David Bowie TF W/horror theme.

NOTE:
This is one of the Bowie TFs i'm working on,  this is one of my character into him..he has already been turned into Jareth and it's only fitting that a shapeshifter like my character becomes Bowie,  this is one of the first times such a transformation has happened.

Nathan Forester aka Monstermaster13 was really a master when it came to transformations,  he could become anyone he wanted or any of his favorite characters and his love of monsters played a big part in that,   in particular ones that had shapeshifting as a superpower like vampires,  werecreatures and ones from folklore from all over the world.  Even back when he first started out he had a fascination with monsters and the fact he lived with them enabled him to live out his dreams.   Of course there were multiple personality quizzes he enjoyed on the subject of monsters and he liked seeing what kind of monster he’d be if he was in a certain show or movie about them,   and he jumped at the opportunity to take part in the latest one,  one titled “What Monster Type Goes With Your Personality?”

He clicked on the link and the quiz popped up on screen along with the first set of questions,  he read them closer and studied them to get an idea of what to expect and examining the site in general.  A lot of the question that were on there them did seem rather interesting and were picked out rather well,  all of them being extremely fitting.

“What is your favorite time of the day?”

“Well….it depends,  sometimes the morning and afternoon hours can be fun for me but the evening and the hours of the night are my favorite.  It’s so lively,  you know?  Plus,  all of the best horror movies take place during the night.”

“Favorite Monster Species?”

“Ooooh so many good ones,  I love fish-people and werecreatures as well as demons,  but I think vampires are the coolest and by far the most elegant.  They are alluring and seductive and also threatening,  there are so many different species of them too...from ones that look like Count Orlock to ones that are like Jerry Dandrige or Santanico Pandemonium.”

“Favorite holiday?”

“There are no holidays that I enjoy more than halloween but the Day of The Dead is a runner up.   I just love dressing up and changing into something or someone else,  it’s the art of disguise and i’m good at that.”

“Favorite Author?”

“R.L Stine,  Stephen King and H.P Lovecraft.”

“If you had a were-creature form what would you pick?”

“I love cats...who doesn’t?  But also probably a werekoala so I could be like Paifu from the Cowa manga and also like the scientist who turned into a giant koala in the Ambush Bug comics.  But i’m definitely thinking cat-person because of the Cat People 1982 movie and also because of Felicia from Darkstalkers.”

“What aspect of vampires appeals to you?”

“Hypnosis,  and the seduction aspect.  And not all vampires are the same.”

"If you got bitten and  turned into a vampire what would you do,  would you keep it a secret,  or embrace it and tell all of your friends and family?  Would you be happy with that decision?"

"Keep it a secret?  Heck no.  I'm embracing it and telling my friends."

"Which female monster would you marry if you could?"

"Santanico Pandemonium or Regine Dandrige,  but also Akivasha or Akasha."

"Favorite monster romance movie?"

"The Shape Of Water.   I just find it to be mesmerising and beautiful and the relationship between Elisa and the creature is adorable.  I love The Asset as well, such an impressive fish-monster."

"If you could remake or redo a horror franchise...which would you pick?"

"The Dark Universe.  First of all,  keep The Mummy as part of the franchise but have it that Jekyll and Hyde is the first in the franchise then the other monsters.  I'd definitely keep Ahmanet though."

"Alright...you're very close to finding out what your result is,  there's just one more question left for you to answer.  If you were in a monster invasion scenario would you fight against the monsters or join them?"

"Join them..."

"Excellent...your results will be shown in a few minutes."

"I can't wait to see what I get."

He waited for a few minutes but as he did,  he didn't notice that the moon was peering out from behind the clouds. That's when he started to break out in a sweat, his heartbeat increased rapidly as energy began to pump through his veins and he sensed that a transformation was coming on,  which it was.   He noticed his skin slowly smoothening and also becoming slightly pale,  his slight skin imperfections were fading away.

His hands slowly began to change and contort while his arms stretched a little,  his fingers also became a bit longer.  In addition to this his chest and torso slimmed, becoming lithe and trim,  he had always had a build like that but this was different, although he could hear the sounds of bones crunching and cracking,  there was no pain but he did feel a little bit dizzy and confused.

"Huh?  What's happening?  I feel so weird...am I transforming?"

"You shouldn't be so worried,  after all to you this is pretty much a natural proccess, but of course you probably haven't been me...yet.  Don't you worry though, I am going to guide you through it."

"You sound familiar...I have heard your voice before but I cannot put my finger on it."

"No doubt you probably HAVE heard my voice before.  After all,  once you hear me..you will never forget me.   I am everyone and everything but I am not god on earth,  but like you...I am indeed supernatural."

"How do you know i'm?"

"A shapeshifter?  Well you know,  I'm known for that too."

"Are you also a supernatural being that can shapeshift?"

"Let's just say I am a versatile person/being with multiple different personas that I have become over the years and know a few things about loving monsters. I think you and I would get along rather well."

"Who are you?"

"As I have said...I am everyone and everything,  I have worn many masks and faces..there have been many performers out there in the world,  but none that match my talent for becoming something else."

"Gary Oldman?  Ron Perlman? Lon Chaney?  Lon Chaney Jr?"

"Close...but try again."

"Alright...can you give me a hint?"

"See these eyes so green...I can stare for a thousand years."

"David Bowie?"

"Yes,  that is who I am.  You got that one right."

"I don't understand this, where are you and how are you talking to me?"

"I am everywhere and also I am talking to you telepathically."

"Yep,  that sounds like something you'd say."

"Listen very closely...since you and I both have powers and you seem to be a shapeshifter too.  One that has both vampire and werecreature traits at that,  I have decided to guide you...you see,  you're transforming into me."

"I'm turning into you?"

"Yes...."

