The supernatural world is a wild and often freaky world full of monsters of different kinds and there are people out there whose job is it to fight the sinister ones and to save the night and Melanie Sanders was one of those people, Mel was a koala-girl with supernatural powers and she could sense the presence of other supernatural beings too. She stood at 5'7 and had long dark brown hair and brown eyes, she always wore a variety of outfits but her trademark outfit was a blue denim tank top and jeans with sometimes a pair of shoes of her choice. She lived in an apartment with her best friend Eucalyptus (a koala-girl with mottled bluish fur and green hair) and the two of them had a webshow which they hosted from time to time.
Although it was never explained why the city they lived in - the city of Oakendale, was always full of monster sightings/encounters and people being turned into monsters, it was clear that the people didn't mind this as they had grown used to the monster attacks, while most people think would think this was insane and 'creepy', this was a city that praised all things dark and morbid, even going so far as to having monthly horror conventions. Mel was returning home from an evening of crime-fighting and monster hunting when she heard reports of were-celebrity sightings, and naturally she decided to investigate them. She heard screams coming from a nearby alleyway that was in-between the routes of the monster fast food joint known as Greasey Jake's and the place where she bought her supernatural books from.
As the screams got closer she noticed a person being followed by what appeared to be a perfect double of Fairuza Balk, Mel confronted Fairuza and asked her what she was doing, she fought Fairuza for a few minutes before Fairuza tackled her and scratched her with her nails. Mel fought back with her claws before adjusting her outfit. But before she could even attempt to finish her off, Fairuza...Fairuza escaped. 'Hey! Fairuza, come back here!' She yelled out. A few seconds later, she felt a cramp in her shoulder...lifting up the sleeves of her tank top she saw a few faint scratchmarks on her right shoulder. 'Owwww...that hurts. But i'm sure it's just nothing though.'
She returned to her apartment and opened the door, removing her shoes and jacket as she headed into the living room where Eucalyptus was having a Krueger-Thon on her laptop. 'Mel! Where have you been? You missed the Who Would Win discussion panel. That is so not like you to miss out on that. You usually love taking part in this part because you're talented at picking out who is the strongest and scariest monster/villain. 'Eukie...would you believe me if I told you I got attacked by Fairuza Balk earlier?'
"Why yes..I would, knowing how many stories like this happen on a regular basis."
"Well...I got attacked by Fairuza while investigating a were-celeb sighting and now i've got this scratchmark on my shoulder. It doesn't hurt but it's been glowing quite a bit. I don't know if I should call my friends and tell them about it or just ignore it."
"Knowing that you got attacked by a were-celeb...I probably think you're gonna turn into one, and I don't think i'd risk asking Lithius or anyone else about it. After all, you know how he reacts...then again, he only knows of you being George Clooney. He doesn't know that you and Mick Jagger are also apparently the same as well."
"That's true...he only knows George Clooney as my were-celeb side. So I think I should just relax and ignore it for a while, but....if something does happen that's when I might consider taking action, because you can never be too careful."
Mel sighed as she sat herself down and turned her computer on, she accessed her Youtube channel favorites and found the monster-girl video montage that someone emailed her, she always did love that montage especially since it included not only iconic monster women in media but also Bowsette and Booette, she watched the montage as she sat back and relaxed for a little bit before Eucalyptus started up the Freddy Krueger trivia challenge game and played it against some players in the neighborhood. A few minutes later Eucalyptus stopped for a few seconds to keep her company.
The two koala-girls often bonded together and worked together, the two of them had been best friends even since they first arrived in Oakendale along with Nathan and if either of them were in trouble they would go out of their way to help no matter what. Mel sighed as she began to feel more relaxed, 'So far so good...looks like I was worried for nothing'. However when the moon peered out from the view of her window and reflected into her glasses...the scratchmark slowly healed up as if by supernatural magic and her stomach gurgled.
"What's wrong, Mel?"
'Eukie...my stomach hurts...ugh...scratch that..ALL of me hurts!"
Mel clutched her stomach as a series of loud crunching noises, her abdomen, torso and chest were lengthening and broadening as her fur slowly transitioned into skin while lean musculature developed on her upperbody, her arms contorted and transformed...growing while her hands enlarged with a crunching sound. 'Aaaaaaargh! Eukie, please help me!'. She panicked as the pain coursed all through her body, she attempted to think about something else but all she could think about was how much it hurt her. 'I've got your back Mel, don't worry. Just relax.' 'I'm trying to but I just can't...' She sobbed, trying to hold back her tears.
She groaned as she saw her blue tank top blackening and tearing a little, her breasts retracting into her chest as she moaned in agony and anguish. The skin that was replacing her fur was now on her arms and chest along with her hands, her claw-like fingernails retracted a little bit but still remained sharp as she panted. Normally if she was forced to turn into a form she didn't like she could just morph back to normal, but she couldn't control were-celebrity transformations. Yes, she could become George Clooney at will, but that's because Clooney was one she had been using for a while...Mick Jagger on the other hand was one she had no control over. The altering koala-girl tried to focus on her regular form, and attempted to morph back into that form but she couldn't, the were-celeb aura was fusing with hers and messing with her powers.
