A Special Birthday for A Special Horse

It was July 5th, 2024 which meant only one thing, it was once again the birthday of everyone’s favorite horse. That morning Oats, Mel and Corey along with all their friends got up and had breakfast and Oats was super-excited, he put on a new outfit and he trotted into the lounge with his friends.

“It is my birthday today.”

“Happy birthday Oats, so what kind of adventure do you want to do?”

“Any, as long as it is fun.’

All of them got out magical items from the bedbox and Oats got to choose a specific item for his birthday, which was a magic princess wand, he used the princess wand to open up a portal, they stepped inside the portal and arrived at what his dream home looked like which was a glamorous pink palace.  ‘A palace fit for a princess, don’t you think?’ 

“I'm certainly sure, Oats.”

“Oh yes, look at how beautiful the palace is.”

In the palace there were lots of anthropomorphic horses and unicorns who worked there and some who were guests, Oats had a special throne room and a garden with cherry blossoms, they had some morning tea together.  Oats sang them some songs and told them about how much he liked the decorations and how much he loved being a princess. 

“You are a very good princess, Oatsie.”

“I know, everyone adores me.”

Oats planted some special pink flowers in the garden and sang a song, they had lunch together and he even had a musical number and they all played around.  They stopped by a garden and pond to attend a water ballet session.

Anglo thought everything was so beautiful, especially the pond which had lovely fish that were a mixture of orange  and pink, the fish splashed around in the pond and the purple anglerfish admired the fish.  An hour later they had afternoon tea and played around.

When it was time for them to go home, Mel gestured to them and she used the magic item to open up another portal and they all floated through it and arrived back at their home in Nile Road, they floated into the lounge and sat together, talking about their adventure.

Anglo excitedly swam over to Belinda who had been waiting for them as he smiled, being such a happy anglerfish as Piff the pufferfish also smiled, they played around for a bit and then waited for dinner. When dinner arrived it was a particularly special treat because Belinda and Maria made nachos which were Mel’s favorite.

They all enjoyed their dinner and after dinner they relaxed, Corey presented Oats with some lovely presents he had bought for him and Anglo gave Oats a lovely pink clam-shell necklace, as Aiyido the beholder presented to him a special character sheet for D&D adventures. The group relaxed for a couple of hours before emailing Jill about their adventure afterwards.

This was followed by a karaoke session and some games and after all of their fun was over, they got ready for bed. Oats put on his pink nightgown as Corey put on his bat pajamas, they all gathered together in the bathroom to brush their teeth.

After brushing their teeth, they all decided to go back to the bedroom and pick out some friends to snuggle up with. They relaxed and listened to music as they all jumped into bed and snuggled up, Oats turned out the light as they all drifted off to sleep, having sweet dreams as they did so.

And thus their adventure had come to an end but not adventuring in general as they all dreamed of the adventure they had and Oats dreamed of being a princess and inviting everyone to his palace, and he got a lot of fans and admires.