"It feels weird if you ask me and a little painful."

"You'll get used to it,  could it be that perhaps you haven't been me?"

"Well I was Jareth once...being Jareth was kind of nice."

"This should feel exactly the same as that and you will definitely enjoy it just as much - after all we're already so similar.  I know it may seem a bit alien to you but you shouldn't be afraid of the alien,  you should be loving the alien."

"I guess you're right..."

"Relax,  I think you'll find that you're going to like this."

His clothing slowly changed into a elegant black suit as his legs lengthened as well,  his stomach slimming down as well.  He considered freaking out at first but oddly he didn't mind it,  not in the slightest as his back followed suit and his feet changed a little,  looking down...he could see a pair of black shoes on them.   In addition to this his shoulders lengthened a bit,  as he grew in height to 5'10.   He now looked rather lithe and lean,  as his hair slowly turned from brown and lengthened,  making it appear it had grown longer.

He felt his neck as it lengthened a bit and his eyebrows changed color,  turning blondish as his hair also turned blonde,  his eyes widened a little bit and also turned from brown to blue,  his cheekbones sharpened as his features altered in appearance, becoming quite regal and elegant-looking while his teeth altered a bit with the canines becoming a bit sharper...and looking kind of like fangs.  It was now like he had fangs but he wasn't becoming a vampire,  well...he kind of had the look for it,  actually he did...a lot.

His features morphed and reshaped themselves, as this was happening...his mind was changing,  making him think he was someone else.  This someone else was a British/English singer and actor,  who could change his appearance and style whenever he did,  he was a little bit weird but he didn't mind that...to him strange was a good thing...as someone who always liked scary monsters and super creeps,  and also as someone with eyes that could be so green (so green and they could stare for a thousand years) or red like a jungle burning bright he was quite interesting and formidable,  but tragic and misunderstood.

He always had felt like an outcast and like he was some kind of 'Space Oddity' lost in a moonage daydream,  but even though to some he was like a man who fell to earth, he certainly was indeed a rather bright spark...often jazzing for Blue Jean or singing about his beloved 'China Girl'.  When he wasn't going through so many c-c-changes,  he was certainly busy impressing people.    Both males and females seem to be enamored by him,  women in particular had a fondness for him and his ethereal qualities.   There were many singers out there,  but none could ever replicate him, he had this hypnotic aura that put many listeners into a trance. 

Every aspect of him came across as being alluring and entrancing,  and there was no denying it...he was supernatural in many aspects.  He removed the glasses he had been wearing all this time and examined himself...he didn't need to see a mirror to see that he now greatly resembled the man who was talking to him in his mind, which is to say he now resembled David Bowie.   His voice altered several times as it developed a powerful vocal range that could be altered to fit whatever tone of song he could conjure up,  also developing a British accent of sorts and become deep and also mesmersing,   it wasn't monotonus -  that voice of his was vampiric and hypnotic, it was also recognizably his voice.   His voice matched his appearance quite well,   he not only looked like Bowie but he also sounded like him as well, and his memories were changing to reflect this.

His memories fully influenced him as they took over,  any and all traces of Nathan were replaced with 'David Bowie' and yet he always felt like this,  this was natural to him...he looked over for a few seconds as his transformation completed and he looked over at the library.   He looked over at the books on the shelf and picked out a few.

"Hmmm...this person has a passion for the supernatural that is equal to mine. The fact he has supernatural powers makes this even better.  I've always liked monsters, but vampires in particular."

Just then,  he jumped back a bit as he heard someone coming in...he was aware that there were others in the apartment but he was still a little bit startled.  A familar face walked over to where he was,  a female that was an anthropomorphic koala with long brown hair and dark brown eyes and wearing a dark blue tank top and jeans,  this was Mel.   Mel was taken by surprise when she saw him.

"Could it be?  Nah,  no way...but it is,  how?"

"Hello,  Mel."

"D-David B-B-Bowie?"

"I see you remember me rather well."

"Well yeah..I had that dream about the movie Labyrinth and I was Sarah.  And you there too,  or rather my friend was there and he had turned into you.  And then it actually happened.  It was really funny but then Lithius tried to stop him or you and then...I didn't want it to end. I didn't want it to end the way it did."

"It's such a shame it had to end like that."

"But i'm so happy you're back..."

"It took quite a while for me to find a way back into this world but I found a way to do it eventually,  thanks to a little personality quiz your friend found I was able to combine my powers with his and transform him."

She squealed as she kissed and hugged him,  even though she had an immunity to any form of mind control she still had a soft spot for monster-guys and villains, she often tried to hide that while around her boyfriend.   There were many villains she had fallen in love with including the Hessian,  Jerry Dandrige,  David from the Lost Boys,  Darkness but the biggest one she had ever fallen for was Jareth.  She had dreams about dancing with him and those dreams often came true,  of course she tried time and time again to summon him.

"Promise me that you won't disappear again."

"I never did leave you Mel,  i'm always there and i'm always going to be here for you and you know that i'd never betray you or leave you.  Mel, I adore you...do you adore me?  Do you love me?"

"You know that I do,  with all my heart."

And thus with that Mel kissed David and the two of them spent the night together,  watching as the creatures of the night danced around.  Mel was happy to be with him and he was glad to be back with her,  the both of them were together again at last and they couldn't have been happier.

As for what happened later,  David and Mel danced together as he sang to her, the koala-girl felt like a princess when she was with him and she felt like she was in her favorite cheerful place with him around.   The two were reunited at last and it was a dream come true for both of them.

Remember,  my friends.  When it comes to supernatural creatures,  some of us are the vampire types,  some are the Gill-Man types and some are werecreature types but there are some people or creatures that just happen to be a hybrid type when it comes to  monsters in general.   And then there's Bowie types,  and well...there's only one Bowie type.
