Nathan Forester's best friend Kevin was an accident prone type. Kevin was always getting into trouble and being transformed against his own will and sometimes on occasion even possessed or brainwashed, he was usually stubborn about it but eventually he owned up to that and did attempt to change his ways. Kevin gulped as Nathan confronted him in the lab one evening, it seemed that Kevin had been involved in another monster related mishap. 'Kevin, Kevin...what happened this time?' 'Well you know you told me not to mess with that new device you installed? I tried my best but some rat-monster took it from me and he attempted to turn me into a rat-monster to be part of his army'. 'Did you let the monster in?' 'Uh...no'.
Kevin sighed as he attempted to clean up the mess that the rat-monster he mentioned left behind. 'I know it's not always your fault Kevin, but you really do need to be more careful when you're in the lab or in this town in general. You tend to be a weirdness magnet on a regular basis, but I respect you as a friend'. 'Really? You're not mad at me?' 'Of course not, this happens all the time'. 'Thank goodness..is there anything I can do to help?' 'Not really seeing as you're doing a decent job of cleaning up this mess on your own.' 'Thanks..' He was actually doing a pretty fine job of fixing the mess and making everything better, but more so than that...he was working hard to be a better person and to be more helpful to the other teammates.
"Nathan...I have something i've wanted to ask you."
"Yes...what is it?"
"Well...i've seen your recent stuff and i've been wondering if you could..."
"What is it you want? I can do it for you if you really want."
He blushed as he held up his DVD boxset of the television show ER. Nathan and Kevin were both huge fans of the show, but Kevin had a huge crush on Nurse Carol Hathaway and even had dreams about turning into her or being on the show in general..he normally was very shy about revealing this to others because he feared being judged for it, but Nathan assured him it was alright. 'Do you think you could morph me into her? I love Carol and i'd be forever grateful if I became her'. 'I can help with that, sure.' He pulled out a special bracelet with a gem on it and gave it to Kevin, Kevin slowly reached out for the bracelet and placed it around his wrist. 'Thanks...what does this do? I'm curious because you know me, i'm into magical items'.
"It's a wishing bracelet. If you think about what you want, it will happen."
"Alright, let's give it a go.."
Kevin looked at the bracelet, gazing off for a few seconds before concentrating and making his wish. The gem on the amulet gave off a supernatural glow as that aura was transferred into him, a few seconds later he felt a tingling sensation as his skin slowly lost imperfections and smoothened, even the slight bruises he had gotten were healing. His arms lengthened and contorted, his hands slowly contorting in size while his fingernails lengthened...he didn't mind this though. He looked at his shirt for a little bit to see his clothing in general morphing into a pink nurse's uniform while his chest and torso contorted. On the former a pair of formations which were round in shape slowly developed and formed, becoming what were known as breasts while his stomach slimmed. Nathan admired the transformation for a few minutes before walking over.
'How are you liking your transformation?' Nathan asked. 'This actually feels pretty nice...and natural'. He blushed as his back arched while his legs contorted and his hips flared out, his feet slowly shrinking down while his privates retracted, this was only mildly uncomfortable to him and he didn't mind this as he actually was getting to really enjoy his transformation. His shoulders folded inward as his neckline lengthened. His light brownish hair darkening to a jet black color as his hair lengthened, becoming longer and also becoming rather curly in some places as his eyebrows thinned. His mind was already beginning to get adjusted to the changes, some of 'Carol's memories fusing with his own ones and his personality.
"Wow, you're coming along really well. You're starting to look just like her."
"I know, this is fantastic."
Kevin chuckled to himself as his eyes widened, eyelashes blossoming around them while his nose contorted and his cheekbones sharpened while his jawline shifted, softening as his lips plumped up and his facial features morphed and feminizing, slowly turning into Carol's features, with each second he was looking more and more like her until his face finished morphing, finally morphing into her face completely....he examined his new appearance, blushing a little...he always had a crush on Carol and now he sported her appearance and even some of her memories and personality. Just when he thought it couldn't get better, he was about to discover that wasn't the only change left, as his voice softened and feminized, slowly matching his visage and becoming Carol's voice, which is to say he now sounded a lot like Juliana Marguiles. His or rather her mind shifted a few times as Carol's personality influenced him and took over, making her a caring and supportive type.
A few seconds later the transformation completed itself and where Kevin once was - there was now Carol Hathaway, she looked over at Nathan and hugged him. Thanking him for helping her and for being there for a friend, Nathan hugged her back before responding with a slightly bashful 'You're quite welcome'. He had to admit Carol did look rather lovely, as she often did. He reached out and gently held her by her left hand, he blushed...he just couldn't help but fawn over her. She giggled as she teased him playfully for a little bit before walking over and getting an idea.
"Say...Nathan, now that you've helped your friend make his dream come true.."
"Yes..."
"I have a request for you..."
"Sure, name your request...anything."
"Would you make my dream come true by becoming Doug? I have been missing him and I am worried about him."
"I can do that...but how?"
She whispered in his ear, he backed away for a little bit but agreed to help her. She leaned forward to kiss him, holding him tightly as her aura was transferred into him...that aura slowly merging with his own and altering his DNA as he found himself morphing into Doug Ross...gaining his handsome Clooneyian appearance and of course that charismatic Clooney voice of his as his personality altered, reflecting the changes. Nathan/Doug blushed as he saw his reflection in the mirror, but he didn't mind this...his memories altering to becoming Doug's own ones as Carol hugged him. 'I've been missing you a lot'. 'And i've missed you too. Promise me you'll never ever leave.' 'Carol, honey I promise that I won't...you know that this means everything to me and so do you. You also mean everything to me. We've been together for quite a long time and now that we're married and have kids, we're a family and there's no way i'd ever leave you..you mean so much to me.'
Carol embraced Doug and kissed him, after all these years these two had always been together...not just as a couple but now as a wife and husband and now with their own very family...both of their dreams had come true, and they couldn't have been happier. And thus with that the two of them waltzed in a way that mirrored Belle and the Beast's dance scene in the animated Beauty and The Beast movie as they spent the night together. A true fairytale romance if there ever was one, and one that would never be torn apart. 'I love you!' both of them exclaimed in unison as they waltzed and celebrated all-through the night. It's funny how dreams really can come true sometimes, and in the most unusual of ways...you are never too old or too young to dream, and it's never too late to return to visit your old favorites from time to time too.
Both of them didn't need anything more than what they had, and as for what later happened to them...they helped Nurse Opal take care of the injured Pokemon at the Pokemon Center and also visited Mel and bonded with her. The moral of this tale is that even though it may seem impossible, dreams really do come true sometimes...oh yes, it certainly can happen. You might never know when or how but maybe just maybe, you'll know why...because sometimes they really do come to life. And sometimes all it takes is a bit of magical assistance to make things all better and bring joy and laughter to others. And you know what they say, laughter is the best medicine...and so is magic, and love...love is the greatest medicine of all. For love always conquers evil and no matter how ill or broken someone is, a little bit of love can heal them and make things better.
