown in, making her a 'were-celeb' who had dark magic at her disposal, the transformation completed itself and she was now Fairuza Balk and she couldn't have been happier.
"Voila, how do you feel?"
"Awesome, thank you for arranging this."
"No problem."
And thus with that Nathan gave Fairuza a parting gift before using his powers to disappear by turning into mist, disappearing into the shadows, but he told her should she ever need him to give him a call. Later on, she caught up with him and thanked him for assisting her and for teaching a new spell. As for what happened to her later, she embraced her new role and used it to her advantage. Thus brings us to the message, transformation doesn't always have to be a punishment or a 'woe is me' scenario, sometimes it can be a good thing, sometimes it can be just what that person wanted all along.
