Happy Birthday Mel.

It was December 10th which only meant one thing, it was Mel’s birthday and that meant she was going to go on a fun adventure with her friends, that morning she and all her friends had a party at their house in Rosemary Avenue and had pancakes for breakfast, they celebrated and listened to music and even got to read some stories before Corey got an idea for an adventure, he used some magic in the green bag to make it happen.

Corey used the magic items in the bag to take him and Oats and Mel and all the microbe friends on a fantasy adventure as they leaped through what appeared to be a portal of sorts that took them on a tour of their favorite places.  They saw all kinds of aquatic wildlife at Kelly Talton’s, learned the magic of makeup and special effects at Weta Workshop, played games at the arcade, and even visited some places Mel had always wanted to go.

Mel got to visit the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and Dreamworld on the Gold Coast and even got to go to Armageddon with all her friends and take part in a cosplay contest in which they got turned into their favorite characters and won first class.

Oats even showed her how thankful he was for her and all her love by showing her a portrait of her he had made and painted himself as he performed a duet with her.  Both of them spent lunchtime and afternoon together, smiling and singing, and posing for photographs.

They had a really fun time playing and singing, and even got to know their new friend who was a Spaghetti punchkin named Capprico who was quirky and yet also playful and kind, and they had a dance and a karaoke party.

The duo enjoyed themselves throughout and in-between adventures they spent time with Jill reading stories and listening to music, their adventure took them all over to different places and even into the realms of Mel’s dreams.

A couple of hours later they stopped for a snack and when it was time to go back home they jumped for the portal and arrived back at 28 Rosemary Avenue before getting ready to go to Nile Road, they packed up everything and all the microbes and birds jumped into the green bag.

Mel got ready herself as the whole group hopped into the green bag and when it was time to go back to Nile Road they all got in Jill’s magic car and buckled up for a ride, the car took them all over Milford and over to their secondary home.

When they hopped out of the car they arrived at Nile Road and knocked on the door as they explored the area, they were greeted by the snackles and palm pals and Belinda.  They walked into their house and they picked out some friends to celebrate with, they all had curried sausages for dinner (Mel even had a second helping),  Mel did help herself to some chocolates that Zara had given her but only because she wanted to finish them all.

An hour later they had the cake that Belinda and Maria had picked out, and they ate a slice of it and it was delicious, Mel was okay but a couple of hours later she felt queasy as she ran over to the bathroom.

She threw up two times in the bathroom, specifically on the floor, but only because she had over-eaten a tad, she came back feeling a lot better. Zara however noticed Mel’s puke on the bathroom floor and couldn’t stop blabbing about it.

Mel however was in good shape, they played games and enjoyed singing songs together and enjoyed their birthday celebration, Mel felt extra special on this day and on this night.

They had a sing song session and emailed Jill about their adventure, telling her about the good time they had, when their sing song session was finished they went into the bedroom and had a lovely time relaxing.

Corey and Oats relaxed and listened to music and they got into their night-clothes, Oats put on his pink night-gown and Corey put on his bat pajamas as they gathered into the bathroom to brush their teeth, after brushing their teeth they went back into the bedroom to relax.

Their evening came to a close an hour later after they all picked a friend to snuggle up with and they all gathered up near the bed, they leapt into bed with Mel, they snuggled up with her and told her that they were glad they were happy with her birthday celebration and glad that her birthday plans turned out perfect despite some hiccups.

And so with that they all drifted off to sleep and had sweet dreams as they did so, Mel turned out the light and their bed took them on some more fantastic adventures in the lands of her dreams, and they even got to play games in their own personal dreamlands.

Another adventure has come to an end, but there are more adventures coming up so stay tuned.