"Mel...you can do it.."
"No I can't....this is beyond my control."
She gazed at her more mannish looking arms and hands and also at her upperbody, her body was starting to feel 'alien' to her like it wasn't her own as she groaned in anguish, her groans seemingly more pained that the first set as her tail retracted and her hips slowly dwindled down in size and her legs broadened with a cracking sound, her jeans blackening in the process while her feet slowly changed to match her hands. 'Mel...you can do this, you can fight this...' 'No, I can't...it's beyond my control, like I said earlier, please..you're my friend, you have to help me' she cried out. Eucalyptus got out a spellbook and tried to cast a spell to ease the pain for Mel, but Mel shuffled about and groaned...her body seemingly not obeying her.
The koala-girl looked and recoiled with horror as her privates altered into the more mannish variant, she was getting increasingly worried that she wouldn't be herself anymore. A distraught and panicked expression swept across her face as the pain continued to build up. Her back and shoulders broadening with a crack as her body now looked like it had a fair amount of lean musculature on it. She examined her body and let out a scream, followed by a few more groans as her height shot up to 5'8, her frame now a lean 151lbs as her body clearly didn't resemble what it normally was.
Eucalyptus hugged Mel and held her tightly. Eukie's signature koala hugs always made everything better but Mel seemed to be in more pain than ever as she felt like she was losing who she was, and that made Eukie worry for her companion. Mel held her head as her neckline altered and her hair lengthened, turning from dark brown to jet black as her ears remained, but took on a more humanoid shape while her eyebrows thickened and turned the same jet black shade as her hair, her eyes remained the same shade of brown but they darkened as they widened. Her nose altering and growing a little as it resculpted itself along with her mouth. Her lips lost their more feminine aspects in terms of their size but her mouth in general altered to look more mannish than feminine while her teeth brightened up a bit.
Mel activated her mirror app as she gazed into her phone...although she didn't really need to see herself to pick up on what was happening to her. Her cheekbones sharpened as her jawline contorted with a crunching sound while her features morphed and reshaped themselves, she was right...she was losing who she was and becoming someone she normally wasn't. She thought about the Lost Boys movie poster and that's when she realized she was turning into HIM...as in Corey Feldman. Looking at herself, she could see she was indeed a dead ringer for Corey himself, as she gasped - her voice deepened and altered, becoming masculine and also altering to completely matching her appearance. It wasn't her voice anymore, she also now was sounding like him as well.
Now possessing Corey Feldman's appearance and voice, she gasped while a long strand of black hair dropped above her eyebrows and she held her head in agony...she attempted to think of her normal form but all of her memories of herself were blurring and merging with the memories that went with who she was....she began to think that she wasn't herself, but rather she was...as she or rather he was beginning to imagine being a were-celeb, specifically a were-celeb named Corey Feldman. As much as she or rather he wanted to resist, Corey's personality and mind take over hers, making Mel completely him in body and mind as the transformation completed itself, Eukie gasped in horror as the transformed finalized.
"Mel...is that you in there?"
"Not anymore....hello Eukie."
"That voice, that hair.....Feldman?"
"In the flesh.."
"I know Mel is still in there, I know I can get her out."
"Too late for that. Now that I have become like this there is perhaps no chance of you getting your best friend back."
"Corey...don't you dare."
The new Corey Feldman got up and inched his way closer to where Eukie was. Eukie backed away before grabbing the spellbook and trying to cast a spell on him, but the spell had no effect on him, he chuckled and dusted it off like it was nothing. 'What clever tricks you have there. I too have a few tricks up my sleeve'. 'Whatever you have done to my friend, you will pay for it dearly..' 'I'd like to see you try'. Eukie lunged at him and attempted to slay him but he dodged and chuckled to himself before fighting back with a few attacks of his own. A few minutes later, Eukie considered fighting him one more time but he jumped up from behind and lunged at her before standing up.

She panted before calling Lithius and the others. 'We've got a big problem here, my friend Mel is gone and...and..', before she could finish her message Corey snatched the phone and crushed it before running off into the night, laughing evilly to himself. Eukie attempted to try and keep him with him as he ran off, but it was no use. She collapsed and fell unconscious, and thus with that she awoke a few hours later in her bedroom, still dizzy and wounded from the encounter. She looked at the window and panicked. 'I just hope my friends will be able to help me through this'.
As for what happened later, she gathered all her friends together and they began to work on a plan to stop Corey and to get her best friend back. Unfortunately though it would prove to be a bit more difficult as Corey had his eyes set on Nathan and he wanted to meet him personally...his sinister plan was beginning to take place.
