Werebelushi rants: Haters III
Werebelushi:
So yeah...we’re doing another rant on dumb haters again, oh goody. Looks like Benthelooney has been targetted again. Oh boy, this is going to be a long night I can tell you that.
I’m not going to name any names but let’s just say that I find these people to be particularly mind-baffling.
So apparently they think that Ben is gay because he likes shows that are for girls and have female characters in them. Mainly shows like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the Powerpuff Girls.
So...liking a show that is for a female demographic or has female characters in it makes you gay, huh? Well that’s bullshit. I grew up watching Disney movies where the protagonists were princesses and such and I turned out fine. I grew up with stuff like The Powerpuff Girls. And again I turned out fine.
Homoseuality is a preference and life-style choice that the person in general is either comfortable with or feels is right for them.
Watching and liking shows made for a female demographic does NOT make you gay, to assume that it does is like claiming that someone is emo because they like bands like Linkin Park.
I mean I loved Sailor Moon when it was on Fox Kids as well as several other shows that may have had female characters in them and yet I am a bi-sexual.
Also...in case you didn’t notice….Ben T. Looney is FICTIONAL. A Fictional character used for the purpose of reviewing! He is not real.
Speaking of which….again with the whole throwing a bitch fit over the hottest animated Women list? Look...i’m going to go over this nice and easy….Ben T. Looney is FICTIONAL and so are the characters in the video.
Yes, Jenny is a robot - 5 years old as in built 5 years ago but designed as a TEENAGER! And what’s wrong with Asian girls? Are you being racist? If you are, shame on you!
Oh...you’re probably talking about Stacey from Phineas and Ferb aren’t you? So? I like Stacey too.
My friend Chris Garza told me that he loved Trini from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and I agree, I loved her too. Although surprisingly her counterpart in the sentai was a male.
There have been other female rangers besides Trini and Kimberly though, if ranger history serves me correctly.
And also...what’s wrong with liking a character like Misty, or Ariel? What? Do you have something against redheads or something?
Lastly.. yeah….a lot of the characters there are in their teens to late Twenties with the exception of Ami and Umi, so what? They are fictional and so is Ben T. Looney himself. That does NOT make him a pedo or a pervert, as he is aware they are fictional and he knows it too.
This is not unlike how some of my friends I work with in the Monster World got upset over that little reaction that my Walken friend Chris did to the Sleepy Hollow tv series. Ummm...so what if he doesn’t have anything to do with any other version other than Burton’s? That is NOT important. You should know that he is a fictional character and the reviews are made to be comedic and NOT to be taken seriously. Whether or not he has anything to do with the media in question is NOT important.
He already said that the only reason he has not to like the show is because the trailer gives away everything before you get the chance to actually see the show, which is a major pet peeve of mine as well.
For the most part my Walkeny friend enjoys the show in all its cheesy glory and so do I. It’s not as good as any other version but it’s still enjoyable to watch.
Remember when someone thought that Nathan was violating copyright law because of the whole were-celebrity thing? Well here’s the thing...using a celebrity’s image or likeness doesn’t always end in a lawsuit, it’s a practice that has been going for years! As long as he is not making money off it - then he is fine.
So what if a lot of his stories seem to be inspired by other media or if his creations seem similar to other characters? That does NOT prove a single damn thing.
For the most part, were-creatures are mythological and can be interpreted in any style or manner that you can think of.
Yes, the were-in werewolf means man and originally did mean that, but therianthropy comes into play as well which is where all the others come in. That’s the genius of his were-creations, they are a parody of that by being based of humanoids rather than animals.
And no...Werecreatures and furries are NOT the same thing. From what I understand, a werecreature is a person who turns into an animal-like creature at night but turns back to normal in the morning, a furry is an anthropomorphic animal character which means they are ALWAYS animal-like in appearance but have humanoid traits.
Also….i’m pretty sure that there is no ‘estate’ for the late John Candy, well he was kkind of survived by his wife and two kids but that’s it. The only dead celebrities I know of who probably have an ‘estate’ are probably Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson. Not even Brando had an estate.
I mean Johnny Carson had a whole franchise, you know the Tonight Show franchise which is still going on to this day but with Jay Leno still being the host as he’s been the current host since 1992 onwards.
The Elvis brand name is actually still around, as even after his death - Elvis’s records still make a lot of money.
Also about the weregrinch thing….you do know that How The Grinch Stole Christmas was is essentially a Seuss version of A Christmas Carol, right? The latter is public domain which means it is copyright free and can be adapted in any form. Almost every tv show has had a Christmas Carol inspired xmas episode, or if it is animated - a Grinch or Rudolf inspired one.
As long as Nathan is not attempting to make money out of the whole weregrinch thing, then Dr Seuss’s widow has nothing to worry about. It certainly wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen to the Seuss estate...and yes I DID like the Cat In The Hat movie.
Anyway back to Ben, they then go to compare him to Chris-Chan. Which really pisses me off.
Look NOT all autistic people are on the same level of insanity as Chris-Chan, there are worse people to be compared to.
Also….yeah, I saw that video. I doubt that the real Ben goes shopping with his shirt off or is that grotesque.
So what if the character of Ben T. Looney finds certain animated women to be attractive? That is his preference. And i’m comfortable with him liking those women as well.
Like me for example, I lthink Elvira is a super babe but I know she’s a persona portrayed by Cassandra Peterson and she’s in her 60’s. I do not by any means want to bone her.
I like a number of fictional women but that does NOT mean I want to bone them at all. In fact...do you want to hear of my first animated crush?
In the 90’s there was a cartoon show called Taz-Mania about the Tazmanian Devil of Looney Tunes fame. The character I had a crush on? Constance the koala! I still love her to this day.
For starters she is a koala! You would have to be pretty heartless not to love koalas in anyway! Second, she was one of the first animated BBWs I ever got to see. You can keep Lola Bunny, i’ll gladly take Constance over her anyday. Come to think of it...I do wish that some characters from Taz-Mania could appear in The Looney Tunes Show, well besides Taz.
It is okay in my opinion to be attracted to fictional characters or even actors or actresses who are the same sex as you as well as liking ones of the opposite sex too.
I already mentioned a long while back that Nathan’s friends and I think that Josh Peck is absolutely adorable...not to mention he looks AWESOME as all hell now.
My first exposure to a live action BBW actually was Eldonna from Nothing But Trouble, and yes I know it was John Candy in drag. She didn’t speak a word but I thought she was hilarious.
As someone who loves the musical Hairspray, I think that Edna is one of my alltime favorite characters. Especially John Travolta in the 2007 remake! I can’t help it, he made Edna so lovable in that movie! I’m envious of Edna as well because her husband Wilbur in this version is Chris Walken.
Last time I checked…..Pinkie Pie does NOT have ADHD, she’s just hyperactive and silly and wacky!
Also last time I checked….Ben is NOT a furry, in fact he even says so in the very video you people complained about.
So please, think before you open your big fat pie-holes! Maybe next time you’d consider growing a brain.
I’m That Werebelushi In The Shades and this has been my rant on haters - part three. *sigh* A Werebelushi’s work is never done. Now if you excuse me, i’m going to look up Taz-Mania episodes with Constance in them.
